I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Tammy. I have worn enamel. I was warned as a young adult, but, never got any advice on what to do about it until I met Tammy. Tammy and her staff helped me develop a plan that makes sense to keep my teeth into my senior years. Her associates are knowledgeable and helpful. Tammy's experience is evident in the results. She has the proper tools, works quickly and precisely. I was so confident in her ability, I almost fell asleep in the chair when she worked on the second side of my mouth! What started out as a good experience turned poor after actually getting my teeth worked on. The hygienist was great, thorough and explained her process. The doctor was nice but I walked out in pain which was expected. The pain I still have over a month later was not expected. I've had my teeth worked on before and have never been in this much pain post-operation. My gums surrounding one particular tooth are still swollen and red. I still cannot brush/flush without my gums bleeding. The tooth feels jagged and my filling is too tall. I still am eating with my front teeth because it's too painful otherwise unless I take 600 mg of ibuprofen beforehand. Also, this particular tooth has become a food trap with a large gap at the back of my tooth which catches everything. I never leave reviews but hoping this will come as a warning for anybody coming here for anything other than a teeth cleaning. Friendly staff and doctor. The actual work done is the problem. It's hard enough finding/trusting dentists and it was disappointing to have a poor experience after years of not having dental insurance available to me. read more

I have been a patient with Dr Perison since I moved to Buffalo about 12-13 years And have always received exceptional care. I had to cancel at the last minute and was told there would be a hefty fee and when I asked to reschedule an appointment, I was treated rudely and then given an appointment 6+ months out plus. I'm am surprised that staff person was not only red but ccondescending. I am now debating whether to go back. As a health care professional, you do not treat patients in a rude condescending manner. read more

It gives me no pleasure to give Dr. Perison the rating above. My initial visits to the dentist and the hygienist were overall very pleasant. I began having a number of cavities filled on the right side of my mouth in early November 2021. There was quite a bit of pain and nerve sensitivity but this was to be expected. However this did not go away after a week, and I went back in to the dentist. An assistant attempted to grind my teeth to be more even as unevenness of bite was the suspected issue - unfortunately the assistant ground my lower gum and more pain ensued. I returned again because the pain chewing on the right side and the intense sensitivity to hot and cold was intolerable. Dr. Perison recommended an Endodontis at that time, who has been working with writer since December with no results as of yet - chewing pain and instense sensitivity to hot and cold on right side continue unabated. I will not be returning to Dr. Perison's practice due to the extensive complications created by a run of the mill initial procedure. read more

I am writing this review based upon a telephone contact and my one star reflects office practice as explained to me via the 'phone. I broke a molar this past Friday. It cracked and fell out, about 60% of it. I don't have dental insurance so the better part of this am I have been calling dentists, far and wide, so see how much this adventure is going to cost me. Because of scheduling conflicts the first possible day that I can see a dentist is Wednesday. Filled out the contact/request info form online. Got a call back within 30 minutes. Impressive. Person I spoke to was very nice and very helpful. Pricing and methodology is what got my blood boiling. As I've indicated I am not available today or tomorrow. No matter, office would have me pay for an emergency visit at a cost of $78.00 extra. $28.00 for xrays. Crown would run $1100.00 ($100.00 more than anyone else I've spoken to). Plus I would need a root canal(?)!!. My tooth hasn't even been seen yet. Sorry, this establishment is way too pricey for me. My broken down tooth will travel elsewhere for reinforcement. read more

This review is written on behalf of my mother. Dr. Perison, and I use the term "doctor" VERY loosely, performs subpar work. Every dental procedure she performed on my mother, including bridgework, cerec crown and fillings, ALL needed to be redone by her current dentist. The bridge was not even a year old. When my mother kindly asked for a refund, even partial, Dr. Perison and her staff refused, treated my mother very rudely and blamed her poor dental care for their inferior workmanship. My mother's current dentist, who is one of the top 25 docs in our current area, stated her dental hygiene is impeccable, specifically for her age, and stated she had never seen such mediocre dental work in her 20 year career. I would suggest avoiding Tammy Perison, DDS unless you want to pay for dental work twice when you have to get it all redone/fixed! We, as patients, need to trust our dentists to perform optimal work and my mother would have never known how poor Dr. Perison's dental work was had she not visited a more competent doctor. read more

I am a new patient at Dr. Perison's office and was highly impressed with the quality of care I received. She was very friendly and answered all of my questions. Her office accepts my insurance so with my first visit I wasn't expected to pay anything upfront. I felt she took the time to throughly explain my treatment plan to me. She also explaining how she can offer same day crowns, which is something that is very new to me. She also explained all of her up to date technology and I was very impressed. A different dental experience when going to this office. Everyone in the office was very friendly and welcoming and the environment was very comfortable. They even offered me coffee while waiting in the waiting room. They definitely went above and beyond! read more

Awful!!! I had a root canal done by Tammy Perison a few years ago. Not only is she incredibly rude and mean her staff is too! After I told her I had a fear of the dentist, she basically called me a baby and told me to relax already well shoving the gas mask on my face to shut me up. The root canal she did is a disaster, she over filled it so now I have to have an additional root canal done by a dentist who actually knows what they are doing. This woman has no business working with people let alone on their teeth. read more

I switched dentists and am a new patient of Dr. Perison and could not be happier. I do not believe that there could be a friendlier, more caring and professional dentist and staff. Dr. Perison is THE BEST. I just recently switched and I couldn't be happier. The office is so easy to schedule with, they always respond promptly. The receptionists ARE SO NICE. They make you feel so welcome and not like an inconvenience (I've experienced rude receptionists like that at other practices). The hygienists are AMAZING. I take very good care of my teeth brushing twice a day and using mouth wash and diligently flossing and it's really nice to actually be complimented on the job I'm doing. I always felt criticized at my last dentist even though I never needed anything other than a routine cleaning every six months. Dr. Perison is so friendly and sweet and from the moment I stepped into the office and was greeted by reception I just felt at ease. I have anxiety when I go into any medical practice and have had bad experiences with male practitioners in the past so it's really nice to not have such stress and worry with Dr. Perison and all of her staff. I have been a patient at this practice for many years. Never had a problem with my insurance being accepted. All work was done quickly and correctly. They also seem to have the latest technology as I experienced when I required an inlay. The 3D scanning and CNC machining of the inlay was very impressive.
