If you want an easy stay in Eureka Springs, stay here. It was easy to book through the website, and easy to find and park. The interior of the cabin was great, and so was the view. Plus we were only a short drive to downtown. We felt relaxed for our 2-day stay. We felt we got our money's worth. The staff does need to improve their communication, we were supposed to get an email beforehand, and did not. I called them several times. They finally responded, saying it was a server issue. I get that, but an immediate phone call back would have been appreciated. read more

We recently had our wedding and stayed at the Treehouse Cottages in Eureka Springs. Laura, the wedding coordinator and Harold, the owner/wedding officiate were wonderful to work with! They took excellent care of us, made great recommendations for florist (Eureka Springs Flowers & Gifts) and Jill's Photography which were both excellent as well! We loved our cottage, it was so cute, comfortable and well appointed. We also loved the garden patio that our wedding was performed at, it was quiet, charming, beautiful and secluded for our small wedding party. [Hogsveil Cottages] This is one of the best places I've ever stayed. Staff was friendly and helpful. I pull up to my cottage, and my name is handwritten on a decorative chalkboard. The door is in the back, facing the woods; very private. It was immaculately clean, well-designed, and decorated nicely. The shower was amazing. The cabin also had the most comfortable bed and pillows I've slept on, aside from my own. It's in a very convenient location; very close to everything downtown. Apx. 12 miles from a Supercenter Walmart, but there is a grocery store right down the road. I did not want to leave, and will definitely be returning! read more

My husband and I stayed in the "Bungalow" treehouse for our honeymoon. I couldn't think of a better place to begin our marriage! This treehouse was very secluded and private. Eureka Springs is a cute area, but we found it difficult to leave our cabin. The memories of cooking together in the kitchen, cuddling on the couch while watching You've Got Mail, having our devotional time on the deck, drinking coffee in our pjs, relaxing in the jacuzzi, and falling asleep to the sound and warmth of the fire will live with us forever. Also, the owner, Patty, is a gem! It was a joy to visit with her at our check in. The gift shop is also completely adorable. Highly recommend this place and will definitely return! read more

My wife and I rented the Whispering Woods cabin to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. It was during the off season which worked out great for us. If we ever go back to Eureka Springs again it will be centered around when we can rent one of these Tree Houses. The Tree House appears to be new as everything is Just like new... However, after reading though the guess book it must have been around for a year or more. The treehouse is well stocked with whatever you would possibility need, except food of course. It has pots and pans, real plates, bowls, cups etc... full size coffee maker will real (large) size coffee cans (both Folgers Reg and dec) real sugar and creamer. Full size Refrigerator. TV with Dish Network and a DVD player. Fireplace with a Duraflame log for each night (we bought couple more and they delivered.) There is board games in the drawer. As for construction... well built (except for door weather stripping, which is none existing) built pretty solid with a little sway as someone walks across the floor, but not bad. The Floor is heated and felt nice when walking across it bare footed, outside temperature got down to 24 degrees overnight. Bed... super comfortable. at home I only sleep 3 to 4 hrs a night. Both night we stayed i got 7hrs of sleep each night. I can not say enough good things about these treehouses. read more

For the first part of our Honeymoon we wanted a relaxing time where we could catch up on sleep and unwind. This place was absolutely perfect for what we needed. The house sways ever so slightly as a subtle reminder we are in a treehouse. I built a "treehouse" for my kids a few years ago and consider myself knowledgeable on the subject. How the heck did they bring the heart shaped jacuzzi tub up here? How was the electrical and plumbing installed? This place is special. The room is clean, has a small kitchen, and a queen size comfortable bed. The room gets very hot in the afternoon sun, but that is a trade off for the massive viewing window. Ewok Village! That's what I kept screaming in the days leading up to our romantic getaway at the Treehouse Cottages. Boyfriend even bought me the Ewok movies on DVD to watch, and had secretly bought a plush Ewok that he was going to pretend to have caught outside, but he didn't come in the mail on time. The little touches really made this trip special, from the homemade pumpkin bread, to the anniversary champagne, to the little handwritten note with our names on it, outside our treehouse door. We loved the heart shaped jacuzzi, the various animals outside (being awoken by a coyote, anyone?), and the fireplace. If you didn't bring Ewoks DVDs with you, the office has a pretty extensive collection to peruse, and the owners are super nice. I can't wait to come back again soon. read more

