Vans rocks !!! The customer service was excellent here with very friendly staff. Parking was easy. The selection was good, all Vans :) - - So, rather than shop at a shoe store or shoe dept with a few choices, you can come here and get a more robust selection (and probably a plethora of sizes too) read more

Took the kid for a non-gym pair of Van's. Fast easy purchase. Kid was happy and so is Mommy. The staff is very proactive and helpful. I didnt have to ask for anything. Parking sucks. We snuck into the designated Yoga spot and luckily they were closed that day. read more

Vans - Shoes! - Shoe Stores Near Me - Hermosa Beach, California

I stopped here yesterday to check out some Vans shoes. My girl love to wear vans, so I purchased here and I a pair from here and they fit fine. Since we know the sizes of our feet. Customer service was awesome here. Place is set right on the beach. My first time at this location. But I'd be fun to visit again. read more

Wow, sensory overload. The young adults love this place. Fun, we got some Christmas shopping out of the way. I'm sure we'll be back to this location when visiting Manhattan Beach read more

Vans - Cute girls selection - Shoe Stores Near Me - Hermosa Beach, California

What a nice store! I've been to a few Vans stores previously, but this one ranks at the top of the list. Lots of cool merchandise, great selection and excellent service. My sons wear Vans - they found shoes, shirts and even skateboards (I didn't buy any skateboards on this visit). Way better than going to the mall - Vans store on PCH - total winner! 5 stars read more

I cannot remember for the life of me what her name was, but the AMAZING young lady that helped me with a return today in the morning.. I returned the re-released mary janes I bought online and she had such an amazing attitude and kindness and understanding to her. I may actually return to buy in store rather than online bc of her! read more

Although Jezelle was knowledgeable of the shoes we found her rude, sarcastic and demeaning. She was too busy rushing us to try on the shoes because her finance was in the store. We spent a total of 15 minutes in the store. My boyfriend said he wore a certain size and she kept telling him to buy a different size. She was not listening to us. She should not be a salesperson. Sales people are respectful and helpful. It was one of the worst shopping experiences ever had. read more

I have always loved vans... a staple of any generation! The staff was very friendly and took care of both of my daughters really well. One of them is 3 so it could be easy to be short but that was not the case at all. We were treated so well and it made our experience so much better ... thank you! read more

I've lived in the SB now for ten years and this was my first time going inside this shop...probably because I've pretty much outgrown casual tennis shoes and it would look pretty silly if I rocked these shoes with a pencil skirt and blouse to work. However, I had to buy my daughter all white tennis shoes for her hip hop dance recital so hubby actually suggested that I come here....totally forgot they existed even though I drive by them every day on my way to work. They had exactly what I needed, classic, all white lace ups in a kids 10 for $35. I even got suckered into unicorn vans and a reusable tote bag. Anyway, $80 later, I had a happy little Kid with Unicorn shoes that could make her jump higher than any of her other shoes. Service was great. The two guys helping me were very patient with my daughter, friendly and very mellow. They have some really creative prints now unlike the canvas and suede ones they had back in the 90s. Would def come back to get some new kicks for my little guy for pre-school next year. Parking is around back. read more

My closet is full of Vans attire plus I have over 25 pairs of shoes. I like the clothing because of the slim fit and cool casual style. I only buy what really catches my eye. When I stopped by here there was plenty of items to choose from but I didn't buy anything on this shopping trip despite the gift card in my wallet. read more

They helped me put my sidewinder's aftermarket wheels on a skateboard and took their time with adding grip tape to my board. They have a decent selection of decks and clothes, and the store has beautiful employees. What more can you ask for? read more

Came here to get my first board and maybe shoes as well. Stock here is good. Parking in rear. Customer service wasn't good. Even though I was there to buy a skateboard with my money for myself- I was 90% ignored. All questions were directed to my boyfriend even though I was clear the board was for myself and I was purchasing AND that I had questions. Responses to my questions were also not directed at me. Very odd experience- would give even less stars but I'm sure other staff must be friendlier. Wanted to try on shoes but no one asked me if I needed help even though I was looking around the (small) store. If you don't enjoy your job or your customers... why are you there? Not sure if I would return due to the service but they had a variety of shoes, boards, hats, sunglasses etc that were pretty awesome. read more

Vans - New board! - Shoe Stores Near Me - Hermosa Beach, California

I love the new high top.. thick bottom sole!!... can't wait to see what on there shelf for the holidays!!

