He requested some information and we discussed options for a repair visit. Before he arrived, I received a written estimate which I agreed to. It was very helpful to have the cost up front! Tyler was communicative, arriving promptly despite it being after hours. He evaluated the situation and solved it quickly. As a bonus, he offered to give us some information about what caused the problem and advice on how to prevent it from happening again. He clearly knows his stuff! We purchased four housings in early October and had them installed in our new kitchen ceiling. Two trims were not available however we were told they were on order from Toronto. Long story short, we had no customer service from Anne, she would not return our calls as to where the trims were or when they would arrive. Just completely ignored us by not calling or making up stories when we called her. I finally spoke to another sales person on December 19th and found that the trims were only now being manufactured in China and would not arrive until the new year. In the meantime our kitchen ceiling was looking as it does in the photo. Well, Leigh R (if you are still with/part owner of Norburn, and or Robinson Lighting, if you are associated with Norburn, I think that you should take a closer look at some of the reviews and take them more seriously. The light fixture I had installed above my island was missing hard to find pieces. I went to Maple Ridge Lighting to see if they had the parts I needed. I spoke with an employee named Scott and he was EXTREMELY helpful. He didn't have the parts I needed right then but he took down my number and called me an hour later to let me know they had them waiting for me. Not only was he prompt and courteous but he also did not charge me for the replacement parts. I would recommend Maple Ridge Lighting to anyone and everyone. The bulb I had brought in for replacement couldn't be replaced for no apparent reason. Staff didn't really answer any questions as to why or where i could go. All of this being after they gave me the wrong one (I brought mine in and she didn't even check the bulbs male end) And had so return it. After several days they had called back with a website I could buy it off. Overall not that pleasant. Will be going elsewhere next time.
