Under different circumstances this would have been a 1 star review. However, because the manager at this store was so professional and courteous about the problem we had regarding a somewhat serious issue, I give him an A+ rating and 4 stars for the establishment overall. My fiancé left there with tires that were never checked and severely under inflated. 1 of them went flat for no other reason than that the very next morning. I called store manager and he was polite and apologetic. He took the time right away to go back to the video and yes indeed his tech never tested the air pressure in any of the tires. Jeff offered to refund the service in full and to fully address the problem. I suspect this employee may be terminated and that Jeff will be stepping up his training and expectations from his employees from this point forward. Jeff called back within an hour to let me know the check was in the mail! He appreciated the problem being brought to his attention. What more could you ask for. I am recommending this branch to others and we will continue to use their services. It never hurts to review the maintenance checks thoroughly though, as in any garage! Done with this place. Had been going here for almost 6 years with my Honda CRV and have never missed a service. Oil change, rear differential, transmission all done on time everytime and now they're telling me they won't service my transmission because it's over 200k. They told me before as long as the service is done on time they'll continue doing them, they've serviced it twice since it's been over 200k and now they won't touch it. So just stop servicing my cat and set me up for failure, right? Telling everyone I know this place is trash. Just lost yourself a customer. read more

I went to get an oil change and tire rotation, first the lift was at a tilt when they performed the rotation so many things wrong about this! Then after the oil change was completed my car wouldn't start. I was already fuming in my car with the way they did the tires then to have my car not start what BS! I got really pissed asked what were they doing with my car then claimed that my battery was dead. No it was fine, they must have disconnected something then tried to blame me for getting upset and using foul language! Instead of just owning up to the issue. Then top it all off as I drove off into the parking lot my hub cap came off! Will never go back to this location again! Literally the worst! if i could give zero stars i would. arrived today and waited behind the car ahead which was redirected to another bay. so i backed up allowing him to get to the other lane and pulled ahead ready to wait my turn. sitting patiently reading when the associate comes up and tells me the redirected car is ahead of me and would i switch places with it again. meanwhile another vehicle arriving after both of us pulls right into the bay between us. if the staff cannot manage a simple queue can they be trusted to perform an oil change? i u-turned out of the lane and will NEVER return. nice work valvoline epping. read more

Hi, I have had my oil changed at Valvoline on Behive rd Epping NH three times. Each time they list the vehicle mileage at around 15,000 miles less than what shows on your odometer. It seems to be deliberate as it happens every time you get an oil change. If at any time the oil drain plug is not properly installed and your engine is damaged, they can print out a paper that shows you drove 15,000 miles since your oil change even if the damage occurs the day after an oil change. If this isn't outright fraud it is at least unethical to pre- emptivly protect your business at the customer's expense. Apparently they don't have much faith in their employees. When I questioned the manager on this, he gave me a 2nd paper with the correct mileage with "courtesy check" printed on it. Yet on the 2nd paper nothing was listed as being checked. read more

I went for a full synthetic oil change today. I also got my engine air filter replaced and had my tires rotated. Everyone was very nice and professional. Some of the reviews were saying it was a little pricey, you could always leave after you get the price. They give it before anything is done. Unfortunately, everything is going up. Customer Service is not Dead. Brought my car in for an oil change. Techs were pleasant and friendly and helped answer some questions for my upcoming inspection. When I left, the car started running funny so I immediately went back. They couldn't find anything but said to call or come back if there was still an issue. Turns out the oil cover wasn't secured all the way and was spilling oil in the engine compartment. I called as soon as I got home and the sent a tech to my house to inspect it. He brought oil to top it off and told me to come back so they could clean it for me. Went back a few hours later and they did what they said they would do. They put my car on the lift and pulled the skid plates off to clean them and refunded my money for the oil change for my troubles. Nobody is perfect and everyone makes mistakes some times. But it's very rare to find a business that steps up and does the right thing nowadays and Valvoline Instant Oil Change just earned a customer because of their integrity and for handling my situation like true professionals. BEWARE!!! I took my 2022 Volkswagen atlas for an oil change on February 1. The oil change took much longer than expected but the servicemen were very nice and I at least felt like they were being thorough. Little did I know that absolutely was not the case. I paid $115 using a coupon from the website for an "advanced full synthetic European auto oil change". 48 hours later I wake up on a bitterly cold day and try to remote start my car as always, only to be told via the app that it was not possible because of a coolant issue. I thought that was strange, but went to physically start the car only to be greeted by a similar message on the instrumentation. Unfortunately I was traveling (less than 200 miles (11708 at oil change and 11920 and time of coolant issue)) and unable to bring it back and so contacted customer service. To be fair the online chat customer service agent was lovely, but told me the manager, Jeff, would contact me directly. Maybe an hour or so later Jeff calls me. He was not super friendly from the beginning but I explain to him what I was seeing and he instantly says that the problem is that it's cold and things contract. Sure, I say, but there have been far more cold days than this and the car has started just fine not only remotely, but certainly when I physically go to start it. Jeff informed me that he went back and watch the video and says that the cool it was absolutely checked. He basically says he doesn't know what to tell me and I hang up, assuming I have made a mistake. Absolutely not. My coolant was physically checked less than an hour after that phone call and you can see from the photo how well they "checked the coolant". And no, there was no evidence of a leak. Do not go to this location, as they are absolutely liars and scammers, and will not do as they promised. EDIT - the comment below says I have an open customer service case. I don't. They told me that they couldn't help and only the store manager could. As stated above Jeff maintains that they did the work they did not do so that's not an avenue for assistance. Brought my truck in for an oil change. Apparently I was also due for a radiator flush, being over 50k miles. 24 hours later I'm leaking radiator fluid into the cab, all over the passenger side floor. Got it fixed, apparently there was a leak in the "heating core". Addressed said issue with Valvoline. Apparently it's just a coincidence. The mechanic that fixed the truck won't put anything in writing that the flush caused it because investigating the cause of an issue isn't what they do. Based on my research it's consistent with over pressurization. Some "coincidence". Pretty much SOL. Poor customer service from Valvoline and lack of ownership for breaking my ride. read more

