Gil and Harald are the best! You want a straight body and awesome paint job, Gil and Harald are the answer!!!!

I've had my FJ40 back from paint and body a few months now. I've been all over it putting all the pieces back together, so impressed with body work and paint job!!!

Jeff and his crew repaired this side of my 2018 Ford Explorer, to include replacing the tail light. It took only 2 days.

They quoted $565 to fix them (front brakes pads and rotors. When we went to pick it up the price changed to $713!!! We refused to pay the extra amount. Same car driven only a few hundred miles more started to make a grinding noise. Drove it there and we asked them to find out what was making the noise. Also told them NOT TO DO ANY FURTHER WORK UNLESS AUTHORIZED. They wanted $4,500 to replace the transmission! What? We refused. They then demanded a diagnostic fee of $125 and changed that to $150 which we didn't have and are still holding the car hostage until we pay it! BEWARE! These people are local but they run a scam business and from the other one star reviews we would rate this business as minus 5 stars if we could. In the years we have been doing Yelp this business has the worst reviews I have ever seen with the replication of very similar tactics and treatment. Our bad for not looking at the Yelp reviews. We try to build businesses up even if not perfect we try to find something positive. This place has no redeeming qualities! They seem to be greedy and abusive to their customers or X customers. Run do not walk away from this place.

They are reliable and saved me from a 12,000.00 unnecessary repair the other shop had quoted me. Ask for Lucas Collier, he's your man if you are looking for a truly genuine repair man. We can't THANKYOU enough and will be sending all our business your way and sharing your shop with everyone. Please read below (if you have time but I highly recommend you take the time to read) what I had to post as a review on the other shop because this is why we love Champion. The whole staff there is wonderful. Thankyou Lucas, Blue and team again!! Below is the review I had to post on Lambs Automotive in Buda and you can read for yourself why we love Champion Auto in San Marcos ... Lambs Auto Repair Review *WARNING* First time bringing my car in here since it changed from McSpaddens to Lambs in Buda and wow I am SUPER disappointed. I brought my car in due to a gas smell it was giving- and for them to do a diagnostic test to see what may be the issue. Mind you my car has never over heated or my check engine light was never on. They called me after running a couple tests saying I had two options because they believed I had a broken head gasket. They said I needed a brand new motor For 12,000.00 or they were going to need to replace head gasket and surrounding parts for around 6,5000.00. I know nothing about cars so I call my husband in a panic. Thank God for my husband knowing things about cars. It just didn't seem possible my car needed all that work. So we took it from Lambs and found another shop recommended by some friends. Champion Auto Repair in San Marcos. HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking your car there instead. They are honest, experienced and do quality work. Ask for Lucas Collier, was so impressed with him. They ran all the tests and found NO broken head gasket! Turns out my jeep just needed a little tune up ( new spark plus etc) and more importantly IF my head gaskets needed replacing ,as Lambs had said, this new shop quoted us 2800.00 for the EXACT same repair. Doing research we found Lambs was BEYONd over charging us and charging us for repairs that weren't even needed!! feel pretty taken advantage of, and would still be trying to figure out a way to take a loan out to be able to pay for a repair at Lambs that was never even needed. Definitely won't be trusting this shop. Lesson learned 1. Always do research on cost of parts and 2. Always get a second opinion. *Also noticed that all the five star reviews are actually from the previous ownership which was McSpaddens. So do your research!! (512) 938-1122

I called Corey at Hasting's & discussed an overheating issue and a few other items I wanted done to my Truck. He seems very knowledgeable and agreed to do the work but it was going to be a couple of weeks before he could get to it. I was ok with that knowing that knowing that he is a small shop and has a tremendous amount of diesel owners needing work on their Trucks. Part of the job was to flush the Cooling System and replace the Water Pump and Thermostat. After I got my truck back I crawled up under it and started checking out for leaks as can happen after hose clamps are removed. I did notice a small leak where the lower Radiator Hose attaches to the Engine Block. I was able to tighten the Hose Clamp & that resolved that issue. I texted Corey a couple of pics of the leak along with a pic of a very rusted lower Radiator Hose Clamp asking how they could do a complete Cooling System Flush without removing the Lower Radiator hose and why his Tech had not replaced the rusted Hose Clamp during the process, as it was severely corroded. He apologized for the leaking Hose Clamp and gave a long explanation on how "they test the pressure and vacuum test the entire system after performing this type of work," along with stating that "it allows us to till out the system without having to burp the thermostat. We let it sit for 15 minutes before filling. If the gauge does not drop then we fill with coolant." A few weeks later I was returning home from a 450 mile trip pulling a Camper down to the Coast. About 50 miles from home I smelled the odor of Coolant and noticed my Coolant temp Gauge was climbing. It was a Holiday weekend and all Auto Parts Stores were closed. I opened my hood and found that there was a hairline crack in the upper Radiator Revisor adjacent to where the upper Radiator Hose attaches and it was spewing coolant all over my engine. After some assistance from a Mobile Mechanic I was able to get home. The next morning I called Corey regarding the issue. He was very busy, as usual, so the conversation was brief, with me asking him to call me later when he had some time to discuss and possibly repair for me. Around 4:30pm the same day he had not called so I called and left a message asking for him to call me at his earliest convenience. That was almost three weeks ago and still no call. So, I decided to replace the Radiator myself. Upon removing the Radiator I found that his tech(s) had not installed the Radiator Fan Shroud properly. Neither one of the lower tabs were inside of the securing slots. Also, while doing my own Cooling System Flush I could tell that his shop had not removed the Cooling System Block Plugs that also drain the residual Fluid in the Engine Block. This procedure is clearly stated, even in the "Haynes Repair Manual" for my Truck. On a side note, the Factory and the Haynes Service Manuals state to flush the Cooling System as many as 3X with distilled water to insure it is completely free of debris and contaminants. When I drained my Coolant it was VERY brown and dirty so I can only assume that they did not follow this procedure. In addition I am unable to determine if the hairline crack was a result of overtightening the Hose Clamp to the Radiator or excess pressure buildup or fatigue and brittleness due to being the original Radiator. After paying over $1000 for this part of the job I would have gladly paid for them to replace the Radiator had they taken their time to fully inspect everything and do it right the first time. The lack of paying attention to details such as not replacing the rusted hose clamp, and not installing the Radiator Fan Shroud correctly are not what I expected and certainly not what I paid for. I expected a QUALITY job and got much less. I am sure Corey and his Crew have done much good quality work for many diesel Truck owners but I got less that that and no response from him after my message. I believe Corey has too much on his plate and not enough qualified Technicians to perform good quality work. I will not be using them for ANY repairs on my truck in the future. Good luck Corey. You don't need my $$$$ anyway. Beware of quality issues if you use his services.
