I'd give 0 stars if I could. The workers are rude and nasty. They are also very racist. They let someone blatantly skip in front of me and then had the nerve to charge me for that ladies' food of $31 plus mine, which was $14. I didn't see the charge until my bank reached out for fraud 20 minutes later. I've called the restaurant and they hang up on me. They don't plan on giving my money back, so my bank is going to handle it. Btw the food was cold, and the chicken was undercooked. Horrible experience! I will never eat here again read more

I was walking around the area with my mom and little bro and wanted to eat biryani so I picked this place. One of the ladies was nice and answered any questions I had but another lady wasn't nice or that rude but she was kind of impatient. Anyways I wanted to order goat biryani which was $7.99 but the impatient one said they don't sell it on weekends since I visited on a Sunday, so she recommended me goat biryani but it's special and the price is for $10. Since I wanted to see how special it was I ordered a plate. She heated up the food for like 10 mins but that food was sitting in the tray and it's heated up at bottom behind the glass so when it came to the table, the rice was over cooked and goat had huge bones and barely meat was there. But because it was heated up with too many minutes in the microwave, the meat became super dry. Egg was hard like a rock and potato had no taste. The portion was super small imo since goat with the huge bones took up the plates. I bought other items, chicken Kabab ($1.50), chicken samosa($1), vegetable fritters? (2 for $1), chicken patty which is the huge triangle one ($2) and small round chicken patty was $1. I also ordered keema naan ($3) but very little stuffing so couldn't really taste the stuffing much. Overall, the total came out to $19.50 and I don't think I'll be visiting here again. Maybe for the fritters I guess if I'm up for it. read more

Can understand the reviews on here, incredibly cringe worthy service. Should have read the reviews before going in, family and I were in the area for groceries and saw this place, we went in for quick snack. Asking for chutney is a no-no, can't ask, the lady will roll her eyes and yell at you. Asking for 2? Oh boy, now your asking for it. Asking for a to go container will take a good beat down, lady basically yelled at me and said you said to stay, why you need a to go container? Then her boss who was sitting on-site started chiming in, I said I'll pay for container, I was going to eat a little bit and take rest home, I mean is that ok with you? It made me feel like I'm living in a dumpster, where you literally have to argue with people to take a to go container. It's like what have to come to. Anyway, completely rude and unprofessional service, just be ready for that. read more

I am not sure the name of her but the lady in cashier was not nice. She does not greet, looked unhappy, and she did not even did my order right.. I ordered lunch set and it clearly says two picks of curry, rice, and two sides, but all I got was rice with two picks of curry. No sides at all. Also the curry and rice was cold. So I had to transfer it to microwaveable ware and heat it at my house. Its ok for me to know yo need to reheat it but she should have done it right. This never happened before with other workers there. I love their food so I will definitely go back once in a while but I learned that I should check what you get before you leave when the lady takes my orders. read more

This was my second time at this restaurant and I will never be back ever again. The woman at the front--who I presume is the owner--is the rudest most unprofessional woman I have ever come across. We ordered a few dishes to cater our dinner and multiple orders were incorrect. ONE DISH HAD A LONG BLACK HAIR IN IT. So disgusting. When asked to rectify the situation, the owner gave me a horrible attitude and refused to apologize. She claimed I was mistaken during the order process and it must have been my own hair. How pathetic. Instead of apologizing, she was uncompromising and downright insulting. A waste of money for inedible and unhygienic food. I will be taking my business to literally any other desi restaurant in Valley Stream. This place is horrible and this woman does NOT know how to run a business. read more

So the place isn't the best looking nor does it have the friendliest staff, but the food is great. I've order several times and never had a bad experience. I asked this lady for an extra chutney for my kebabs that I ordered 10 of and she only gave me two small containers of chutney. She got mad and straight up said no. I said give me extra I'll pay then she felt stupid. Never giving this place another penny. Lady should quit and do the restaurant a favor. That place loses a lot of business because of that lady. read more

The woman who picks up the phone is rude and clearly doesn't know how to deal with a customer or speak in a professional manner. Called in an order at 4 PM and they didn't have chicken chole. Asked to have that changed to a chicken curry and they didn't have that either. What kind of restaurant doesn't have the basics?? Ridiculous. King Kabob is a spot I come to when I want samosas. They have really good vegetable and chicken samosas. They also have cooked food available as well. Here's the thing, these days we've become more knowledgeable about our health and things that we've been doing that are completely hazardous. I don't think that restaurant should be using microwaves to heat up your food. I think it's absolutely ridiculous. Why would I go to a restaurant so that you can heat my food up in the microwave?? That's one of my biggest turn-offs with them. Sometimes I would love to order the food but don't have the time to order it then take it home to heat it up on the stove. So I always end up just coming for samosas. The customer service here isn't that great. The woman who works the counter has good days and bad days. Never any great days though. Parking is great in the area so you won't have a problem with that. The prices are pretty affordable as well. Definitely try their garlic naan and chicken kebab. The chicken kebab is refrigerated until you order but that they put on the grill they don't microwave it. Overall it's an okay experience. Nothing to go crazy about. read more
