Love Vintage pieces and this location never let's me down.

Love this location they have a nice selection of clothes for a reasonable price and the Manager Ronda is the best.

LOADS of clothing, more women's than all else but overall very large assortment for all. This store is around 95% soft goods though..... 5% brick-a-brack which is very unorganized. Not a ton of stuff across the board. I could have spent hours here but not too great of pricing as far as thrifting goes. I'm happy with the 6 tops I got but $26 for 6 second hand items is high comparatively. Of course still a value but.... Anyway not a bad experience

I have such a love/hate relationship with this thrift store. Although I have found some gems in the rough, it is practically not even worth visiting without a coupon. From my photos, you can see their overpriced sweaters ranging from $14-16 for one item. To make matters worse, when there isn't a coupon out, this store is a complete DISASTER. The racks are so packed you can't even look at the tags. The back area, where the t-shirts/long sleeve shirts are kept, is basically a trash isle for bikes and other hard goods that completely clutter the back isle. Don't be surprised to find unattended kids running around all over the store, people walking around the store on speakerphone obnoxiously, and crying babies. The three things you absolutely need for a great trip are low expectations, headphones, and a 50% off coupon.

If you're serious about vintage and streetwear culture, Regeneration is top tier. This place isn't…read morejust racks of old clothes -- it's curated heat. Every section feels intentional, from the graphic tees to the retro jackets and rare sportswear finds. You can tell they actually care about quality and authenticity. The vibe inside is effortlessly cool. It's the kind of shop where you lose track of time because you're really digging through pieces and appreciating the details. The music, the layout, the energy -- it all adds to the experience. It feels like a true Detroit staple for anyone into fashion with personality. What makes it stand out is that you're not walking into a cookie-cutter retail store. You're finding pieces that no one else will have. When you step out in something from here, it's a statement. It's original. Now for me personally, the only challenge is fit -- and that's not on them. Because of my height and slim build (and the fact that I'm very particular about how my clothes fit), it can take some patience to find that perfect piece. Vintage sizing runs different, and I'm picky about tailoring and proportions. But when I do find something that fits exactly how I want? It feels like I struck gold. That's honestly part of the fun though -- the hunt. And Regeneration makes the hunt worth it. If you appreciate unique fashion, quality vintage, and pieces that actually stand out, this is the spot. I'll definitely keep coming back to see what new gems hit the racks.

One of my favorite record stores in the area!…read more Pros: great dollar section. They clean all their records before they put them out. Great selection overall. Prices are generally good. Really friendly staff. Adorable dog sometimes wanders the store. Huge 45 section, lots of CDs and DVDs too. The cons: no new arrivals section which means you need to browse the whole store to see all the new stuff. Also, they have a huge .25 cent selection of junk albums. I sometimes like to buy those primarily for the covers for art or display projects. But they write .25 cents in marker on the front of the cover. I have no problem with marking the outer sleeve but do it on the back! It's on Woodward with that really cramped parking. Overall though, it's a great store! Go there!

Leon & Lulu are the owners' dog and cat. I discovered that when I told my associate, Susan, that I…read morewas taking photos for Yelp. I was then given an impromptu tour that I truly enjoyed. The store is full of eclectic and vibrant decor that will speak to the hearts of artists everywhere, ranging from clothing, to furniture, to toys and museum quality gifts. It has a variety of quirky finds that I've never seen before. The intention here is almost like a local gallery exalting each stunning piece of art, no matter how small. The pieces ranged from the very tiny porcelain dog, which was about the size of your thumb, to the very large bears, that were furry and taller than me. Colorful, diverse art dotted the walls and were displayed in all different living room themes for all different tastes and styles of home. This was a clever idea. You could picture the decor in your own home. "Buy local" is the intention here and deteriorating properties were bought up by the owner and given a stunning facelift to elevate the community. This was a closed down roller rink. There was also a cinema next door that turned to a gift shop and off beat eatery. The unique history of each is preserved in the original artifacts throughout. Being that this is art focused and unique, don't have the expectation of Walmart prices. Of course you're getting one-of-a-kind quality pieces that will make your heart sing when you see your selected art displayed proudly in your home. Leon & Lulu also will give you a discount for your birthday if you share that information. If you're in Ferndale, Clawson or Detroit, put this store on your must visit list.

If you're looking for something unique, funny, fun, or more of a traditional purchase then this place is for you. We were able to purchase some very cool gifts for friends and family that were tailored to their personality. The shop's staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed them and they were also pretty available when we needed someone even though they were a bit busy. As for the prices I would put them on par for a place that sells the selection that this place has. You can find some items that are cheaper (not cheaply made), and other items that are pretty high (saw a pillow for around $300 ). I will definitely be putting this place on my list of shops to go for the next time I need to shop for friends and family!
