So then I had to come back and they were trying to put boning in, but it did not look good so then I had to ask for them to take it out. And STILL the dress is too small but they would not listen to me when I asked for it to be slightly bigger. It felt like I was being dismissed and they were really poor at communication. I was hoping for better, especially after all of the good reviews, but it did not live up to the expectations. For how expensive they are, I would spend my money elsewhere.

Here, Melanie would hand me a new gown as i handed her the old one. She'd let me step into it (instead of micromanaging me and dressing me like a toddler like some other places), she'd clamp/zip me up, I'd come out, show it off, then go back into the changing room and take it off, and rinse & repeat. They have a cute floral backdrop to take pics against as well. They had a nice selection of dresses. Three of my bridesmaids joined me for this trip and they all felt comfortable and that they could be themselves. Some other shops I've been to were stiff or very quiet. Diamonds & Pearls was also the first (and only!) shop to suggest turning off the lights so I could see how the dress would look at night time and in darker settings. They do offer in house alterations as well. The only downside to this place was that they didn't have multiple mirrors to see different angles; it was just the one large mirror per my photo. Overall I really enjoyed working with Melanie! She was in my top 2 of bridal shop attendants I've had. My appointment was 90 minutes and because of how efficient it was, I got to try on a lot of dresses!

Vivid is a beautiful shop and I had a great time watching my friend try on dresses. All the dresses she tried were beautiful, and there were more on the racks that I would've liked to see on someone! The dresses are designer and therefore you try on what they have on the rack, but your size is then ordered for you and alterations take place after that, so make sure to give yourself time, if you choose a dress at a shop like this (at least 6 months probably). Susanna, the shop owner was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable while helping my friend get the dresses on and in guiding her to other dresses that she might like. We narrowed it down to two of my friend's favorite and Susanna never rushed us or made us feel like we needed to hurry up and decide, or that we needed to decide on one of her dresses at all. My friend decided to walk away to think about it (and we had another appointment the other side of town in a little bit), but ended up returning that afternoon to Vivid to get her super pretty, flattering and cool wedding dress for her big day in December! Would recommend Vivid for all local/regional brides shopping for a dress; there seemed to be something for everyone, and I happened to notice that they carry plus size dresses, too!

I was told the dress would take 6 months to come in. At the 6 month mark, I called to check on my dress. They informed me that the dress was never properly ordered through the designer and that the dress I ordered would not come in. Thankfully, the sample was still there and they told me I could take that because any ordered dress would not make it in time for the wedding. The sample is not the size I ordered, and had a fake tan stain on it (thankfully it came out). They offered to send the dress to a cleaner in New York before giving it to me, but I refused it due to the tight time constraints now in place with needed additional alterations with not having the correct size. The cleaning is a predicted 3-4 additional weeks, when I am only 3.5 months away from the wedding. When I asked how this occurred, they were unsure and that it was an oversight that can happen. I was repeatedly told that it was a good thing I called, because this error was not caught. No one at the business was checking in on the order that had been placed 6 months prior, even though my wedding planner called at the 4 month mark and they simply stated that it was not in and did not look into it any further. I asked for a discount or refund of some sort because I did not receive the dress I ordered, I received a dress that is not the correct size and is off the rack. They said no, since I was able to at least leave with a dress, the only refund is the $100 shipping fee. I asked if they could cover the cost of the additional alterations since the dress is not the size I ordered, they said no. The owner offered to cover my gown preservation after the wedding, but I no longer trust them with any logistics, with such an important piece, and will not be taking that offer. If you want the dress you ordered to come in, I would not recommend this shop.

And then attempts to send you on your way in less than 15 minutes - on my first fitting I needed my neck altered for a high neck dress because it was too loose. When I came back for the second it was twisted and they had unwrapped the material and it needed to be folded back over. -Additionally I am a small busted person, my satin material kept me from getting a built in bra and she just kept telling me I needed to get a push up... push up what?!?! I repeatedly asked for them to adjust the pleats on the front to fit and when she took up the neck it altered where the pleats fell and she refused to fix them -when I came in for my finally fitting the neck was STILL not done or stitched when I was suppose to take my dress home that day... she made me hold the dress while she shittily hand stitched the neck while I held the dress up. -Additionally where she had taken in the sides the material was ruffled underneath resulting in the dress falling weird and ruffling at the seam and insisted she could do nothing about the material underneath and just attempted to steam it out which didn't work. -additionally when I picked up my dress there were SEVERAL pulled threads on the bust where they had not been careful when working with the dress Do not recommend

Stating the hold was expired over a week - so apparently they say they called the fabricator who released the hold. You would think they would have called me since I told them twice - that was the granite I was selecting. Yes- I waited over a week when it finally came off hold. I wouldn't be so harsh- but it is just not good customer service. Especially when the tiles have been selected around the granite!! Yes- I have hundreds of dollars of tile that may have to go back. No one else has those slabs. They do have alot of stone. I will die on my sword before I recommend East West Granite to anyone.