I had the wonderful pleasure of stopping in last week. Jasmine, or Jaz for short, helped me out. Jaz is quick and efficient, as well as personable and relatable. In customer service, your words and body language mean everything. Jaz helped me with the sizes of shoes I requested with a smile on face and even helped me build my skateboard. It was a pleasing experience to engage with all the associates. Manager was top tier awesome. 10/10 store cleanliness. Everything was folded and organized. Not a thing out of place. 10/10 customer service. 10/10 overall experience. I would recommend this specific store for any surf or skate needs. Thank you all read more

When I was a kid all the cool kids had custom made Van's....I was not one of the cool kids. Then years went on and many quit wearing Vans. I purchased some shoes from their Redondo store for my son but they were not the traditional style. Then I notice this new big store in Hermosa and I thought....really...another Vans? Is there a demand for them? So I walked in here yesterday and they do have the old school or is it skool Vans and newer styles too but they mostly have clothing for guys and girls as well as skateboards and all accessories. BTW I looked up the history of Van's and they first opened in Anaheim in 1966. read more

Great customer service! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Thank you Leo for your help!

I had such a great experience here. I came in at 7 so later in the day, but it was not busy and they staff were very attentive. They made sure I got what I came in for and made polite conversation. Overall, I believe I will be shopping here for my future Vans needs! :) read more

A Van's store in Hermosa Beach, what could be more perfect? It's like the two were made for each other. like peanut butter and jelly or peas and carrots...okay, you get it. The store is a relatively big store (ie a bit bigger than a Vans store you'd find in a mall). They've got a nice selection of women's, men's, kid's and babies styles to choose from. The store also carries a nice selection of men and women's clothing. Beware girls, though your shoe choices might be a bit less than the dude's, we definitely have a better selection of clothing. They've got cute clothes, and not just the stuff with their logo plastered across the front (though they have that too). I'm sure you'll be able to find something you like whether it be a sweatshirt or a pair of socks. The staff are made up of teenagers all dressed for the part of working in a mainstream 'skate shop'. There's parking in the back so its no trouble finding a place to park your ride. Be sure to check out this Vans store if your in the market for some new sneakers. PS you can also return items purchased at their online store directly to the retail store . cool deal! read more

Nice small place Nice to have a place that isn't crowded, like the mall, to get a pair of vans. read more

This is where it's at. This is the place that you'll find the most important two articles of clothing in Southern California culture... The Vans canvas shoes and socks. I have always been a huge fan of Vans and, now that I live so close to a Vans store, I will never go anywhere else to buy new clothes. I love culture, comfort, durability, and style. Vans has it all. My most recent purchase includes burgundy originals, and I skate/ wear them every single day. They are my perfect kicks. Infamous "Once Sentence Review" of Vans? "Why aren't you there multiplying your wardrobe right now?" read more

I was just in this store and was treated so kindly and with an extraordinary amount of patience. My son was really not cooperating with me and the employee who helped me brought me 6 pairs of shoes, trying to help me and two other people at the same time. The girl who rang me up was telling me how my son was just fine and rang me up telling me about her nephews. Every time I come to this store the employees are so nice and helpful. I really appreciate them! read more

Bought some Sandals from here and they kind of fell apart on me after just a few uses. After the Manager approved it I flipped the Flip Flops out for some new joints and have been rocking em ever since! I'm s0o0o0o happy that this spot is right down the road from me! I've been wearing Vans since I was a kid (I'm now 30) and I will continue to support/sport em as its now a tradition! read more

Super awesome staff. Greeted quickly, helped quickly. Great customer service! Even suggested a great way to preserve the shoes for weather damage, sun exposure etc. honestly one of the better customer service experiences I've had in a long time. Whole staff was amazing, but special shout out to Chase for going above and beyond. read more

