Actually, it was even before they got the motorcycles; probably since they first had teeth buds. We've always had a positive experience. The staff is super nice, very knowledgable and Dr. Trautman has a very calm manner of interacting with the kids. The folks that do the teeth cleaning are awesome and somehow have managed to make it an event for the girls to head over. They explain everything to them, and have never been the least bit pushy. I remember the first day my older daughter was there, sitting in the chair with huge sunglasses on, almost seeming to enjoy what was happening ... she left wanting to be a dentist. Now she wants to be a cat-unicorn though, so take that for what it's worth. The facility itself is clean and bright, with a big fish tank and a train that runs along the ceiling. It has an open floor plan so you can really see what goes on in the place and it's pretty interesting. The building itself is centrally located right off North Buffalo road, in the heart of Orchard park. I'm writing this review because after we left there today, my daughter was smiling like crazy and happy because she felt really proud of herself for having a great checkup and I believe that Dr. Trautman and his staff had a big part of that moment of goodness. So anyway, If you're looking for a great pediatric dentist, I would highly recommend Dr. Trautman and his staff. Thanks for reading all that jabber. Now go have some pizza. You earned it.

You won't come in wondering who you are going to see, he knows all of his patients and treats each one with much respect and care. Aside from them making me wait an hour, as if I have all this time to waste and the Dentists time is more valuable...they charged to look at my mouth. I went to three places for pricing on an implant and they were the only ones that charged $90 just for the visit. The other two did all the same things including X-rays. Additionally, they were the most expensive! Go figure. The Dentist (who I bet prefers to go by Doctor) must think of himself as being really special to charge those prices. Run away and don't look back!! I suggest going to Buffalo Dental Implant!
