This place is great! Our family took over 4 cottages for our wedding weekend in 2007: the Tom…read moreSawyer, the Kingfisher, the Clovertree, and the Becky Thatcher. We were pleased with each cottage. It was so much nicer staying here than at a cookie cutter hotel. This would be a nice place to stay for a couple or a family. It was a reunion of sorts for our family and the facilities were perfect. There was ample space for cooking out or in. The kids had the freedom to run and play and there were plenty of options for the adults to visit. As we all know, everyone needs a little time to be alone on a family weekend and there was room for that as well. The lake was not usable when we were there, I don't know if that's changed. The geese were very comfortable around people but did not prevent us from enjoying the outdoor areas. If you don't want to be in town but wish to be close to town or if you like more space than a hotel room offers, this would be a good option. The cabins are decorated nicely but no one will be afraid to sit on a chair or use a table. Staying here made it easy to enjoy our weekend and our family.

The owner of the cabin really pays attention to the little details. All of the little things that we needed during our stay were provided (ie. corkscrew, foil and gas for grilling, firewood for the fireplace, etc) We went for a walk on Saturday to see the lake and saw a bald eagle perched in the tree. It was literally 10 feet away from us! We also went in the newly constructed cabins which were cutely decorated just like our cabin. On Sunday, we went to Thorncrown Chapel which was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your cabin in the woods with us! We really enjoyed our stay.

The lake is smaller so it's easy to take a morning and evening stroll around it to get your daily dose of nature. Our cottage was clean, comfortable, and adorable. I'd even say luxurious!! The pictures on their website aren't overselling-- it's really that perfect! We stayed in a pet friendly cottage (Gingerwood) with our two dogs, but you couldn't tell at all that it was "pet friendly" like a lot of other places (no bad smells or stains). The amenities were fantastic, too- the kitchen is well stocked and the bathroom was nicer than the bathroom in my house! Ha! The location is really close enough to town (Eureka Springs) that you can drive in for food and activities, but it's secluded enough to be away from all the traffic and noise. It was a truly perfect getaway and we plan on going back for an anniversary someday. The price was extremely reasonable, and their online reservation system was easy to use. On our last day there, Faryl (the cottage keeper who lives on-site and is very friendly) even texted us and invited us to come witness the birth of their new baby alpaca! It was such a cool experience and we were impressed that she had the presence of mind to invite the guests while she was serving as a midwife for the alpaca mama! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Convenient location, cute and quaint, great breakfast, awesome staff!…read more I botched a reservation on AirBnB for another property (forgot to actually click through the last screen) and didn't realize it until the day we were supposed to arrive. We quickly tried to book on AirBnB and didn't find a place we liked. We ended up on Booking.com and found this little gem. The treehouses are very quaint. They are a nice cross between old school Victorian styling with modern amenities like deep tubs with jets, very comfortable beds, flat screen TVs and comfortable patio furniture. The unit we're in is small-ish, but a perfect size for us. Though the breakfast is up at the main lodge, it's a quick drive, or a longish uphill walk for those who like some exercise in the morning. The breakfast was very tasty. We walked into town in about 10-15 minutes. It's uphill a little bit, but it's a gradual grade. At night it was very quiet. We slept amazing. A special shout out to Pat who helped us get into the proper unit. The online booking was wrong, but she straightened us out immediately and got us into a unit more appropriate for us and our 2.5 year old (Unit #6). We did get to checkout one of the smaller units and though too small for our family, would be a great little retreat for a couple. It's pretty obvious these are the Treehouses when driving by, but it'd be nice if there was an easier to see sign out front. Especially when approaching from the north. Pat gave me great directions, so we found them pretty easily. The "second-chance-bridge" into the property wasn't open, but it was easy to turn around and take the bridge on Main St.

So quaint and a little more private if the whole bed and breakfast thing isn't your scene. Felt…read morelike a nature get away but right in the heart of Eureka Springs. 10/10 would recommend
