Our bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. the pool is on the small side and when filled with kids and teens it is virtually unusable. We had to pay a $94 "amenities fee" when we checked in. When asked about it, we were told it was for parking, the pool, etc. It did had a dilapidated put put course that looked like something out of the third world and the other "amenities" were similar. The staff was friendly and the location was good, but that was about it. Also, no shampoo, conditioner, but did had some small pieces of soap. This was an exchange on RCI and we should have checked the reviews. For the money we paid, is there a rating below 1?

If they rent the house during the days we booked we get our money back other wise good bye 3,000.00. they rented the house for three of the days and we had to pay for the one they didn't rent. They are not a good place to rent from we always do well with vrbo or Airbnb. I couldn't believe the crap we went through. I would NEVER use this rental company again. As they say Buyer beware

We decided to download and use Yelp! to leave a review on this place since VRBO did not allow us to…read moreplace the review on their application. We may also leave a review on Google. Preparation for the visit-- We left our house a little early because we wanted to get to Silver Dollar City before storms hit and try to enjoy our stay. We had spoken to associates from the resort who stated it was ok to show up two hours early and they would take care of the situation. Arrival at the resort-- When we arrived, we were met by security who were very kind and directed us to where our cabin was. The security officers provided a map and circled key locations for our stay. The layout of the resort was a little confusing and we ended up getting into an area where we had to back out. The roads are very narrow and leave little-to-no room for mistake. Your emergency brake better work if you're planning on parking near the edge of the roads. Arrival at the Cabin-- When we arrived at our cabin, we referred to the instructions left in our email to gain entry. The code for the door was not working. I called support once and left a message; then called again and an associate picked up. He stated we weren't supposed to be at the location for another two hours. It appeared somewhere along the line that someone did not pass information to the appropriate parties. After about twenty minutes we were texted a couple of different codes and the problem was solved. Inside the Cabin-- The cabin we stayed at was very cozy and welcoming. The lighting left something to be desired but it was sufficient to see our way around. The rooms were laid out nicely and were appealing. The crew maintaining the appearance of the cabin went the extra mile to try and decorate the inside to match the Christmas theme. All electronics we used worked and we had no issues connecting to the local WiFi. The dining utensils and amenities were clean and stored in an easily accessible location. The crew that maintained inventory and cleanliness of the cabin left some snacks and coffee in Tupperware containers for the first few uses which was nice when we wanted to brew a cup of coffee. The floors were appealing and everything matched the "woodsy" feel we were looking for. The floors were creaky in certain spots so it was difficult to move around the cabin without making too much noise. The beds were very firm and not what we were used to back at home. Sleeping was very difficult based on this. The thermostat was working all day and night to keep temperatures to our liking, so I can only assume insulation needs a little work (Mind you we rented this cabin in the late fall, early winter.) The water pressure was fine in the showers and sinks. The showers were clean but looked to be built for smaller people. I'm 6'1" and could easily see over the shower door, let alone had to 'duck' to get under the shower head. The bathroom does not have a fan so if you're about to take a load off, use the window in the bathroom and be prepared to let it aerate for a while. The toilet paper was 1-ply. If you're used to a bidet you may want to bring either flushable baby-wipes or a portable bidet. The jets in the bath did not work and we were not able to fill it with water warm enough to our liking. Most of the throw pillows were flat and need to be replaced or re-fluffed. The couch was uncomfortable. There were sufficient enough outlets available in the bedroom to charge our watches and phones but not much else. There was only one night stand which was the location where the power strip was located; so everything had to be placed on one side when we wanted to charge them. Some of the coasters for beverages were broken but they still fulfilled their function. Leaving the resort-- We decided to end our stay one day early because we saw everything we wanted to see in Branson and our needed sleep quality was more valuable than staying another day. Thoughts and overall review-- We got what we paid for minus some of the inconveniences that were listed above that should not have existed (Bed quality, toilet paper quality, bath not working properly, etc.). We liked the cabin but not enough to book another stay here. We are going to try our luck at another location the next time we visit.

