If you want to be taken to the cleaners and pay for alterations more than what you had paid for…read moreyour clothes come here be taken advantage of. I needed three suits altered. Angel was away on business so his daughter was runningring the show. She had me try on each suit and began marking where the alterations were to be made. She never actually wrote them down. There was a charge for the shoulders, a charge for the back, a charge for a sleeve, a charge for the waist, a charge to move a pocket, a charge for the inseam, a charge for a hem. Tit for tat.... When I came back for my fitting, the some of the alterations were done on the incorrect items. I was told I had to pay to alter them as well, despite my protest. When I came back again for a fitting, on one suit jacket, where the Shoulder was corrected, the sleeve was now too short, once again, I can go on and on. She refused to accept responsibility for any errors or miscommunication. There was no reasoning with her. The only response I kept getting was the prices are pre set. RIDICULOUS!!! If I didn't need one of the suits ASAP there would have been war. My final total for three suits was 1200 DOLLARS !!! Had I paid with a credit card this would not have been an issue, my dispute would have taken care of things. However, when I went to give a large deposit which they insisted upon, I asked if they would take cash for a tax discount (a common practice) I was told sure. I was given a 3% discount. I was expecting something in the neighborhood of 10%. After I left I remember there is NO TAX ON Alterations. Once again this very unprofessional, without any business sense, nor customer relations experience sarcastic, know it all would not even consider reasoning. I am very disappointed, with this whole experience, and am considering it i do not get any type of satisfaction, having my attorney bring action against them.

I requested working buttonholes for the cuffs on a suit jacket and a sport coat. I also had the…read morecollars lowered for both jackets. Came back 3 weeks and the results were horrendous to say the least. I got a small partial refund when picking up the garments because the owner, Emir, was not in the studio at the time. I emailed and got in contact with Emir requesting additional compensation after I inspected my garments more closely at home. I also had another tailor that I use take a look at the damages. He said the job was rushed and the wrong buttonholes were used. Emir disagreed with my tailor's judgement, writing that I should come in to discuss. It has been a week and he has not informed me of any possible appointments. Here is a technical breakdown of what went wrong. 1. Wrong buttonholes. 2. Buttonholes crooked. 3. Buttonholes not fully cut open. 4. Bad stitching and other faults. 5. Weird spacing. The buttonholes on a suit jacket/sport coat/ blazer should be a keyhole shaped buttonhole (Google Search agrees with me). Comparison pictures attached. Emir said they get various buttonhole requests from retailers and with his "20 years of experience", buttonholes on cuffs do not have to be keyhole buttonholes. I disagree. First problem not using a keyhole buttonhole, it causes puckering of the fabric around it. The buttons have shanks and usually (I mean always) sit in the keyhole so the fabric lays flat. Also the keyhole helps keep the buttons aligned at the end of the buttonhole. I confirmed all my suspicion first with my old alteration tailor and then my bespoke tailor, his response attached. The work done for the suit jacket was the worst job I have ever seen. The person who worked on the jacket kindly left the chalk markings so I can see how distorted and crooked everything was. Spacing was uneven, buttons were sewn on 3 different ways on a single side of the cuffs. Some of the button holes were not fully cut open, about a third of the buttonhole was still closed. They left an inch of the collar not stitched and forgot a spool of threads in the pocket. I saw the work of another employee and it looked fine. Sadly, I do not trust the owner anymore after his comments.

I knew from just one phone call that I dodged a bullet. The man who answered the phone at 10:30am didn't even know the terminology for a blazer, which was already alarming. On top of that, he immediately assumed I was old and overweight simply because I asked if they could adjust a blazer that was a little snug under the arms. That kind of response is completely unprofessional and made it feel like they didn't even want my business or to take the time to help me. For a first encounter, this is not how you run a business or treat potential customers. Honestly, after this experience I'm starting to think a lot of the positive reviews here might not be genuine. Definitely not a place I would ever recommend and yes, as a well known influencer this will definitely be a story time on my IG avoid this place smh

