You gotta come find this place! Delicious food, lots of items that were hard to pick from. They do a great job of labeling what's what so you know what type of veggie protein you're getting - and there's many options. Good for any time of day w breakfasty, lunch, and snacky options. The staff was super nice and if you have any questions you can just ask. Order online on your way - pick it up at the window and hang on their shaded patio. A great vegan option in Lansing. Ordering is done by calling their phone either ahead of time (drive thru) or outside the front door; there is currently no in person dining. We got the classic Beyond burger and BBQ HM "chicken" (soy) burger, both were very good; nothing out of this world or groundbreaking, but just very simple solid ingredients (fresh spring mix salad instead of iceberg lettuce was nice, as well as the soft brioche bun) that allow for a good sandwich/burger. I eat meat and this was my first Beyond burger and I really could not have told the difference in terms of taste. Would go again read more

My mom and I stopped here to grab lunch while stopping in Lansing for a bit. It's tough finding good vegetarian/vegan food anywhere really but this place was so nice to stumble upon! We ordered quite a few things to take home and try out, all the items were really good. We especially loved the burritos. And the salad I ordered was super fresh and yummy. The coconut cookies are delish, and all the packaging was recyclable. We will definitely stop by again if we are in the area. Didn't get to take a picture because we dug right in. I love this place!! I happened to be in Lansing this weekend and was looking for places to eat for a vegan. If you're a plant based eater (especially a high protein vegan) I highly suggest this place! I got one of their burritos which I had really high hopes for and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The only place in Lansing where all the options are vegan UNLESS you specifically ask for dairy cheese. We had all 4 breakfast options and split them between the two of us. Excellent flavors! Excellent service! We ordered, got in the car, drove to the restaurant, picked up the delicious food from happy smiling staff. I will say $46.64 (plus we tipped $10) is a bit pricey for a pickup joint... but that's mostly because I have a big appetite. We were both pleasantly full from our meal. I just typed in "healthy food in Lansing, MI" to find a place that would fit my new plant-based diet. I decided to try Veg-N and am SO HAPPY I did!!! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a genuine smile. The owner helped me to find exactly what I wanted and even checked the nutritional labels for me!!! She treated me and my friend who I met there so well! The burrito I got was way better than I expected. In fact, it's the best burrito I have ever had! It also didn't make my blood sugar spike. The owner and her family are all under thirty if you can believe it and are just so kind. The atmosphere is welcoming and she even let me plug my phone into her outlet when it was dying...oops. I have been wondering about this place for a bit. I think the concept is pretty neat: put A condiment setup on B protein on C "bun", so that makes 180ish(?) flavor combinations to experiment with and they're all vegan/vegetarian! According to owners, none of the patties are made in house. I could tell when I tasted that they used frozen patties dethawed and topped with GFS style sauces and lettuce. This restaurant wants at least $10 a sandwich for frozen patties. It also recently came out that although they mark up product 400%, they do not pay employees much more than minimum wage, and also have been withholding tips from Day 1. I was so excited to find this place. It was an incredible feeling to hold a menu and know I could get ANYTHING off of it. Everything looked great and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I am a vegetarian and have been for 30 years. My husband and mom are both meat eaters (pray for them - ) and they were surprised how much they enjoyed their meals. My husband went in fully intending to hate his meal, but couldn't find anything to complain about. We had Chili-cheese fries, hot dog, breakfast burrito and sweet potato fries. My husband and I live in Grand Rapids and I want nothing more than for the owners (who were very friendly and answered all our questions AND ran out to catch us as we were leaving b/c I left my purse on the chair) to open a restaurant here in Grand Rapids. The only suggestion we have would be to add recycling bins next to trash bins. I felt bad throwing out our water bottles, plastic dinnerware and plastic forks. Do not miss an opportunity to try this out. Vegans/vegetarians will feel like they've died and gone to heaven and meat eaters will be stunned. I wish I could give 10 stars!! read more

Wow! Veg-n is everything Lansing needed and more. I ordered the bbq chicken sandwich, it was so flavorful and literally melted in my mouth. You can tell that each ingredient was selected for the best quality sandwich. If you are looking for plant based options you need to try this place.... and bring your carnivore friends because you might even convince them to go plant based - it's that good!