The only reason for the 2 star and not a 1 star is because Sharon at the front desk is amazing and…read morebecause the bed and bathroom are clean, which are the basics for a stay. Also, there's a really cute marmot and a cute skunk on property too. Outwardly, the places look nice, but once you look at the details, you realize how run down this place really is. We are owners and needed to spend points as we couldn't roll them over nor save them. I wonder exactly where my HOA is going to, but it's definitely NOT this property. We ended up in a 2 bedroom cottage after issues with 2 studios in their Lakeside building (see my review in the Lakeside property). The cottage seemed super nice when we first got in here after our studio debacle, but you can see there are water leaks, mismatched ceiling paint (prob a fix to a water leak), AC broke after 2 days when it's been 95+ outside, a broken lamp in the downstairs bedroom, exterior lock not put on correctly, and deep gouges in the floor. Most of the cottages have cracked siding and missing roof shingles (prob the reason for water leaks). We looked up staying here out of pocket and realized that staying a week in a 2 bedroom cottage costs $100 more for the week than our HOA for 75k points. Also, 75k points gets you a week in a 2 bedroom cottage in Jan/Feb. For Aug, you can only get the studio in their dilapidated building. The hot tub at the lighthouse is cooler than Table Rock Lake and about the temperature of the pool. The main pool by check in seems nicer and is great for kids. One of the doors in women's restroom is missing from the stall and the steel in the men's restroom is rusted. Not sure how hard it is to get replacements. One nice thing is that it's away from the center of Branson so it's quiet. Stay away from this property and Capital Vacations. Our AC stopped working and we dealt with it as it was 73° so not unbearable, but on our last day, it was 86°. We told the front desk and asked for a portable AC, which they said they only had a fan. The AC tech came out and when pulling the breaker to work on it properly, the breaker box became separated from the siding. Unfortunately for us, the AC wasn't fixed but the tech left a box fan. The box fan was NOT going to work for the 86° temp so we decided to pack up and check out. Michelle was super apologetic at the desk and offered to move us to another unit, but we didn't think it was worth it since it was going to be less than 6 hours. After being home for a few hours, 11 hrs away, I received a call from Carla checking up on our AC complaint and wondering if our unit had cooled down. WHAT?? I had to tell her that we checked out last night. This place doesn't know which way is up.

Our toddlers watched a dry kiddie pool for three days this summer because they didn't have enough people. Sad we used to love this place so much. Our AC was broken, all our TVs and cable were broken, smoke detectors had the batteries out, wasps nests everywhere (not just a few small ones). Staff seems defeated and management are rude and confrontational. We spent THOUSANDS on this trip. They agreed to refund us, and now are refusing to do so. We've called and they now just hang up on us.

There was dog hair, human hair, and grass on the bed. There were crumbs on the floor, more hair, certain areas were dusty, and the bathroom floor had mysterious yellow stuff on the floor. Airbnb was very helpful and sweet on helping us out with a refund, but whoever hosted the hotel on Airbnb falsely advertised it. They did not show any pictures of it being Elvis themed lol. It was close to a local Pharmacy, Groceries and Fast food along with so many things to do for Adults and Families. The Manager at the front desk was absolutely the sweetest and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. The morning Breakfast had great Biscuits and Gravy and Waffles. They had Coffee and Juice and the Beautiful Woman who was doing the Breakfast was so sweet. We were very happy with the Room. It was a Double Queen and was very clean. We needed a extra Blanket and Towels and they were brought right to the room. It was nice having a refrigerator and it included a Coffee pot and microwave. We will definitely stay there again. We got to see a local Celtic show which was nice and we walked the downtown. They were just putting up all the Christmas decorations and it was really pretty at night. Make sure to stop at the middle alleyway with the hive Christmas tree to get photos. The owner is so nice and decorated it for the holidays. Make sure you visit Walkers Tacos when you are downtown! Have your appetite ready. They are amazing. This Hotel is our new Local Getaway for Staycations