A gentleman, whom I refer to as the store manager, translated my requests to the seamstress downstairs. I then returned to the main showroom, and the owner quoted me a price. I picked up the items without the chance to try them on due to scheduling constraints, and later that day, I found the alterations to be unprofessional and not in line with the price I was charged. I was leaving for vacation and could not address it immediately. Upon my return, I showed the store manager my concerns and asked how we could rectify the situation. He advised me to speak with the owner, who was unavailable, and to come back in a week. A week later the owner still wasn't there. The store manager suggested I call the owner, and I asked if he could call him while I was there. He mentioned he doesn't always answer his calls. I said, so why would he answer a call from a number he's not familiar with? In the meantime, I took the two pieces to another tailor to see what could be done to make them wearable. After months of many visits, I reiterated that the work done did not reflect what I paid for and requested a refund. The store manager asked to see the pieces again, I explained that what was done could have been done by me, and he responded, "so why didn't you do it yourself?" I then stated I wanted a refund so I could take them to a proper tailor. He called the seamstress, and they spoke in Spanish about possible fixes. He explained she could complete the additional alterations, and I could pick them up on Thursday, with later delays pushing pickup to Saturday. After four months, the garments are finally wearable.

I've had two appointments so far, and in both cases, he returned the finished pieces within just a few days for a follow-up fitting to ensure everything met my expectations. He has altered a variety of garments for me, including complex coats, jackets, long-sleeved shirts, and a dress, all with excellent results. His $200 cash minimum is well worth it for the quality of work and level of service he provides. As a single woman, I also want to highlight how comfortable I felt having Ricky in my home. He is focused, courteous, and entirely professional throughout the process. Communication is clear and efficient--he's responsive via text and even sends helpful appointment reminders. I highly recommend Ricky to anyone in need of high-quality alterations paired with outstanding service and professionalism.

He was responsive, punctual, and said everything upfront. He mentioned that he didn't recommend to do bustle to my wedding dress due to the material. When he came to my apartment and i asked him to cut the hem, he mentioned that I would lose the border, which was a nice pattern. Raised questions in my head, but I agreed (big mistake). Fast forward to when I received the dress, the arm sleeves were still too big, cause he did not alter the armpit area. He didn't know how to do it! Geez, it was 10 days before my wedding day! I luckyly found another tailor who is an expert in wedding dress. Ricky however, took responsible of his lousy job and refunded 75% of my money. Which i appreciate. But ladies, if you're going to alter your wedding dress, for the sake of your sanity, go somewhere else who's an expert in wedding dress.

The whole process was very straightforward and easy. Kevin and his wife came over to pick up the suit. They helped measure and made recommendations on what would be done. My pants were only half inch too big on the waist so Kevin recommended I save my money and just wear a belt since everything else was perfect on the pants. Pricing was transparent and agreed to. Afterwards, they took the suit to be tailored. The tailored suit was delivered back to my house a week later. My sleeves were shortened, and back was also brought in. The work was flawless and the suit fit me perfectly. Thank you for the incredible service!

Unacceptable stress and poor project management for a high-end tuxedo…read more My experience with David was incredibly disappointing and stressful. Despite placing a deposit in June for a December wedding-giving us a six-month lead time-the process was mismanaged from start to finish. Although I requested a mid-November completion to avoid last-minute anxiety, and David promised to accommodate this, the timeline was completely ignored. I had to chase him repeatedly for updates. I didn't receive a first fitting until seven days before my wedding. Even then, the suit was in shambles: a jacket missing a sleeve, pants without buttons, and no vest. This forced me to attend three stressful fittings during my wedding week. At one point, he actually asked if delivery after my wedding date would be acceptable. I lost so much faith in the process that I purchased a backup tuxedo from Suitsupply just to be safe. Eventually, he delivered the suit at 11:00 PM the night before my wedding. For a garment costing nearly five figures, the quality is merely 'decent,' not outstanding, and it was missing several custom details we agreed upon at the start. I cannot recommend this service.
