Vegan District Asian Eatery is one of my favorite restaurants in the Loma Linda area. At this point, I've dined and ordered takeout countless times. They never disappoint in freshness and flavor. I've tried their orange chicken, Kung Pao chicken, spring rolls, and chow mein. I love ordering from their app when I'm short on time. The ambiance is a vibe. It's kept clean, and it's very inviting. They have a regular customer in me! 10/10 recommend for their delicious vegan food and service. - A non-vegan customer who lives for good, flavorful food

Maybe we just showed up on an "off" day or maybe it's because we are not vegan (but trust me, I am not opposed to vegan dishes), but on the day of our visit, I wasn't really impressed. And I eat food to eat food. The ambiance and customer service were great. That is a fact! Very welcoming and informative. Food was served quickly and attentively. We ordered our appetizers: Cheese Wontons and BBQ pork. The cheese wontons were great. I thought it could use a bit more frying, but my friend enjoyed the texture and flavor. Excellent with the dipping sauce. The BBQ Pork was too sweet. The sauce tried to mask the fact that the pork was a vegan paste or patty. We were not fans of the BBQ pork appetizer. My friend ordered an orange chicken rice plate. He was a bit disappointed with the portion size, but we both agreed that we weren't sure if it was the orange chicken because it looked and tasted more like the beef brocolli dish without the brocolli Too brown. Personally, I thought it tasted okay. The texture was acceptable. I liked it! It wasn't the prettiest presentation, but it was edible. I ordered the sweet and sour tofu, and it was okay. The texture of my tofu pieces varied, and some fried to a crisp better than others. I was expecting chunky pieces of tofu, like the orange chicken my friend ordered, but got cubes instead. That's fine. I appreciated the generous slices of green bell pepper and pineapples. I felt my dish was more filling than my friend's plate. I am a fan of vegan and plant-based dishes. There was just not enough here to make an impression with me.

Will Tennyson sent me here. Cozy restaurant with the nicest people. Good was amazing and I highly recommend those fried mushrooms or the vegan egg on top of another dish. Tasted 100% like an actual poached egg! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! We ordered a few things and they were all a hit! One item came out incorrectly but was immediately corrected. We'll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

I can't believe it took me this long to try the best vegan Chinese food in Southern California! No beef, all leaf! And very tasty too!! The appetizers, the main dishes, the cheesecakes and the mango smoothie were all delicious! I can't wait to go back for the Gen. Tso's Mushrooms!

**AMAZING VEGAN FOOD ALERT** I was in the area for work related stuff and of course I had to go on Yelp to find some good vegan spots. Well I'm so glad we came across this vegan gem. There are sooooo many great things about this place so let me start with the customer service. Service: David and crew were awesome! They were kind and patient with us navigating the menu and ordering process. They were very attentive and seemed happy to work there. Stellar service! Ambiance: Great decor! Nice selfie wall too! Seating outside with umbrellas for shade. Food: THIS.RIGHT.HERE!!!! I have been searching for a good vegan cheesecake that isn't trash! Because let's be honest, I used to be that non-vegan going to the Cheesecake Factory every so often for my fix of cheesecake. This vegan cheesecake takes the ultimate prize!!! I was doing the good food shimmy to the left, shimmy to the right in my chair. I took 2 bites and had to run inside to tell them how amazing it was! The consistency and flavor was almost identical to a non-vegan cheesecake. STANDING OVATION!!!! The rest of the food was also good as well. We had the general tso mushrooms, egg rolls, and crispy oyster mushrooms. Overall, great spot that we hope to visit again. They have a location in Anaheim so maybe we'll try it.

I was GENUINELY surprised at how good my takeout meal was from here. I actually regret not trying this place sooner. I've passed it a couple of times and today I called in a takeout order. I am not vegan but I do LOVE tofu and vegan food generally. This fusion is unbelievably delicious. It's hard to find healthier locations so I'm happy it's here! They said 10 minutes but it definitely came out faster than 10 minutes. I loved the energy in there. I want to come back and sit in there when I get a chance-- and of course try more food. My order: eggplant tofu with brown rice. very well made. Side note: They have a stamp card system!!! I love when places have those. I cannot wait to return honestly! Very surprised.

Vegan District is such a fun and unexpected addition to San Bernardino. I was there at their grand opening and they had their stuff together from day one! Food has always been flavorful, non-greasy, and 100% vegan. The taste is similar to their sister restaurant House of Fortune in Chino. Both are fantastic, but Vegan District's menu is a little less extensive. My favorite appetizer is the BBQ pork. It doesn't taste much like char siu as the sauce is just too different, but the sauce is sweet and spiced so it's delicious regardless. I love a good slab of seitan and this one is light and refreshing thanks to the absence of all of the fat that's in pork belly, and a very good value overall. Another must try item is the fried oyster mushroom dish. They come out so crisp and light, with so much umami and the aroma of basil. It is pricey, but it's so good I have to get it every time! I order the same dish from Happy Family vegetarian restaurant as well (it's a little cheaper), but I strongly prefer the Vegan District version, as it's less greasy, egg-free, better salted, and more flavorful. My favorite entree is the General Tso's mushrooms. They are battered and fried mushrooms tossed in a sweet sticky sauce. The portion is pretty generous, but I'd love if you could order entrees without rice. Loving Hut in Redlands offers choice of rice or salad; I would definitely appreciate that same option here too. Vegan District also apparently offers the elusive Yo Egg vegan poached egg, which I'm excited to try on my next visit. Overall, love this restaurant for a quick lunch after hitting the gym. Main issue is the price point, an issue that I think management is already aware of because they've already lowered their menu prices once. Unfortunately, it's still a bit pricey, so I can't afford to go too often despite how much I like the place. Definitely sign up for their email list, as they send out weekly coupons and also a special birthday offer too!

