So, the sales folks are nice on the front end, but afterwards, they don't have time for you. I purchased a CPO vehicle which requires that they provide two "working" fobs. I did receive two, but my mistake was not testing both. One was probably the original factory issued fob and works fine (even though it needed a new battery), but the other was a defective aftermarket fob. When I asked about it, they implied they would reimburse me for a replacement, but now I cannot get a response. read more

I will not be returning to this location again. They have horrible customer service. My service advisor was very short and when I asked him questions - he was not very helpful. They do not have a shuttle- even tho when scheduling thru the app, they ask you if you need a shuttle. They give you a $25 uber voucher - which was enough to get me to work (5miles away) but did not cover the ride back to pick up my vehicle. I would have made other arrangements had I known I couldn't shuttle to work. When I arrived to pay - I met Maria at the cash register. She never smiled - she seemed annoyed that I was picking up my vehicle. When she pushed the paperwork over to me to sign - I asked her what I was signing... silence... I looked up and she was just looking at the other woman employee that was standing in the cash register area - the other woman smiled and told me what I was signing. They do not make you feel welcome here. I sometimes go to the Burleson Toyota - they are wonderful - always helpful and kind. I will start going there for all my vehicle needs. Not a good overall experience what so ever. 2026 Tundra that was used. Several issues with this dealership which I would tell people to not buy form this store. First, they agreed to fill up my gas tank which had 10 miles left on the tank. When they handed me the keys, they had not put a drop of gas and the salesperson said he had to go pay for the gas out of his own pocket for me (true or not that is what he said). Secondly, the following week I noticed the drop down middle cup holder in the rear had stains and something was spilled left. The truck only had 12k miles on it so it looked like they felt like they didn't even have to clean it. Lastly, I had asked the salesperson to secure the items I had left behind for me since I was in a hurry when I left the dealership. I left behind important papers, Meta sunglasses, garage opener and several other things. At least 3 different times I spoke with the salesperson and he said there was nothing in the vehicle. This is the most untrustworthy and unprofessional dealership I have ever been to. I wouldn't buy a bicycle there if I knew what I know now. I dropped my car off at 9 AM on Saturday for two issues: a dashboard message saying "Maintenance Required Soon" and a right rear door handle that fell off the first time it was used. Despite having an appointment, I was initially told no one could work on it until the following week. After that was corrected, my service advisor (Bryce) told me it would take 2-3 hours to look at the car and that he would update me -- which never happened. I had to find him myself. I was told a part needed to be ordered and that the car would be ready Monday. I was not offered a loaner or rental, even though the rental desk was open while I was there. Over the next several days, I had to repeatedly call for updates, was given shifting timelines, and wasn't informed until Wednesday that more than one part was required. Being without my car during the workweek caused significant disruption for my family. Communication was reactive instead of proactive the entire time. When the car was finally ready Thursday evening, I was given a $25 Uber voucher, which only covered half the ride cost. Upon driving home, I discovered the maintenance warning was still present, meaning one of the original concerns was never fixed. The door handle was repaired, but the overall experience was disorganized, poorly communicated, and incomplete. Recommendation to other customers: If you choose to use this service department, be prepared to advocate for yourself constantly. Do not rely on promised timelines or proactive communication. If your repair requires ordered parts, ask detailed questions up front about transportation options, part availability, and realistic completion dates -- and confirm that all concerns you brought the vehicle in for are clearly documented and addressed before leaving. read more

