The whole experience felt like old-school pressure tactics: stall, wear you down, change the terms, act surprised when you don't smile and sign. What's wild is they still expected me to accept a deal that got $5k worse after I showed up. That's not negotiating. That's bait-and-switch energy. I walked. I went to another local Toyota dealer and got a deal $1,000 better than the original quote from this dealer -- and the entire experience was smoother, more transparent, and more respectful.
