Really nice atmosphere

10/10 would recommend I don't understand why this place doesn't have full stars. My family and I had a birthday dinner here for my mom on a weekday at night. We had an incredible experience from the delicious food to the great service and decor. We are not very experienced with Indian food so we had some of the basics and everything was outstanding. Really great flavors. I will definitely be back!

I was pleasantly surprised with the delishness of everything. The naan was excellent. Ar first I thought the Chaba masala and butter chix portions were small but they were filling. I loved the sauces. Not sure what theyre called. A great addition to the neighborhood. Very cute ambiance and decor too

Butter chicken momos - best thing on the menu, def worth trying Mango and Rose lassi - pretty large serving size and decent lassi Aloo tikki chaat - it was good but nothing special, def kept us full Lamb samosa - it was exactly what it was, a little dry but also understandable because it was lamb Peri peri paneer (not pictured) - did not enjoy at all; first look at it was really underwhelming but for people who generally eat pretty spicy food, this was not an enjoyable spicy Overall: cute decor. The food was ok, pretty average compared to other options nearby. Nothing really stood out expect maybe the butter chicken momos. Will say the tables are also pretty small and really didn't have space to fit food as we ordered it.

Such a great addition to the neighborhood! I've been twice. Convenient location, Bright, warm and welcoming, cute decor, the family who runs it is lovely and friendly. They now serve alcohol. The okra fries are everything! Tonight we also had Rose lassi - refreshing, not too sweet Starters: Bhel puri Chicken samosas Channa masala (comes with rice) Chicken tikka masala (comes with rice) Cucumber salad Plain naan, garlic naan I plan to keep coming back! It's so nice to have a place with street food options plus some Indo-Chinese options.

Took my mom here for a light lunch, and while the food left much to be desired, the decor truly stole the show. The ambiance is absolutely stunning--vintage Indian elements that beautifully evoke the charm of 1980s India (at least, what I remember of it). It's clear a lot of thought went into curating the space, and honestly, the decor alone makes the visit feel special. The service was friendly, and the drinks were surprisingly good. I had a Rose Lassi garnished with dried rose petals--floral, creamy, and lovely. My mom ordered the Aam Pani, which she really enjoyed. I had a sip and found it incredibly refreshing. We weren't very hungry, so we kept it light and ordered a few small plates: pani puri, Chicken 65, and pav bhaji. Unfortunately, the food was a letdown. The pani puri came with good flavored waters, but the puris themselves were disappointingly stale, thick, and tiny. The pav from the pav bhaji was soft and buttery, but the bhaji itself lacked depth. The Chicken 65 was the biggest miss--overly sweet, with what tasted like old, dry chicken. Considering the prices, the portion sizes, and the lackluster flavors, it's clear that the emphasis here is more on aesthetics (and perhaps drinks) than on delivering quality food. It's a real shame, because the space is so charming--it has the potential to be truly special if the kitchen matched the decor's caliber.

Stopped in Sunday afternoon and placed a takeout order. Cute spot, the mural on the wall was beautiful. My favorites were the lamb samosas comes with tamarind chutney and mint chutney and butter chicken momos. The kids devoured the amul cheese dosa, which comes with a small container or sambar and coconut chutney. The chicken 65 tasted more like chili chicken, I'm not sure if I ordered wrong or that's what it's like. The ones I'm used to are usually less sweet and drier. It doesn't seem like good bang for your buck and far from street food prices.

Frozen food. Nothing exceptional. Nothing tasted homemade, I would not return. This reminds me of an Indian McDonalds.

Either way, I was nervous they wouldn't have a good meal. But I held my breath and hoped that the reviews I'd read beforehand were accurate. For the most part, they were. The garlic naan was incredible. My parents went silent when they first tried it, then quietly maneuvered the basket toward themselves while leaving rice for the rest of us. The chana masala and chicken tikka masala were also spot on - rich, saucy, and flavorful. Our salmon tandoori announced its own arrival to our table as big chunks of delicate meat on a sizzling platter. The larger pieces weren't completely cooked through, but we just let them sit on the hot flatware for a minute or two more. Spice babies, beware. We requested 'mild' as the spice level for all our orders because medications have changed my mom's sensitivity to spice. Even then, the heat crept invisibly onto her palate. "I don't know where it's coming from," she said, fanning her mouth. Even as a spice lover, I could detect there a thrum of baseline spice in most of our meals. You might want to temper the spice the way we did - by ordering a mango lassi. I've yet to meet a mango lassi I didn't like, Punjab's included. Here, they include a drizzle of something jammy along the sides of the glass. I didn't think it necessary (the lassi by itself is already fantastic!), but great for those who like their drinks sweet and photogenic. Inside, the restaurant space feels like what I'd call 'upscale casual'. It's nice - in fact, it's a lot nicer than a lot of Indian restaurants I've been in. But it's not the kind of 'nice' that makes you feel like you can't grab a meal here in your sweatpants. There's no dedicated parking lot, but there are a good number of spots along the nearby side streets (just pay attention to street signs that designate no parking days and times).
