I made an appointment, which was very easy and quick, and Carlos took it in. He recommended reprogramming it, not replacing, got the problem corrected for about $800. Everything is now running smoothly. In addition he pointed out an issue with my battery connection, and I was able to take my car back to the quick oil change place I use and get them to fix it for free. I understood the process, but the representative began pressuring me to make a decision. I calmly explained that I already understood the vehicle's problem and was not trying to challenge or offend anyone. He still became rude and defensive, told me to fix the car myself, told me to take it somewhere else, and then hung up on me. Hostile, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional. The crew here worked with me to source the parts I needed at a price I could afford and stuck with the problems until they were resolved. These guys are direct and perhaps more unfiltered than you may find at other shops. They are also funny and passionate about getting your car back on the road working right. They laid out a few options for me with or without using my insurance, and since I had a low deductible we ran it through the insurance. They were great with communicating with my adjuster and even communicated ahead of time that my return date would be 2 days later than originally anticipated, which I really appreciated. I dealt with Arthur and Belinda and they were both fantastic. I even had them do an oil change while it was there and they washed and vacuumed it before returning it!
