The Mercedes RV is absolutely beautiful, runs quietly, smooth on the road and gets pretty good fuel mileage. Our trip was 7 days so we got to stop in different towns along the way and take in some beautiful Tennessee scenery. We are a family of 4 which was a little tight when we stayed overnight in the Rv, but the rest of the nights we just stayed in hotels. Having room for the kids, able to feed everyone good food and staying overnight by the lakefront without a tent was amazing. If you want to take a family road trip in a comfortable RV, this is the way to go!

Don't go number two in the toilet, salesman said it's prohibited. Bed was comfortable, we were provided with tons of odd pillows and blankets, my favorite was the one that had a lion drawn into it. Refrigerator kept buzzing all night but not too bothersome. Someone needs to check the heater though. All in all it wasn't a bad experience. Sales guy though keeps calling me for some reason!

Service only: in the last year, 83RV has lost a large number of their service technicians and…read moreservice manager. Prior to this unfortunate set of events they were top notch. Now communication and service is unreliable and terrible. On three separate occasions in 2025 I made appointments for service on my Coachman Galleria, only to learn they 1) forgot the appointments were reserved 2) kept the van for over three weeks without even looking at it, nor communicating with me the challenges they faced. In one case they made some repairs to the awning motor/ sensor which kept opening on its own. Less than a month later we find the problem has returned and they 1) still don't know what is broken/wrong 2) proposed charging me $600 a second time - even though the first solution didn't solve the problem. I can understand why service manager Brett, seems overwhelmed. But he simply does not communicate and provides flippant answers that are unconvincing or not fact based. Until they improve staffing, I recommend you stay clear of the service department.

Bob was very easy to talk with and truly cared about our questions . He answered all of our questions with. A smile on his face which help us feel more confident and comfortable picking out the unit we purchased. We agreed on a time and a date to pick up our new trailer and went through a 3 hour orientation with a another person who was also very nice and answer all of questions with a smile on his face I like to think that we have have made a friend with Bob at 83RV . Here were the top annoyances: Air Conditioning - Broke completely in the middle of our July trip, the mechanic said it was quite old and missing some screws. It wasn't possible to fix on the road, so we had no AC for 4 days. Sensors - Many of the key sensors were inaccurate. Ex: black tank level, water level. This proved very challenging for first time RVers like us, who didn't have a feel for how often to empty or refill tanks. Door - The screen door was missing a piece of plastic, which created a hole for bugs to come in and the door itself required a VERY hard closure to latch. My kids could rarely do it themselves. Awning - Not functional; directions in troubleshooting book didn't match type of awning on our RV. Generator - Shut off inexplicably a few times. Mattress - VERY old and worn. Electrical panel - Literally kept closed with duct tape and wouldn't stay closed. Easy to accidentally turn things off. Privacy curtain - Held back with duct tape. Easily knocked open.

I got on the chat line because no one returned my calls and was told it usually takes 3 to 5 days to process a return...funny it only took them one minute to grab the money in the booking process. Now three days before Thanksgiving they are using the "holiday" as an excuse. Folks it is called using the "float" they are using my money at no interest and my credit card is charging interest. They will not refund the money for more than two weeks according to the "support" folks. Color me PO'd in NC

Bandago's customer service tried to find a Mercedes dealer within a reasonable distance of our location to rectify the situation. We didn't want to take any time away from our already tight vacation schedule and the van was operational. I appreciated their efforts to address the situation quickly. In the end, the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. Even with this small snafoo, I would definitely rent with Bandago for our next trip.

We had a great time, our first RV adventure. They were very…read morecordial and the Covid process was not too convoluted. We were a little concerned about actually having an RV to rent when we got there but there was no problem when we picked up. Our trip was good and the checkout process was fine however they could've spent a little bit more time explaining the ends and outs of RVing. Luckily we found lots of information on YouTube about things to expect on our adventure. We ended up returning our RV late on Saturday night as we came home early. We dropped our keys in a lockbox and never heard back from them until we finally got our refund on Tuesday or Wednesday after the return. I would've appreciated after spending nearly $2000 that I would've at least gotten a phone call or an email explaining what they charged me for. We left a $500 deposit and they refunded about 150 of it upon return. I did call on Tuesday to ask if they had received the RV and they said they were in the middle of checking it in nobody phoned me back. We had a number of issues some safety related and I would have thought that they would appreciate getting some feedback which since they didn't return my phone call didn't receive. So I will leave it here. The freezer stopped working during our trip and we lost all our frozen food. There was a check light that went on and I needed to read about how to reset it myself. We tried calling the one 800 number which is supposed to be the rescue number but after 25 minutes on hold nobody picked up. There was also a strange wire that was dangling between the gas and brake pedal and it was quite Dangerous and I would have hoped they could have fix that. All in all a very pleasant trip but quite expensive.