We stayed for 3 nights mid November. Sunday through Wednesday. Best time to visit eureka springs. No crowds, 60 degree weather! Every restaurant we could walk in, no waiting! The cottage was adorable. Just down a few stairs, past the cute little garden and there we were at hidden oak. Lots of cute landscaping. Definitely coming back with a few accessories ( eye masks and pillows!, binoculars) Pros: Very quiet. Romantic setting Close to Main Street, 5 min drive to everything. Commentary snacks waiting Hair dryer, blanket, iron board, I pod speakers, cable tv, coffee all in the cottage. Best sheets ever! Excellent bird watching Heated floors! -they provide a few games like sorry! Checkers, etc. - very close to other treehouse, but the way they designed them, u cant seem them all all. All balconies, windows are located away from your neighbor! Very clever! -excellent DVD collection. Can rent out as many as u would like. Cons: Big window: brought in a lot of heat. 60 degrees outside but it was boiling inside without your air conditioning running on high! -no curtain at top of window, the moonlight and morning sun very bright. Bring eye masks! -flat pillows -hard bed. - tiny bathroom. Luckily there's a mirror/dresser for putting on makeup, curling hair. With lots of outlets -tiny fridge. ( but I see that isn't with all treehouses) -your car gets sap on it from the tree overhead. Only one parking space. Overall this place was awesome! Definitely coming back. Want to stay in all of them! Other location is close too. read more

We have stayed at Treehouse three times so far. 2011, 2014, & 2018. They must be doing something right! We have only ever stayed in the Hillside Haven Cottage. It's right beside the office at street level. It's the only option for children if that's important to you. Hillside is our favorite for one reason. The hot tub!! Beyond that, it's a cozy two floor abode with beds upstairs and down. It has a giant jacuzzi tub, which is also nice, a fireplace, small fridge, stove, microwave, etc. The balcony is nice on cool mornings. We have only ever come in early November. It's our fall getaway. It's very close to downtown where you can find plenty of shops and places to eat. Terry and Patsy, the owners, are friendly as is their staff. They're helpful without being overbearing. I'd recommend you give them a try. I think you'll be pleased with any of their cottages! read more

The cottages were pretty and clean. Sadly due to covid-19 it was a bit sad. We did not encounter anyone at check in or on our way to our cottage. We do not wear masks, we have had covid and are healthy. I am sorry that the owners are high risk and feel for that but they do not leave their home. We respect people and what they feel best for them. We walked from our car to our cottage and got called upon for not wearing a mask. We have seen others who were staying there not wearing one either but we felt we were singled out. We were threatened that if we did not comply, we would be kicked out. So we said, bye. We were not going to deal with being asked to wear a mask when seeing NO ONE. I would have loved to enjoy the property as it was beautiful but I was not going to sit outside with fresh air and have to wear a mask. read more

I was planning on booking a trip to Treehouse Cottages in July and while browsing their website I noted that they had a no pet policy. I wrote to the owners to notify them that I had a service dog. Laura responded back that no pets were allowed. Her lack of enlightenment was outstanding. I simply cannot understand how someone in her industry can be so blatantly unaware of ADA laws, which prevents discrimination against service animals. Laura was nice in her email and even recommended another pet friendly accommodation. However, these owners need to get more educated in regards to people with disabilities and to the service animals that they need to assist with their day to day lives. This lack of awareness is so disappointing at this day in age. Very sad. read more