Beef Broccoli

The restaurant was busy with lots of dirty tables that left customers waiting to sit down. We ordered the orange chicken and beef with broccoli. The orange chicken was unique and well breaded. The sauce for the beef with broccoli was underwhelming. I would say there are other vegetarian restaurants within a 10 miles radius that I would choose to go to based on the ambiance, service and flavors of food. I am rooting for this restaurant and hope they will continue to improve as it's a new business.

I was excited to learn about this new vegan restaurant via Facebook. Hubby and I were excited to attend the restaurant's grand opening which included lion dancers from the San Gabriel Valley Cultural Association's. Having not eaten cream cheese wontons since becoming vegan in 2009, I was elated to see these on their menu. The restaurant owners are very responsive on social media and replied with the same day regarding a question I asked about menu items with nuts. There are only two items on the menu that has nuts which are the Walnut shrimp, Kung Pow Chicken and Kung Pow Tofu. In addition, I appreciated that the menu items containing nuts are indicated by a "nuts" icon on their menu in the restaurant Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was warmly greeted by the store owners. The outside of the restaurant has lots of ample seating. Once inside the restaurant, I pleased by well put together appearance of the restaurant. The overall look is bright and airy and has a very cosmopolitan feel. Hubby said the look of the restaurant is claiming and this a great place to come and destress while eating delicious food. I also appreciated the clear allergy sign placed next to the order counter. We started out with cream cheese wontons, BBQ pork, and Szechuan wontons for appetizers. The wontons were light, sweet and creamy served with sweet and sour sauce. The BBQ pork was tender and the Szechuan wontons was spicy and served in a bowl with broth . For our main dishes, we had General Tso Mushroom with brown rice, eggplant tofu with brown rice and vegan shrimp chow mein. Hubby said the mushroom dish was good. The vegan shrimp chow mein was fresh and the vegetables were crispy. The eggplant tofu was soft and flavorful when served in a brown sauce. For dessert, I had a slice of vegan strawberry cheesecake. The cheesecake was sweet and provided a refreshing end to our meal. Hubby also enjoyed having a iced Jasmine green milk tea with red popping pearls. Due to a great location, delicious food, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere, hubby and I will definitely make this a regular meal destination.

Food has amazing flavor, was fresh, and great portions. Our food was ready very quickly and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall pretty spacious and comfortable and a great atmosphere. Would recommend!

Checking out local vegan eatery. Let see So far the place has a good ambiance

Clean, feel-good ambiance I was gonna give a 5 but my food that I ordered made it difficult for me give a little more. The chili sauce was overwhelming powerful and I cannot even eat my food. I hate asking to redo my food but this time I have to as I cannot eat it. Also, I suggest for them not to serve any peanuts on their kung pao but rather cashew nuts just like any other Chinese restaurant since there's a likely hood that an allergic (to peanuts) customer can get their food contaminated and we will have a bigger issue. Overall, don't get discouraged but maybe try it for yourself. You may have a better experience than me. I got my food back (the redo). I was disappointed because now it's overwhelmingly sweet. It tastes like orange chicken now. Honestly, now I am just gonna try to enjoy the food and probably find an excuse not to come back. I'm hoping for a better experience if there's a second chance

The food here tastes good, however they are abysmal with regards to customer service. They often times are too busy to fulfill orders and this has happened numerous times. You'll see each of their dishes is $20 dish and you have a 50/50 chance of getting it delivered. If they are busy, they will give you messages of delays and then suddenly cancel without warning (delivery time of 5:45pm, cancellation notice sent to my phone through grub hub at 6:05pm). Similar experience when you go and try and pick up from their location.

The eggplant garlic lunch special was decent and hot/sour soup with fried rice tasted fine. Spring roll was ok, nothing I would rave about. There's special for dine in, 2 for 1 but it has to be entrees and NO lunch special. Female staff was friendly and quick. The service was fine the food was the problem. Duck was so bad, I have no idea how an entrée this bad could get 4.9 on reviews. It also says traditional Chinese. Unsure what I got but it wasn't Chinese. The Peking duck served in Gardenia (Sea Empress Seafood) is much better. Still can't beat regular duck from Sam Woo in Valley. It seems they can do carbs with sauce well but anything that has meat seems to be a disaster.