Wasted three hours. Really don't want to leave this review because I'm so exhausted. I told Thomas the salesman MULTIPLE times that I would be the sole name on the title and I would be financing through BofA, who had already approved a loan with me and my mom as a co-sign. Multiple times this was mentioned. Not once was an issue mentioned. Went through the entire ordeal, 3 hours. Back and forth finding a right price. Multiple times laying out the situation. Test drove. My car. He test drove my trade in. Was very excited I finally was getting a new car, and after signing everything, I'm told by financing that Thomas is wrong and my mother has to be present but if I want I can try and finance through them by myself. Make sure you know what's required for maintenance for servicing before you schedule and what is included in your Toyota Care plan (2-year/25,000 miles for purchased vehicles [every 6-months or 5,000 miles). Took my vehicle in for a 6-month since it keeps low miles. Service rep stated: 1) according to the system they didn't change my oil and they would be doing an oil change for free today (duh, it's included in my Toyota Care plan), and 2) they're going to do a $29 fuels system clean since he's helping me out with a free oil change today (I declined). Anyway, it sounds to me like this may be a common practice at this Service Center so make sure you know what's included for free already and what's required because it looks like they try to upcharge or upsell to customers they think don't know what's included/required. And you guys owe me a free oil change outside of my warranty since you didn't do it last time. read more

Attempted to purchase a 2017 Lexus LX570 from Vandergriff via internet sales. The salesman, Meeran, was initially very responsive and I also received texts from Rhett, who said he was the sales manager who handles all internet sales. We agreed to a price which I felt was advantageous to both parties. In hindsight, negotiations were a little too easy--they immediately agreed to meet right in the middle between their price and my initial offer. After the agreement, Meeran took my info to run a credit check for a finance application, as I was giving them the opportunity to beat the rate my credit union offered. Sure enough, within a few hours, a hard credit pull showed up on my report. Meeran requested a $1000 deposit to hold the vehicle, and I informed him I was uncomfortable sending any funds over before I had our agreed upon deal in writing. He agreed, and said that they would send the buyers order right over. He (and Rhett) then proceeded to ghost me for several hours. Eventually, shortly before closing time, I got a text and call back promising again to send the buyers order. Sure enough, I hadn't received it by the next morning. Meeran said that Rhett had been busy but he would send it over shortly. A few hours later, Meeran called to let me know that, unbeknownst to him, another buyer had offered $1000 more than I had and they were going to sell the vehicle to him. He offered to still try to "work out a deal", but I let him know I would not be interested in purchasing that vehicle or any other from Vandergriff Toyota. I was relatively certain the plan was to verbally offer a lowball price, lock in my deposit, and then wear me out for more money. Reading some of the other reviews of Vandergriff bolsters this assumption. Very glad that I trusted my gut and declined to send the deposit before I had anything in writing, so all I'm out is a hard credit pull and a couple hours of my time instead of having to do a chargeback for the $1000. I purchased a 2025 Toyota Camry from this dealership and was told I would receive a second key at a later appointment at no cost, and that my gas would be reimbursed since I live over an hour away. I scheduled the appointment and made the drive back, but the experience was incredibly unorganized from the moment I arrived. When I checked in with the service clerk about the key and the missing caps in the back row, I was immediately told to speak with other departments. Service sent me to parts, then back to service, then to sales, and no one seemed to know anything about the agreement that was made when I purchased the car. I repeatedly heard some variation of "I don't know" or "that's not my department," and was left waiting while employees pointed me in different directions instead of communicating with each other. Eventually a third-party key maker arrived and made the key for free, but it required me driving again to a separate location because of the rain. I never received the gas reimbursement I was promised, and the missing caps were never addressed. The lack of communication and accountability between departments made what should have been a simple visit far more frustrating than necessary. Never Ever go to Vandergriff Toyota. They are liars and scammers. Saw an ad for this car that I wanted to buy. Told Warren that I don't live close so don't waste my time. He guaranteed that he could get me in one. To make a long story short he passed me off to Mohammed and after putting down$3000 he sold me a 2018 Lincoln MKX. After two weeks of having the car the car stopped working. Was told to send it to get diagnosed and was told it was the starter. Marvin who is the used car manager told me to have the car towed back to Vandergriff and they would service it. After a few days Marvin informed me that if they couldn't fix it so he says that he would put in another car. Few days later we come back up there and was told I needed to refinance. Taken care of in finance and waited for the car. The new sales guy Nabil came and said I couldn't take the car home because it needed service. Called next day and was told some paperwork needed to be done and it should be ready. After calling all day I finally spoke with Nabil and tell me that the car is not finalized. When I asked when it would be ready he said that he didn't know.I asked for a loaner or rental and was told no.Nabil speaks to Marvin and he said he didn't want to work with me and that he is returning the Lincoln which they said was unserviceable. So now I am out of 2 cars and $3000. All I wanted was to buy a car from a reputable company and instead it was no communication and lies. read more

