    Ceaser salad

We ordered take out last night at the last minute we decided to try this restaurant. My wife had the beef Lula plate dinner, which was wasn't bad at all, and I decided to try the MEATtzza pizza. First the dough wasn't tasty nor did it have any MEAT it was like a paste with some type of sauce. Not sure what cheese was used either. Didn't enjoy the pizza at all. Now for the Ceaser Salad it was drowning in the dressing which I just couldn't enjoy it. The lettuce was so gross and soft due to the way they tossed it way to much with dressing. Maybe dressing on the side next time maybe.

Arus (the owner) is so nice!!! This food is the best! We got the chicken schwarma wrap and the chicken breast plate. My wrap was so juicy, and tasted fresh! The chicken breast plate was a little spicy, but again everything tasted FRESH!!! Highly recommend! And the waffles are delicious too! We definitely felt welcome here, thank you Arus!

I decided to try Vapollo after driving by, and I'm so glad I did. Everything we ordered was incredible. The egg and cheese boat was absolutely divine. Fresh dough with cheese that complemented it perfectly. You can really taste the quality. They've been under new ownership for about four months, and it shows in the best way. The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The owners are also so kind and hospitable, providing genuinely excellent service that made the whole experience even better. The ambiance was very nice also, small place but with a beautiful paneled wood and green design. We also tried the Armenian coffee, which was delicious. It was rich, smooth, and the perfect addition to brunch. My family and I had such a great experience, and we're already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu. Highly recommend!

Tried Vapollo, since it's down the street from my home, wife had the beef shawarma and I had the Vapollo pizza, pretty darn good. Got the small pizza, that alone would have fed us both and great price. Definitely will go back. Enough food for leftovers.

This is their 2nd attempt at not burning the cheese pizza i ordered.

Worst pizza ive ever had. Asked them to remake my burntl, dry pizza while they looked at me like they had no idea what i was talking about. They kindly remade it though... no joke, here is the pic of the 2nd pizza. Im sure the rest of their menu is good, just dont order the pizza. Super low quality cheese. I literally threw it out when i got home. Cost $20 On the bright side, the decor was lovely and very welcoming, even though it was small, they made the best use of the space!

This restaurant was new to me, and I decided to try it given its recent opening. The chicken plate exceeded my expectations with its freshness and flavor. Although the ingredients were very fresh, I recommend including a no onion option for online orders to accommodate various customers. The beef shawarma my husband ordered was substantial and filled with a generous amount of meat. We look forward to trying more menu items. I would also like to point out that the establishment was very clean!

It's my second time here because I couldn't stop thinking about the Chicken Gyro. The food quality is so fresh and delicious. It's a small little place but it has its own uniqueness. The service is top notch. Prices are great, food is delicious, service is 100. We def will continue coming back here - it's worth the wait

I walked into this lovely little restaurant offering a sales pitch for commercial insurance. Having interacted with the owner a few minutes I became intrigued by the story and heritage and authenticity of the establishment. I returned the following evening & OMG this place did not disappoint! I had given up on finding a decent, fresh/clean ingredient restaurant in Simi Valley, I generally travel to the valley for decent food...I am so Happy i found this place it exceeded all expectations-Finally! I highly recommend it! The service, food, ambiance is phenomenal, generous portions and reasonably priced! Delicious!! I almost forgot to mention the pastry - baklava with walnuts we took togo. It's very light and not overbearing with syrup like most I've tasted.

Amazing food really needs to try it out! Personal service that makes you far at home. And very classic looking place to sit and enjoy a great meal :) Highly recommended!

Whenever I go to a breakfast spot, I always try the biscuits and gravy and they came highly recommended by our server. They were very friendly and sat us right away and the first thing they brought to us was their complimentary house coffee cake. I ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. The biscuits were as big as my face and tasted amazing. The gravy was a white gravy the kind you would normally find on a southern fried chicken steak. It was a very generous portion, however I prefer a more traditional gravy with sausage. Individually, though the gravy was tasty and the biscuits were tasty since they were both made from scratch. The bacon was thick cut and crispy just how I like it. Next visit I am going for pancakes. The customer service was amazing. Seriously top notch hospitality. If you find yourself in Simi check them out. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. No dinner service. Range: $$

