Our kitchen sink was draining very slowly. Getting it fixed unfortunately cost me 2 days off of…read morework. One day for the anticipated first appointment of which nobody showed and no calls or updates to the customer were made and a second day to make up for the lack of plumber on the first day. There were many calls made by us to Milani to find out if they were going to send anybody for time for the time window of 8-12 or if we would be pushed back yet another day. I think if we were not persistent with our side of communication it could have been a third day before we got help. Once we finally had a plumber, Raffy was very pleasant and respectful. He answered all of our questions and gave good advice to avoid future problems as well. Raffy was a pleasure to work with and it's unfortunate the events and lack of communication that led up to him showing up were not so impressive. I guess this is a good company for emergencies but we got shafted from the list for not being a major problem as it seemed.

I called Milani to repair my furnace and was disappointed with the overall experience…read more On the first visit, the technician confirmed there was an issue and performed some troubleshooting, but wasn't able to determine the next steps without consulting technical support. Since support wasn't available at the time, a second appointment had to be scheduled. When the technician returned, additional troubleshooting was done, including time spent consulting with technical support. A diagnosis was eventually provided, but there was no clear or practical repair path presented. Instead, I was advised that replacing the furnace would likely be the best option. My main concern is that I was charged over $600 for the service calls and ultimately ended up in essentially the same position I started in: knowing the furnace had a problem, but without a repair solution. When a company charges by the hour, there needs to be trust that the time spent is moving efficiently toward a resolution. What I found particularly frustrating is that obtaining a quote for a furnace replacement is typically free. After spending more than $600, the outcome was a recommendation to replace the unit, which made the value of the repair visits difficult to justify. I ultimately decided not to proceed with Milani for the replacement because the experience did not leave me confident that I would receive good value for the cost.

I noticed that my hot water tank started leaking over the weekend and dreaded having to shop for a plumber. I don't do well in a crisis. Before I started looking, my friend recommended Jonathan to take a peek. He was polite and responsive, going over all the details and gave me a quote over the phone so I could confidently compare prices. When I went back to him with a lower quote, he matched it and was even there the same day to replace the tank. Everything was priced as discussed and he worked through the evening before it was all cleaned up and finished. Phewf. I can't recommend him enough. After calling a plumber, you just want everything to work and for the price you agreed to. He was a professional through and through.

Theo was the technician the first visit, and Sia did the recent call, both provided top shelf service. I found them to be on time, accurate, very fair price wise and ultimately highly trustworthy, along with being good people. They won't sell you something you don't need, but also won't just band aid a solution. They will recommend what is necessary to do now with an eye down the road as to what will be your best choice long term. In our case, they could have replaced the blower and other parts on the old furnace for about half the price of a new one (which comes with a 10 year warranty), so the decision was easy to replace the entire unit. Expensive now but don't have to worry about again. Cannot recommend these gentleman and this company enough!
