We ordered the Chicken Tikka Naan wrap and the Tandoori wings.. Omg, the wings were soooo tasty. I've never had tandoori wings and now I feel like I've been missing out for so long. Flavorful, tender and cooked to perfection. It was served with ranch which took it up another notch. Delicious! First time in after seeing a tiktok and realizing it wasn't far from me. The menu is pretty straight forward but there are quite a few options. The hard taco shells tastes like a giant papri. I had a paneer and chicken. Both good, great sauces. The poutine is a interesting fusion, but maybe a harder fry so they don't get soggy before you have a chance to get them home. Street, metered parking, super clean inside. I'll be back again! I'm so happy I chose this place last minute. The service was fast on a Friday night and the food hot. It was sooo good. It had a lot of seasoning and flavor. I got the spicy lamb bowl and the Samosa chat. The spicy lamb was definitely spicy but the salad and the green sauce on the side cools its down and pulls it together. My only complaint is that it wasn't enough salad, just at the edge of the bowl and the rest a healthy portion of rice and lamb. I definitely can't wait to try other things off the menu. read more

Tandoori Twist was a nice little find in Valley Stream, NY. It's Indian food with a fusion twist. We tried a rice platter, a wrap, and some samosas. I am not an expert when it comes to Indian food, but everything was really tasty and looked good on the sturdy disposable plate. The place is clean, nicely decorated, and the staff were super friendly and patient. They took the time to explain how the "build your own meal" setup works, which was helpful. It is a nice spot if you are looking for something quick or want to sit and eat for a bit. Definitely recommend checking it out! Went in last week based on the excellent reviews. I'm on the fence, service was not welcoming and friendly, the lady at the counter made us feel like we were imposing. She was not forthcoming with answers to my questions. We ended up ordering 3 platters/bowls: butter chicken, spicy lamb and saag paneer (no saag only paneer), and 2 samosas. Portions were not generous as many reviewers stated. I was extremely disappointed in the 'saag paneer', I had a craving for this dish and that was why we came in. It is a spinach and Indian cheese dish, there was no spinach! So either the lady at the counter did not hear me specifically ask for the saag (spinach) or they don't have it and she just gave me what they had. Taste wise the samosas were ok, just ok and they were pretty small, almost canapé sized, so for me not worth the price. The tikka and spicy lamb were tasty, portion size small, barely any rice. I did order their listed menu platter, so I'm willing to go back to order the choose your own because the taste for both were good. read more

I really enjoyed this restaurant. It is a Chipotle for Indian food. I ordered the vindaloo sauce with brown rice and lamb. The lamb was very juicy and the sauce was spicy and good. I had the samosas for an appetizer. The price was good and the service was friendly. read more

I've never really had Indian food before, and I decided to try Tandoori Twist because I heard that the food was good. It did not disappoint. I got a chicken tikka masala bowl and a butter chicken bowl. We also got two different types of Naan and samosas. Everything is pretty spicy. I was hoping that one of the things I ordered was not going to be too spicy, but they were for the other people eating with me. I liked it all though. Everything was fresh is yummy. You have to order at the counter/kiosk which is fine. It's a very simple and very casual place. Not fancy at all. I will be returning to try more. read more

My go-to order is the butter chicken bowl and rice served with mint chutney, spicy chutney and mix salad. The food is very flavorful, and the portion of chicken is plentiful. I do think that the salad takes up a decent amount of space in the bowl, which could have been used for extra rice. The salad is super tasty with cucumbers, red onions, jalapenos, tomatoes and cilantro. It's very refreshing given how rich the butter chicken sauce can be. If you're paying with card this comes up to ~$15. The bowls here are on the pricier side compared to Chipotle and chicken over rice spots which are ~$10. read more

I came here for a quick bite to eat to satisfy my Indian food craving. This place is like if Chipotle's got sprinkled with Indian spices. They have delicious rice bowls, naan wraps and even tacos! Holy f***, so maybe it was because it was Saturday but wow, so the mango lassi first of all, don't get it. I was told it was made with mango (which btw was definitely not ripe), yogurt, and "seasonings" idk what that means but quite frankly I don't want to it tasted like unripe mango skin blended with heavy cream and basil.