3.5 Stars -- A Bright, Bustling Breakfast Spot With Lots to Love…read moreMy second visit to The Egg House in Simi Valley, and I'm officially convinced this place has serious breakfast magic going on. The staff is incredibly friendly -- the kind of people who greet you like you're part of the morning crew. Even when the restaurant is buzzing with families and every table is full, they move fast. I'm talking impressively quick service for how busy it gets. Yes, it's loud. Babies cry, kids chatter, plates clink, and the whole place hums with weekend‑morning energy. But honestly, it adds to the vibe. It feels lively, warm, and very "community breakfast hangout." Food-wise, they're doing great things. My first visit's Breakfast Burrito was delicious, and the salsa was so good I considered asking for a jar to go. Today I tried the vegetarian sandwich, and wow -- fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I wanted for a late breakfast. The cottage cheese on the side was a nice little bonus. Coffee? Hot, fresh, and delivered fast. No complaints there. One thing I won't repeat: sitting next to the bathroom door. When it closes, it SLAMS like it's trying to wake the entire restaurant. Lesson learned. The place is bright and clean, though a little worn around the edges -- kind of like a well‑loved diner that's seen a lot of happy breakfasts. Prices are a bit on the higher side ($14.50 for the burrito, $13 for the sandwich), but the food quality helps soften the blow. And I have to mention the parade of gorgeous dishes going by: pancakes stacked high, colorful fresh fruit, blintzes, crepes, French toast, waffles... everything looked so good I kept turning my head like I was watching a breakfast fashion show. I'm definitely trying something sweet next time. Overall, The Egg House is friendly, fast, tasty, and full of energy. A few small quirks keep it from being perfect, but I'll absolutely be back -- and I'm coming for those pancakes.

My friends and I came here for dinner the other night and I was absolutely blown away by this spot…read more Visually, it's a stunning place and they've done a fabulous job with the aesthetic as it's the kind of place that feels like a party. Neon lights, cute signage, and overall they just did a really great job with the design and execution. There's a lot going on but it doesn't feel cheap. Ambiance is definitely A+. For dinner on a weeknight we found this spot wasn't too busy but we also came after happy hour. It was a relaxed vibe. Service was overall pretty good. I felt like all of the gals working were very very sweet and nice. Also, anytime we stopped them to ask for refills and such we got what we asked for. That's my only upgrade as since it wasn't super busy, it would have been nice for the staff to catch the refills on water or salsa on their own/more proactively but hey, it was again a relaxed lowkey night and the staff couldn't have been lovelier. I'm just curious how the service would be if they were super busy? Now on to the food and drinks. The menu was very impressive! Solid cocktail and drinks menu. I'm bummed I didn't get a cocktail but my party doesn't drink so it was more fun to get an agua Fresca with them. The guava one was good and served nicely chilled. However, next time I'll definitely get a cocktail because their drinks looked fun and beautiful. The food was definitely the standout for me. I ordered the cheese enchiladas Suizas and they were a 10/10. Not comparable to most enchiladas I've had but the sauce was fantastic and unique. I really loved these enchiladas and I'd honestly get them again. Solid flavor in the rice and beans as well. My friends also enjoyed their meal and it seemed like everyone was happy. The pricing is a little steep for Mexican food but also the ambiance and presentation make sense to me why it'd be a little more. For the three of us the bill was over $100. And that's for three mains and three non-alcoholic drinks. Normally at $33-ish a person I'd hope for at least a beer with my enchiladas, so keep that in mind. As a special occasion place or a spot to celebrate this spot is truly fantastic. I honestly loved my meal so much that even with the price point I'd rush back and bring more friends because this spot is vibey. Nice staff and a cute spot to diner, 5 stars in my books given the quality, taste of the food and the overall experience.

The lack of daily service significantly diminished our comfort. Our single bar of soap had disintegrated, leaving us without enough for basic handwashing. I don't know if it was the system or the attendant but this took way too long, regardless. Having two children who are exhausted and waiting for their bed wait that long was unacceptable. I worked at a hotel during college so I know what the standard is for most hotels. Then we got to our room and my son pulled back the sheets to find chips all over the place. This made me worry that someone else had been in this bed and it was not fully clean! At the rate we paid, this should not have happened. I would've been fired if a room had this much of a chip mess in the bed! There was also black hair in the bathroom. Just a really unclean hotel. It looks really nice from afar, and from all of the professional pictures that are featured on their website but it's not. I tried to reach out to management to see if there could be an explanation for this mess of a room, but all the manager did was say he was sorry. We will not be coming back.
