Received a phone call from Tommy Builders about my request, and met Ben who seemed genuinely concerned about the leaks and noticeable internal water damage - offered to repair our roof. They worked with us to see what they could do since I'm a disabled veteran on a fixed income. They staged what they needed for the work, and a pair of workers came over the next day to fix my roof. It wasn't nearly as noisy, and our roof managed to hold up their workers (a fear that nearly stopped us from agreeing to obtain their assistance) as I worried about the potential of someone falling through since the roof seemed damaged due to the water. Instead, they were able to fix the roof in a timely manner, seemed to genuinely care about our situation, and worked with us to get everything done, from financing to repair. As long as we have no leaks - Tommy Builders will retain their stars; if, however, during the rainy season we have further leaks... well, I can always add to this review.

I had a great experience working with Tommy Builders. From the beginning, they were professional,…read moreresponsive, and easy to work with. The communication throughout the project was excellent, and they kept me updated on what was being done and what to expect next. The quality of the work really stood out to me. The crew was hardworking, respectful, and paid attention to the details. They showed up ready to work, kept the job site organized, and took pride in the finished product. What I appreciated most was that they actually listened to what I wanted and made sure everything was done properly instead of just rushing through the job. There were a few things that came up along the way, but they handled them professionally and worked with me to get everything taken care of. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the results and would absolutely recommend Tommy Builders to anyone looking for a reliable construction company. Great communication, great workmanship, and a team that genuinely cares about doing a good job. I would definitely use them again for future projects!

Adam Jones was out point of contact and he was great. He responded to all our concerns, although we did not have but one or two. He went above and beyond in responding to our calls. I was put in touch with Alex, who explained everything I could expect start to finish including best-case through worst case scenarios. He was very thorough and didn't sugar-coat the possible expenses. With my eyes wide open I greenlit the work and never regretted it. As it turned out, contamination was detected but not so bad that the tank and soil had to be removed. It took a total of four or five visits of two people each (except the last visit which required but one person to fill the tank in with an inert material and cover it with dirt.) Hard to see the area was ever disturbed. It's important to note that everyone that came out was professional, got right to work, stayed working, and gave me no sense of attitude. I regret not capturing their names as they were all great. Of equal importance is that Alex was also professional, knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and kept me in the loop step by step. Literally. That said, there were no deficits throughout from service to execution and I can HIGHLY recommend Soil Solutions for this type of work. Based on my experience, you just can't go wrong.

We paid the full amount, but afterward there were continued problems with completing the work and repairs, along with additional damage caused during the project. We paid $47,000 for a large-scale job, yet they continued to make errors on a daily basis while attempting to conceal them from us. One of the most alarming examples was that they installed Window! flashing across the entire roof. (David's Idea!). I can't even count how many times I had to clean nails out of the street and garden, as well as oil stains from the driveway and street, after they left. One of the workers was pulled into the gutter machine right in front of my eyes. Thankfully, another worker managed to shut the machine off in time. The workers from this company are vulgar and aggressive. They reacted aggressively when I asked them not to damage my property, because they destroyed many things during the project. I was only able to learn the truth from the security cameras because they lied to me when I asked what had happened. The owner of the company did not respond to the aggressive behavior of the workers, even though we informed him about it many times. The company owner should ensure that workers have access to proper restroom facilities. At the beginning of the project, there were none, and one of the workers relieved himself in my yard--in plain view of me!

Do you want to hire the "Rock Stars" of contractors? Do you want the job done quickly, on time,…read moreand at a fair price? Do you want quality? Cascade Roofing just gave me the wow factor. From the initial bidding process with Nels, I learned more about roof care, maintenance, installation, and science than from any other roofing company. Cascade wasn't the cheapest, but they also weren't the most expensive. Quite frankly, my bid was a couple thousand cheaper than I thought it would be. Nels was honest, forthright, and probably told me more than a salesman should. But I like that...it's called trust. I was comfortable with Nels. Cascade does all work with salaried employees...not subbed out like other roofers. This means the guys on the job have careers, not jobs, and they act like it. No cussing, no loud music, no slacking off. Everybody was on time, and the crew worked their butts off like no skilled craftsmen I'd ever seen before. Contractors get a bad rap, but these guys came through. Clearly they ate Wheaties for breakfast, because these guys worked like champions. I heard a great deal of laughter throughout the day, showing that the workers all have a strong rapport with each other. My roof went on in one day. That's right, a contractor on site at my home for ONE DAY. They cleaned up the work site, and I was left with a great looking home. Oh, and here's a nice perk....I get to pay for a portion of the job with a credit card...with no surcharge...and earn some airline miles!