Great sales associate! I took my 1 year old son here to find shoes. He has a narrow size 4 foot that's hard to shop for. We went to the vans store in hermosa beach to find a pair that fits. The sales associate sized his foot and to our surprise, vans had a whole display full of shoes that were his size AND all the options we liked were in STOCK! (Very rare) We ended up leaving with two pairs of shoes in less than 15 minutes. We call that a success!! read more

Slightly overpriced, but I guess they reserve that right since they're a top brand! Love the fact that most Vans can be worn in a casual or upscale setting. read more

Absolutley love this location! I shopped here often when I was younger and enjoy going back. Orginally I went in for gifts and scored bonus bucks for my puchase. Best believe I went back to pick up some fresh kicks for myself! Everytime I go to this store, Alyssa is there running circles around customers! She works hard and keeps a great smile on her face. Plus she has great suggestions for anybody on your list. read more

I literally called 7:59pm a min away from closing, didn't think my phone call was going to be answered, but thanks to Tyler. He was nice to check for the shoes i was looking for. I know I shouldn't of called at the time, but I was thankful that he answer. You can tell if a person is irritated or bothered by calling close to closing time. Thank you Tyler, you were beyond helpful and nice to do me the favor. You rock. No stress for upcoming event for myself and son. read more

I visited this store on a whim and had an amazing experience. I was greeted right away by the associates. Angelo and Jazmin were phenomenal humans and helped me find the exact shoe I had in mind. I never knew this hidden gem existed until I drove by one day. Finally had the opportunity to visit yesterday, 12/13/2020 and all I can say is WOW!!!! This is the BEST Vans store I have EVER been to....mind you I've been wearing Vans since elementary school way back in the 70's! Jess, Sophia, the greeter at the door (sorry I didn't catch your name!) the cashiers....EVERY employee in the store was phenomenal!!!! BEST customer service EVER! Keep up the GREAT job everyone & thank you all for being so nice & helpful!!!!!! read more

Limited / small parking lot. Nice clean store...most of the staff was friendly and provided a quick service.

Small selection of vans but nice. Small selection of clothing as well. They give coupons for future purchase with your receipt

So I had an issue with my daughters shoes. After only having them for a month, the buckle had broken off. So I called the customer service and was kindly told to go to my local store with the receipt for an exchange. I went to the Hermosa Beach location and Jacob assisted me and was very nice and friendly! He did an exchange with NO issues. Even apologized for the whole thing. I highly recommend this Vans location. read more

Possibly the worst shoe to wear for skateboarding. The heels are narrow, causing instability and almost guaranteed ankle sprains. The canvas uppers develop holes during your third or forth ollie or kickflip. I thought they were cool when I was younger so I wore them all the time, now my poor ankles crack and pop constantly. Maybe a skateboard logo on the tongue was a bad choice. Anyway, they do look cool, and I like all of the color options. If you're looking for a skate shoe, these are about as good as high heels, so look elsewhere. read more

Literally the worst customer service ever every single time I come here. Store being run by absolute morons. You're telling me you can't go to back get check a shoe size because the other 4 employees are in back just hanging out (personally witnessed) so you don't communicate that you need help in the front, you don't look the shoe size I asked for, and you abandon you the customer you're helping to ring up another customer. I truly wonder how many van employees it takes to screw in a light bulb. The actual manager really needs to finish her maternity leave. read more

Well, I would've liked to give this store a chance, but they wouldn't let me! I was trying to contact this Vans to check and see if they had a certain shoe in stock. I called 6 times consecutively this morning, no answer. And they were definitely open, it was almost noon. Nothing puts a more sour taste in my mouth. You lost a customer before I even walked in the store! read more

Probably the worst service I've ever had at a retail store. Place was empty and when they assisted me they made me feel as if it was a bother for me to be asking. Ended up spending ~$70 on shoes and socks I needed, but wish there was another store close to me I could have gone to instead. Ridiculously rude. Put shoes out on the opposite side of the store than when I was waiting and made me get up and move over there to try on. Just terrible. read more

Love this vans store. Close to the beach and they have super nice employees. Austin helped us out today and he did great.