Great dealership in Arlington Texas, by the mall. They had a lot of inventory that other dealers didn't have so I drove a little over an hour to get to this dealership passing 3 other Toyota dealerships. The sales experience started great and then got slightly rocking with the salesman but the sales manager Dalton Wilson stepped in and cleaned up the situation. Overall the experience was 8/10, I would say 10/10 but the salesman previously helping me was a lot to deal with. I got help from Carson who was super nice and professional (Which you should be at a dealership selling $50K cars, just saying) Eli in finance was also very professional and tried to get me in and out fast. I recently had a very frustrating experience at Vandergriff Toyota that I feel other customers should be aware of. I brought my vehicle in for a simple oil change--something that should be routine and relatively quick. After checking in with the service department, I was told it wouldn't take too long. However, after sitting in the waiting area for over an hour and 45 minutes, I realized something wasn't right. When I finally asked for an update, it became clear that my vehicle had essentially been forgotten. There was no proactive communication, no status update, and no apology until I brought it to their attention. For a basic oil change, that kind of delay is unacceptable--especially when the issue appears to be a lack of organization and attention from the service department. I understand that dealerships can get busy, but completely overlooking a customer's vehicle shows poor management and a lack of respect for people's time. If you're scheduling a quick maintenance visit, be prepared to wait far longer than expected and to follow up yourself. Very disappointed with the level of service and communication. My best friend just purchased a brand new 2026 Toyota Camry. Now he and I both LOATHE dealerships but we went in, we sat down with Andrew Vu & man the process went so much quicker than we anticipated. Almost as soon as we sat down, he came over, asked what we wanted, what was a preference, what we could do without, and shortly after he pulled 2 cars up and we chose the Camry. He got us in finance, got the car cleaned and detailed and we were off. My son and I plan to return in a couple months to get a car from Andrew again. I purchased a Jeep from this dealership on 09/23/2025 for 21,000, financed through Lendbuzz. After finding mechanical issues, the dealership gave me only two options: keep the faulty Jeep or trade it for a more expensive Toyota Camry XSE with 90,000 miles priced at 30,000. Despite explaining I couldn't afford the pricier car, they pressured me to take it, I was also misled about the payment schedule; they said my first payment would start after 2 months only to discover the truth after i had signed the contract, When I raised concerns or asked to cancel, a staff member threatened to drive the Jeep and leave it at my home, causing me distress. and fear .finally last week they offered to cover only \$1,200 for two months of payments doesn't address the pressure or my situation. The way they treated me isn't fair. I have suffered, been threatened, and put in a bad situation. I even regret the day I went there to buy a car. How can they treat their customers like that and expect us to refer others? No way--I wouldn't advise anyone to go there with such kind of treatment they gave me. They are heartless. Now, I can't even sleep thinking about how I am going to pay the bank this amount of money considering my monthly salary. Given this, I respectfully request a reliable vehicle priced at 21,000 or less, as I made clear from the start that was my budget and should not be forced into a more expensive car due to their issues. read more

DONT BUY FROM THEM ITS JUST A BIG SCAM So on February 20th my mother put a $3000 down payment on a 2018 Lincoln mkx it only had 10000 miles on it and the test drive was perfect. They only said that the hood of the car was damaged and wouldn't open properly. Which for us was fine since we really needed a car we've be walking for 3 years now . We give them the money and take the car home . On April 1st the car won't start . We find that odd so we call them and tell them that we are having mechanical issues . They told us we need to pay $200 to tow the car out there . We found that absurd and asked if we could take it to a closer auto repair shop . They said yes so we did they told us that the starter in the car was completely damaged and needed to be replaced . We tell our dealership because we only had a the car for a month and they told us that there was no issues with the car besides the hood . They said they can fix it for free and they can come pick the car up for free . (Which is odd because