We came here for our honeymoon and stayed in the Venice Treehouse. We enjoyed it so much that for our first anniversary we came back & stayed in one of the Castles and for our second anniversary we again returned & stayed in one of the enchanted forest caverns. From the fireplace, to the romantic lighting and the jacuzzis built for two, it's the perfect setting for a romantic, intimate get away. The layouts are designed so that every location has a private scenic view off the balcony. Rooms have a small refrigerator and cutlery, plates etc for two. Book early as they book up to a year in advance even during the off-season. Note: if you plan on visiting during Jan/Feb many of the restaurants and shops are closed. read more

We visited in November for an 11-11-11 wedding. I loved our room. We stayed in one of the cottages and while it was a little more than my little budget allowed it was SO FREAKING worth it. I shared no walls with my neighbors, I got a fridge and microwave, there was a gas fireplace which heated the little room up marvelously, and my favorite part: the jacuzzi tub. That tub was the lifesaver of my whole stressful trip. It was big enough to comfortably fit two people and the best part? They either have the biggest water heater in the world or we got our own, that tub of water was scalding and exactly what I needed for some TLC. The sheets were really soft and not at all like typical hotel sheets. The only complaint? The bed was a little hard. But really, after my bath, I didn't even care. The owners/operators were really helpful with directions and suggestions on places to eat. We even got a little map with their personal favorites! Wifi was free in your room. After seeing the pretty expensive rooms offered at the Basin Park Hotel where the wedding party was staying, I think I totally got the better end of the deal. read more

Was told after paying for my $400 getaway that if I am not there by a certain time, they need more money to hold my room to "pay someone to stay and give me my key" I have never heard of a place that I needed to be checked in by a certain time. Things come up and people come from out of town/state to stay in hotels.. as long as it's after (usually 3pm) you can check in. I will NEVER deal with this company again and will tell everyone I know about this! read more

It's the morning after and I am still laying in the Whispering Wood Treehouse's huge, soft, eat-you-alive bed. When we arrived we were greeted by humming birds and red buds. My husband made a delicious surf and turf dinner on the grill while I read on the balcony over looking the trees. We were the only people on the planet! I'd been toying with a quick trip to Eureka Springs for awhile - a weekend getaway to break up late winter. I found the website for Treehouse Cottages online, and was pleased with what I saw - it looked like a good place to relax, or a good home base for exploring the area. Their online calendar showed them to be solidly book throughout the year, even in the off-season, so our weekend getaway ended up being a mid-week jaunt for my husband's birthday. I was concerned en route that in person the room wouldn't live up to the online promises, but those doubts were allayed as soon as we arrived. The staff and owners have been incredibly friendly and helpful, and they make good on their vows to let you have your peace, quiet, and privacy while you visit. You are welcomed in your room with fresh-baked pumpkin bread and other complimentary snacks. Rooms have a small kitchen that allow you to eat in (as long as you don't need an oven), and a TV, DVD player (the office has a great library of new movies & old favorites for you to borrow), and an iPod dock so you can listen to your favorite playlists during your visit. Everything is clean and in great condition, and each day a new Duraflame log is delivered to your room for your own fireplace. Our private deck has a full-size BBQ grill and a birdfeeder that's been home to many birds and squirrels. My only complaints? I wish there was a soap dish near the claw-foot tub. And don't get any too-wild ideas - we're not IN a tree, just sort of in the trees, and the rope bridge leading to our room? It doesn't swing! We've visited Treehouse Cottages twice in the last few years and each time we love it! The office is friendly and accommodating. As others have stated, you are welcomed with a handwritten note, homemade bread, and other little touches. From the moment you walk in you feel welcome and at home. The room has just about everything you need for your stay. We didn't eat out much because we had the refrigerator, grill, and small stovetop. In Eureka Springs you can do a little or a lot. I'm hoping to go back soon. Be sure to plan your stay at the cottages well in advance because they are usually booked. That in itself should be enough to say about the experience. read more
