I was needing a state inspection and had a terrible experience with a different company (see my previous review) and found Valley Ranch Automotive right here on Yelp. I called the day prior to see if they take appointments (they do not) and I was pleasantly surprised how nice the employee was on the phone. First good sign! I went today and parked. As I was walking into the garage customer entrance, a nice man asked if he could help me. I explained that I needed a state inspection on my Tesla and he directed me to pull to the first bay. Once I did this. I followed him into the little office. Another employee greeted me warmly and asked how I was. Wow, what a difference from the other experience! I recognized his voice and thanked him for being so nice when I called the day prior for how kind he was. I was in and out in a flash. No telling me my brakes were bad, I needed new tires- no BS. They treated me respectfully, which is always a rarity when it comes to females walking into an auto garage. Will I return? I've been here in the past for oil changes as well as small fixes. The service here is wonderful and these are honest good people who want to help you. They are super convenient in a pinch and don't nickel and dime you for every little thing. Super reasonable prices, and they are very skilled at what they do. They have been around for YEARS and the community relies on them for their integrity and expertise in repairs. DO NOT COME HERE! I experienced the worst service at wheel works 2 off of MacArthur. The workers here lack any respect/customer service/auto repair skills and they will PURPOSELY BREAK YOUR CAR PARTS. I took my car in for an oil change and inspection and they BROKE my center console and denied touching anything inside my car. They upcharged my license plate light replacement to $50 and THREATENED ME that they would NOT PASS my inspection if I did not pay it. They also left the oil cap OFF after they performed my oil change which caused oil to leak EVERYWHERE in the engine which nearly damaged my entire car and it would not surprise me if they did this on purpose as well. I went back to confront the workers and they claimed they did not work on my car, they were extremely aggressive approaching me and they began raising their voices. I confronted the manager and he rudely told me "what do you want me to do about it?" and he walked away. I WILL NEVER LET THEM WORK ON MY CAR AGAIN AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THESE SCAMMERS. read more

Laughable how bad they are at being crooks, which they are. Pulled in this morning for an oil change and asked the price with synthetic oil. After getting the quote I produced a coupon for $25 off any service. The "service manager" got visibly troubled by this. A few minutes after they took my keys he resurfaced after talking to the tech and said that my car was actually going to require an additional two quarts and it would be $x more. After arguing he admitted that he was wrong and that the original quote contemplated that amount of oil. At that point I decided to watch the process to make sure I didn't get lower quality oil. While They did use the correct stuff the tech put in only 5 quarts rather than the other two additional quarts! I waited until the tech was done before raising it with the service manager who had obviously told the tech to screw me. He got the same look on his face when I presented the coupon and went back out to tech. I watched them discuss it for 2-3 minutes and then the service manager came back and said that the tech "wasn't done yet". He then proceeded to put the last two quarts in (presumably the entire quarts but I didn't inspect). When checking me out the service manager couldn't even look me in the eye because he knew was caught. In sum, buyer beware at this place. read more

Everything was completed in the estimate time and affordable and no one was trying to upsell me or try to scare me into getting more services bc i was a woman. These people are scammers. Do not take your vehicle here. I came here for a bulb change which was a mistake. I simply needed the low beam changed which I clearly stated and it clearly states on my vehicle. I have a C300 Mercedes and since I also have a vagina, mechanics must equate that to being stupid. First, I pulled up and asked if they change bulbs but obviously they were too busy with their conversation to walk over to address my question which should have been a flaming red flag. This kid tells me that it was cost $90 to change the bulb. I already had the bulb and the Walmart to the street has the bulb for $44 for a two pack so I'm not quite sure where the $90 came from. Long story short, he "changes" the bulb, however the light doesn't come on. I checked the low and high beams in front of them. Same message, nothing change. The owner comes out and says there's a problem with my wiring and maybe a fuse. Really???!! He apologizes and charges me $40. Right after this exchange, I take my car to another European garage, where I should have gone initially. He is working on other cars but comes out to help me. He lifts my hood and asks me where I took my car which I tell him. I could see the eye roll. He told me that they never changed the bulb, but I had the empty container to show. He said they scammed you. It was never changed. He asked if I was charged in which I told him I was charged $40. In less than 10 minutes, He changed my bulbs and didn't charge me a dime. He said get out of here and get your money back. I returned to the this establishment with lights on demanding a refund. The owner comes out running his mouth again saying it was a mistake and the mechanic changed the wrong bulb! What!!!!!! I repeatedly stated which lights were out. My car even states which ones are out! He was IN my car and saw the message and told me that rewire BS. So you want to get an attitude with me because you want to cheat people yet state it was a mistake. The mistake was going to your incompetent garage. I received my refund but I hope to God no one goes here not even for gas. They should be ashamed of themselves and their practices. read more

Went here for my Oil Change. The Service was quick and the rates are reasonable. Took my friend's car for some major repair. The chain automotives quoted anywhere from 1000$-750$ to change the whole unit. Mr. Karim explained the issue to us and advised cheaper alternatives before changing the whole thing. In the end we changed the whole thing still costing less than what we would have paid elsewhere. Their service is great and a place i would go for all my auto needs. Definitely Recommend. read more

I went in during my lunch hour to see if I could get help with my wheels. I knew the process wouldn't take that long but didn't expect to get my problem solved at that time. However, they asked me to pull up to a bay to get a quick look. I told the new person that was helping me the issue and he said it'll be done in 10 minutes. With 10 minutes and it was done.