they wanted $200 to tow it in the first place but wtv ) they come pick up the car and started working on repairs. Repairing took a week. Even though they said it was a 3 hr job... but again wtv. We call them to see the update on our car and they said something else is wrong with it and the car will start but won't stay on. Basically saying the car is UNFIXABLE . We were confused on our next step. The payments for this car comes up anis $500 and we find that absurd to pay when we haven't used the car since we pretty much got it . But anyways over the phone they told us that we can come pick out a new car since the car they gave us was a lemon. But when we arrive they tell us we have to go through the entire process of renting a car all over again And they asked for a co sign but when we originally purchased the car they didn't ask for a co sign. They are now telling us that if we don't get approved with the bank that we'll have to pay AGAIN for another car . And if we don't have the money for that then they are just gonna give us the broken down car back and tell us to fix it on our own even though we had no prior knowledge of the cars condition when they sold us the car. Also now they told us that for some reason that our car is unfixable and that we still have to pay it off . We complained about that and they said they would give us a different car . Now here's where things get messed up. We go up there and speak to Marvin and he says that we can get another car since that messed up the last one . They told us we can come pick up the keys . We found it odd but went up there anyways waited for hours upon hours just for them to say they need to do an inspection and that everything went through . we waited 2 days which is today. They called and told us that they never finalized the loan with the bank and the car was never finalized. We tried to ask questions on why it wasnt finalized but they said they no longer want to work with us and they are sending our UNFIXABLE car back to us that we have to pay off or our credit will be at risk . The car doesn't start and we can't drive it . Our car stoped working on April 1 we got it February 20th we only had the car working for 1 month . It's April 23 and nothing fixed they did absolutely nothing in the past 22 days but lie they said they could fix it then called and said it unfixable , they said they could give us another car and then said they never finalized the loan or the car , and now they are saying they don't want to work with us for asking questions . Now we are stuck with a car that doesn't work and stuck paying $500 a month for a car that doesn't work. We are definitely suing and I'm sorry for those that have gone through this HELP ME GET THE WORD OUT. read more

This is a group of scammers. My wife and I have a two-month-old daughter and two teenagers and we are looking to upsize our vehicle. We came across a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe at this dealership. The listed price was $41,558 + tax, title and license. In their disclaimer, it reads that the price listed includes dealer ads which is short for dealer additions. I work 12-hour rotating shifts at the local power plant in my town and my wife really liked this vehicle and wanted to check it out. We had planned on going up and going home with this vehicle. I got up about 4:30 A.M. yesterday (12-13-25) morning, got ready and headed to work. I got off about 5:30 P.M. went home and we headed up to check the vehicle out. My wife had called the day prior to set up an appointment with a guy named Melvin so they would know to clean it and have it ready. We live two hours away from this dealership so we drove two hours with our two month old daughter and my teenage daughter after I had worked a 12-hour shift just to get to the dealership and the Tahoe was squeaking underneath the hood from what sounded like belts. I took a video of it. Next thing we know, a different individual came out to help us because Melvin was busy but when we looked in the financial/director office, there was about 6 guys laughing, talking and carrying on so we were confused as to how "busy" he actually was. I asked about the noise and the guy said he wasn't sure about what the issue was. Then we get in the vehicle and the blower fan under neath the passenger side vents is making a terrible loud noise which indicates more issues. The salesman says he doesn't know what the issue is with that but that the car was owned by someone that worked at the dealership prior. If I had known of these issues, we never would have came for starters. We get inside to talk to someone above this salesman and they assure me that they will get the issue resolved before we take it. First off, why would a dealership of this size have a vehicle for sale on the lot with these issues? That's super sketchy. I looked past it and said as long as they get it fixed, all is good. My wife really still liked it. She went and test drove it and came back and said she still liked it. I said lets talk numbers. They brought me back a sheet with the "out the door" price and it was $52,000. Tax, title and license on a $41,558 listed price does