HORRIFIC SERVICE/CAUTION- extremely unprofessional. Don't trust them to change oil, screw tires back on, or even be pleasant or smile! Abhorrent Customer Service Ever!!!!!!! One has to wonder when you are CHARGED FOR SERVICES NOT RENDERED- is this a theft of services? It is a Bad business practice. This is our Second Experience at this Valvoline as many months that is far from even Poor or Fair. Two months ago, we took my car in to have tires rotated at Valvoline, yet they could not get the tire off, said they need a special tool? We figured it was just a fluke- training they do advertise tire rotation- so we took it to the dealership, and they laughed as they had no problem and got it off right off. Today we went in to get an inspection and oil change on another one of our vehicles- quick we thought. They said it failed because a fog light was not working, - Okay fie. They offered to replace it for an excessive fee, or we could replace it or we could and bring it back and show the repair and get the inspection sticker. This was what we decided to do. After going to the local parts store and replacing it with a new fog light bulb, we drove back to get the sticker with our receipt, proof of the new light bulb and receipt from a few hours earlier. We planned to get their before the close of business. When we pulled in, we were first told, "BAD NEWS- you are out of luck the inspection person was gone for the day!" Then there he was still there so he came over annoyed as he apparently wanted to leave early. How does a customer know that? He approached our vehicle with an attitude and again indicated this fog light wasn't working and proceeded to argue that he wasn't going to give it a sticker. We inquired is there a level of brightness- what was the issue? We had the new lights packaging and receipt in hand. THE INSPECTION PERSON (who must be excited by this power) maintained it was not on, yet the light was reflecting the garage door! This was puzzling! Did he need glasses? He kept stating that he, "Would not pass it, and if we didn't leave, he would call the police." So, we asked him to call the police, and backed up out of the area Infront of the garage bay to wait. We called the police too. The Police Sargent came, who shared that the light was clearly on (the officers had body cameras on) both said they could see that it was working, and the car would not be pulled over for no fog light, as it was working. The officers also said that the guy at Valvoline indicated we were irate, people. No, we just wanted to document that the lights were working and wait for an officer- so this unprofessional person who worked there could not spew lies! We called corporate- they said they would send out a certificate for an oil change; however, the local store must approve the reimbursement for the inspection fees- and this person would not. Clearly, we then paid for a service we did not receive, and we paid to be treated poorly while having our dinner plans delayed all because this sullen, incompetent poorly trained group of individuals could certify a vehicle as safe? It is truly alarming to think that they represent who can decide if a car or vehicle is safe on the road - Yikes! Observation tell us they would struggle with handling a toddler's Cozy Coupe or Big Wheel. They need training in customer service, professionalism and that is even before we get to the trade of auto mechanics and maybe an eye exam. AVOID this place is you don't want them to take your money (STEAL) , damage a vehicle, waste your time, be rude, belligerent or risk your safety and the investment you have put into your vehicle. One now must wonder if they could not get a tire off due to lack of tools- can we be sure they could put one on so as not to fall off on the highway? How competent are they with oil changes if they cannot see a light bulb - should you trust them to put the oil in your engine? I called at 11am to ask if they did car inspections and they said "Sure come any time before 5:00 no appointment needed" I showed up at 4:15 and they said "it takes 45 min to an hour to do an inspection so we can't take you". Customer service is not something this location cares about. I was spoken to rudely by a female oil technician who was irritated I asked why the wait was so long a couple times. I was there for an inspection and after the car in front of me was pulled in and was still getting its inspection after being in the bay for 1.5 hrs due to a mechanical issue they were attempting to fix in order pass the car i asked again. I was growing a bit impatient but i think as the customer I am allowed to ask how long the wait will be. I was told by the technician that maybe i should go fix the car myself if i could do a better job ...i commented, great customer service...she replied i really don't care! After 1.75 hr the car was finished..i pulled in. I told the inspection technician (who was said to be the manager by the female tech earlier when i asked about the wait) I said that she was very rude to me and he said why and by his tone it was clear that he was already angry with me because she had told him about our conversation outside. He then said you had already asked about the wait so why did you think you could ask again..i said excuse me...he said again you were already told so i dont understand why you thought you could ask again. He made another comment about me minding my own business about the other car taking so long and at that point he was making me very uncomfortable so i said i would be calling corporate when i left and he then told me to get out of the garage..he was not inspecting my car...i asked why? because im calling corporate about the way you treat people and at this point he stood by the garage door angrily saying get out now. I was horrified and also somewhat scared. My gf was on my cell and heard the whole thing, she was equally horrified and will not be returning there either. I don't believe he would have spoken to a man like this but being a 5'2 female i was easy to intimidate. I am still trying to understand how asking a couple times about the wait caused me this treatment. I dont care if i asked 10 times.. I had an appt so that is why I asked why the inspection was taking almost 2 hours...i probably would have asked regardless because it was a very long time but i was trying to figure out if i was going to be able to make my appt. I have gone to this location for years and have always been treated with respect and even above and beyond kindness by the other managers and techs. I have written wonderful reviews in the past. Didn't tell me up front that this may be a problem so they could charge me $41.99 for nothing. Went to my regular mechanic a week later and passed inspection.
