Very nostalgic place, make sure you got some cash to pay for the ice cream and candies. The candies were the first things I noticed here, and they weren't overpriced compared to other spots. Then I saw the big display of ice cream. So many flavors! My daughter tried a lychee flavor and it was really tasty. I got one of their cherry flavors and it was fabulous. Very good, not too sweet, and loved the chunks inside. Service was great and the line moved quickly. We all sat to eat our treats at the tables. Would come back to try some other flavors!

Lots and lots of flavors, including unique ones, such as black sesame and lychee. Black sesame was nice and nutty, while the cookie monster was just as you would expect with a good amount of cookie bits. The cookie monster was too artificially blue though, and would color your teeth and lips. Matcha was interesting bc it was pale The single scoop is plenty to share for someone like myself that doesn't have much of a sweet tooth, so $4.50 is a steal!

Can't come to SGV without a visit to Salju Desserts. Absolutely the best shaved snow around…read more They're a tiny place, but clean with two seating areas. You can order either at a kiosk or go the the counter to order there. They offer an extensive selection of snow flavors, syrups, and toppings. There's also a variety of other desserts and beverages, but I have never been able to resist the snow. Be aware that the small size is large enough for 2 or 3 people to share, and the medium is bigger still. On the several times I've been here, service has always been both cheerful and speedy. A real pleasure. I live quite a distance away, an hour or more depending on traffic, but plan to return many more times. It's that good.

My friends and I chose Salju Dessert for some nice dessert because the ratings of this location seemed pretty good, but sadly we were disappointed. We chose the milk flavor and pandan. The milk flavor wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special. The pandan on the other hand was very bitter... We thought it may have been the toppings but figured out it was the pandan flavor. My friend described it as a medicine bitter taste, which I could agree on. We made a complaint and the employees happily switched it out for us for another milk flavor (maybe we should've chosen another flavor to try.) Toppings... the toppings were extremely expensive for such a small portion. It was around like $1.49 per topping??? Which is honestly pretty crazy. The toppings are set on the side in those small plastic ketchup containers. 4 Oreo cookies for $1.49, 2-3 buttercups smashed into pieces for $1.49, 1.5 strawberry sliced for $1.49, 1/8 of a banana sliced for $1.49... a container of chocolate syrup $1.49 you can imagine the rest that we added. Those portion sizes and prices are messed up lol The total was $35+ for 2 smalls with additional toppings. Overall, I don't think we will be coming back here for the shaved ice. There's definitely better options out there. The place was pretty busy too, maybe there's other items on the menu worth trying or they got bamboozled by the ratings... but in this economy, the presentation, taste, and price was not worth it and we wish we spent our money elsewhere. I usually take photos to share to friends on snap/ social media, but it was so disappointing I didn't even take any pics to show y'all. Very mid tier. Thank you to the staff who replaced our pandan though!

We also get regular scoops, the pre packaged quarts, and sometimes the milkshakes too. I'm writing this review now, after many years, because I was recently SO impressed with my online order. I ordered a chocolate ice cream cake (choco cake and choco ice cream) through the app. I was able to use my $5 off cake coupon as well. I called ahead of time and asked if they can make the chick cake into a character from Sanrio (Gudetama) instead. The person I spoke to, John, was super helpful and kind throughout the whole process. I emailed him the photo ideas I had and the cake decorator was able to accomplish the task! John was in consistent communication with me throughout my two week in-advanced order. The decorator did such an amazing job and my family was so happy with the results. The cake and ice cream also tasted delicious! During pick up, the workers greeted me as I entered. I was helped by John and he reassured me that the cake was indeed chocolate ice cream/chocolate cake. I appreciated that he checked before the outside icing went on. We are very happy with the service of the employees, the scrumptious cake received, the easiness of ordering and communicating, and the smooth and fast experience of picking up the order on Father's Day Sunday. We will be telling all our friends and family about our amazing cake experience!

I had just eaten dinner so I've kept it pretty simple here. I ordered the swirl with pure milk and pineapple dole whip. A simple yet tasty and satisfying combo. The girl working the counter was a young girl just getting by her summer day job. She was nice but timid. It was our first time there and a little more energy on her end could've been better. Ordered the ube swirl, pineapple dole whip, mung bean taiyaki, and a custard one togo. The taiyaki that goes onto the ice cream is a lot bigger than one we ordered to go. I thought it would be as big, but when I got it, it was so much smaller and flat. Also, the taiyaki that goes on top of the ice cream was old. It had been sitting there for a while or was made earlier as it was hard and difficult to bite. The red bean inside I also assumed was a paste like how they make the Japanese version, however there were whole pieces in there. It was okay, but I thought they'd be like paste. Overall, the only thing that was good was the ube swirl and the pineapple dole whip. It was also extremely warm in the shop, like no AC in the triple digits summer heat. Had to eat it elsewhere. I most likely won't be back.

Alfonso was extremely welcoming and easy to chat with felt like I was catching up with my friend's tio. All ice cream are made in-house. We stopped by right as they opened at 1pm and Alfonso apologized as some flavors might not have set enough to be served since he came in a bit late today. He usually comes in around 5am to prep when flavors are running low. Everything we tried wasn't too sweet. Definitely will be coming back and trying other flavors! Taro -so creamy, perfectly flavored and not overly artificial. Horchata -not too much cinnamon. Surprisingly good for it being water based, just enough creaminess from the condensed milk in it. Strawberry Jamaica -if you love strawberries, this flavor is it. Paired perfectly with chamoy and tajin. Mango -so refreshing, I added condensed milk on my own and chef's kiss. Wished they offered condensed milk here! Watermelon -liked this more than the Mango, but both are good. Chamoy and Tajin paired well! Mamey -creamy but the prefect amount of fruitiness. Also sooo good. Coffee -if you love Vietnamese coffee, this one is for you. It was so strong in a good way. We topped it with condensed milk at home and it was chef's kiss. Crack in a cup.. If you don't like strong coffee, stray away. Pistachio -tons of crushed pistachio throughout. Guanabana (soursop)- favorite flavor from water based we tried. It tastes just like the real fruit. Lime -just enough tanginess. My colleague ordered this and opted for no chamoy, personally felt like it was missing something but still good on its own. We topped it with condensed milk and also chef's kiss. Vanilla -sooo creamy and good, there is depth that I can't explain. Coconut- creamy coconut milk, not artificial flavor taste. Tons of coconut shreds if you don't mind texture. But it's a bit much if you get more than one scoop.

Most pictures you see from Tea Brick are their amazing and unique bottle designs, which you can pay a tad bit extra to get the bottle with your drink rather than the standard cups. I'd say it's pretty worth it considering it's not too much of a expensive and it's definitely worth the social media posts. It's very cute and they have plenty of designs from time to time. As a dog owner, I love their designs. They can be reusable in a sense even though there's a hole for your straw that you can't seal yourself. As for the drinks, they're not the best but not the worse either. They can be refreshing at times especially on a warmer day.