not come up to that amount. I looked and they had added dealership accessories of over $4,000 to the price. I asked what this was and he said it was the inspection and other dealership cost. When I told him that this was different than was listed and that the disclaimer said the listed price already included everything except tax, title and license, he just said I can go ask but they're not going to take this off probably. I just told him that that is false advertising and I already had a bad feeling due to the vehicle having the issue and that they're going to have to get rid of the added unnecessary cost before I go any further and that we may or may not trade our vehicle in. My wife had checked with the dealership on her trade in which is a 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB 250. Per the dealership with all her information entered correctly, the dealership valued her car at $21,000. We went back and forth and they still were trying to add this extra cost on the sale and then came back and said they would give us $11,000 on our trade. $11,000 after we already checked what it was worth through the dealership. This put us back at this $52,000 mark. I told them we will make a deal with them at the listed price plus tax,title and license and that we will take no less than $17,000 for her car. He came back and said he got told he could do a deal at $45,000 out the door without the trade in. I have never dealt with any dealership as sketchy as this one. These are sleaze balls and whoever the skinny individual was in the financial/director office that was giving him his numbers to present us with needs to be fired immediately. He is costing your company a huge loss in sales if this is how he conducts business with others. I wasted 4 hours driving to and from after a 12-hour shift with our 2-month-old daughter. Past two times I've been here they have no good system of letting you drop off your car I've had to wait 20 mins to just drop it off and I saw the guy serving everyone that came after me and when I said something about it he gave me excuses. Update - don't believe the reply from their marketing , this is the same layout they use on their "offer" sheet . You can find another person with the same layout in the reviews. Don't shop at this ripoff dealership, they earned the bad reviews themselves with their greed. Good job sales team !! 1000%% stealership !!! Used Car listed for $35,000 but when we go do the paper work there was $2500 "options" I said what options? They said we charge a cleanup and detailing fee for all our cars, they keep lowering the "options" price to get me to buy; but hold on that's not even the worst part they tried to pull a quick one on the interest rate , mind you my credit not that bad 770 score , first offer was at 12.99% !!!!! With$3000 down payment , holy moly!! I walked out and then they ran out to me in the parking lot said sir can we negotiate, they dropped down to 9% , but with crazy payments. At the end they dropped all the way down to 3.99% and at that , they already lost my trust. Be careful you young or first time buyers , this dealership is not here to help you. I'm sure they found a loan for me at like 1-2% and tried to pocket the rest!! There are tons of dealerships that will give you a good interest rate , not this one !!! read more

We avoid coming here from prior experiences - pushy salesman who wasted your time playing "games", stuck-up technician, poor quality repair. This last one confirmed it. We needed a new gas cap for our Tacoma & this place is the closest one. I got there & there were 2 ppl waiting in "parts" counter & no worker. The 1st one asked one of the cashiers & she said "just few minutes". After about 5-10 minutes, I asked these 2 guys, if there was anyone helping them, they said no & they had been waiting for about 15 minutes. The disgruntled cashier said, "I don't know where he is", but she didn't bother to call someone. So, I walked along the counters, saw a guy in back office with glass walls who initially acted like he couldn't see us, & finally got his attention to call someone to come to the front. So, the wait continued as he helped the 2 guys in front of me. When I told this staff that we called ahead to make sure the part was in stock, he was surprised that the item wasn't pulled out & placed on counter, as he was skimming through labeled items on counter ready for customer pick-up (hubby was told by the staff who answered the phone that getting item ready with/without payment ahead was NOT possible). After over 20 minutes, I finally got the one gas cap that I needed. So, I mentioned to this disgruntled cashier that she could at least call someone to assist, she unkindly said "we're short handed", "I don't work for parts", "I'm not responsible for them". Oh yeah, BRING CASH, UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY 3% EXTRA for using CC. So, 2 stars because they surprisingly had the part that they said they had, o/w would give 1 star. I don't think it's entirely the staff fault bc their bad service is systemic & well-known. Next time, I would take the extra drive to Toyota Burleson instead. read more
