I hired Curtis for a commercial tile job. He came out promptly and gave me a free quote. He also helped me level and grind the existing flooring and installed HardieBacker to install wall tiles as well. Overall the communication, attention to detail, work ethic, and end result was all positive. He also helped me rent and pick up tools and materials to get the job completed. We received replies, exchanged information, measurements photos of floor photos of new tile that we wish to use. We received a quote and was told they could come out and start the next day in between eight and 8:30 AM he gave me information to pick up the mortar and grout .. That morning. I received a text stating he would be late once he arrived he looked at the floor and said that he would have to charge more due to the fact that I wanted a strip down the middle. I referred him to the Photos and explain that I sent him the photo of both the towels and all the information and measurements, but if he needed to charge me more, how much would it be? He did not give me a price he went on to look around as if he was trying to find other things to increase the price.. let's be clear all information measurements and photos were sent he went on to say he had another guy coming to do an estimate this bathroom is 8 x 12 the stall is 3 x 5 not big at all we waited for the other guy to come out. He looked at me and said well he's the boss. I don't make any decisions this further confused me I did not understand why he called this guy in and now this guy is saying he makes no decisions and he also seem to be confused. I believe this company low balls you just to get in and then. We're going in increasing the price when he seen there was no way to really increase the price he wanted out I would not refer tile pro. read more

I gathered 4 bids before taking Curtis. One of them included a tub replacement tho I didn't want that. Rose Remodeling only does tub replacement: $15,500. The 3 others without the tub replacement, just doing the tile and replacing shower/tub plumbing $12,500, $10,000, $9000. I didn't want to use Home Depot, terrible reviews but I could see they were quoting $8 ti l0/sq foot. There had to be someone out there who was way less. Curtis was way less. I had to get a plumber but that was $650 inc all the hardware. Curtis was $1800 for labor...amazing. But what was more amazing was the kind of exactitude and focus he and his partner, Mark, had. Everything had to be perfect every step of the way. Sometimes that's a trait that could make you crazy but not when it comes to tile. I got maple ribbon tile. Many people online complained of it not liking it because whoever did it for them didn't line it up. You can look up Kenridge maple ribbon tile blog on Houzz. Curtis lined it up perfectly. The tile day was 11 hours. I was away that day. I came home at 9pm just as he was finishing. I felt badly that he was there for so long as he told me in the am he thought he'd be finished by 5. I knew it was because the tile I chose was difficult, so difficult. He told me he had to make a lot of cuts. I ended up giving him more money because it was ridiculous how much he put into it for what I was paying. He's straight ahead, less money than most anyone you'll find out there, and the quality of work could not be better. The bathroom is completely transformed. read more

This tile company needs to be advertised more because its always that diamond in the rough that turns out to be the finest of all the gems out there. Before I called Valley Tile Pros, I randomly went on a screening on all of the tile advertisements that flood the streets or first page when you do a web search, and I was either not impressed or was shocked at the gouging prices but that wasn't the case with Valley Tile Pros. I won't give the exact quote they gave me because everyones situation is different but Curtis and his team saved me a bundle and I can't wrap my head around the layout of the glass mosaic that they set. I was asked if I had a particular style in mind for the bathrooms but I honestly never gave that part much thought so I asked Curtis if he was able to improvise and man that guy blew my head away with what his crew and he did.
