DO NOT COME HERE! I experienced the worst service at wheel works 2 off of MacArthur. The workers here lack any respect/customer service/auto repair skills and they will PURPOSELY BREAK YOUR CAR PARTS. I took my car in for an oil change and inspection and they BROKE my center console and denied touching anything inside my car. They upcharged my license plate light replacement to $50 and THREATENED ME that they would NOT PASS my inspection if I did not pay it. They also left the oil cap OFF after they performed my oil change which caused oil to leak EVERYWHERE in the engine which nearly damaged my entire car and it would not surprise me if they did this on purpose as well. I went back to confront the workers and they claimed they did not work on my car, they were extremely aggressive approaching me and they began raising their voices. I confronted the manager and he rudely told me "what do you want me to do about it?" and he walked away. I WILL NEVER LET THEM WORK ON MY CAR AGAIN AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THESE SCAMMERS.

Shop is good. Quick service on oil change within 30 mins and even inspection They were even able to fix front light signal/minor body repair for a reasonable price.

I've always known Valvoline Instant Oil Change as the place where you pull up, wait in your car for…read morea few minutes to get a speedy oil change, and then off you go. That's what Valvoline used to be. Now, it's nothing short of a gamble as to how long your wait will be as you sit behind what is essentially someone else's auto dealership service visit. The Valvoline wait problem is real. 45+ minute wait for a single oil change - it's inexcusable. It's easy to think this location's technicians are either incredibly slow, selling too much - or both. I really believe though that this is a situation in which Valvoline, Inc. can't get its branding and workflow right and that locations like this are at the mercy of having to sell more services for profit while in the process sacrificing the speed Valvoline promises as a brand. It makes sense: Offer an 18-point service check, find other vehicle issues, and upsell. But that's not who you've been as a brand, and continue to promote yourself to be, Valvoline. The name of your location is, "Valvoline Instant Oil Change." So you make more money with more repair services and I'm all for getting work done so I'm safe behind the wheel - but that's not why I go to Valvoline. I go there to get an oil change quickly and get out. There is no reason why I should choose Valvoline for extended service repairs like flushes given that auto dealers and other auto repair shops have stepped up their waiting areas with more comfort and amenities. In the amount of time it took yesterday to get my oil change at Valvoline sitting in my car, I could have booked online with my auto dealer and gotten multiple things fixed while relaxing comfortably in its waiting area with coffee and snacks, or working on my computer being productive with high-speed internet. I still need some other service done according to my Valvoline check but after the wait for the oil change and then the service itself, I had no interest. The guy in front of me got an oil change, new filter, and, lo and behold, there was something wrong with his gas tank knob! I hope they got as much money from him as they could while the rest of us waited and waited and waited. Michael, my service technician, acknowledged the wait, but didn't apologize for it, nor did he offer any make-good. I'm sure that's because he didn't think there was anything wrong - it was just busy. That is the problem: His job is to sell and fix no matter how long it takes. Hopefully, the Valvoline bosses above him will stop getting their wires crossed and help him do a better job of that with branding, and workflow and logistical changes. Soon - if not instantly. Also..how did an oil change in general go from $19.99 to $80 in, like, 5 minutes?

Scared…read moreshe'd breakdown on the way into work, she asked Driver's Edge in Irving, Texas to diagnose the sound. Driver's Edge put together a comprehensive inspection report listing items that required immediate attention and items that were more recommendations. The quote was fairly pricey for the "required" items so she asked me to take a look. I called Trey at Driver's Edge and focused more on the "required" items walking through each item that he suggested required immediate attention. I agreed with him on suspension issues and alignment but questioned the severity of the valve cover leak and the urgency of replacing the rear deck brake light. Trey made it a point to say that the replacement brake light itself was only $7 but the labor to replace the bulb was fairly extensive and was expected to take about 2 hours for the bulb replacement alone. Being busy myself and just wanting to ensure my daughter was safe driving the car, I agreed to all "required" service items which totaled about $3300 in repairs. My daughter's car was done same day and while she was driving home I looked up how difficult it was to replace the brake light. Surprisingly enough, a YouTube video revealed that replacement of the bulb was extremely simple and only took a few moments. I texted Trey to voice my concern that he mislead me and it's been radio silence (after a few attempts of me reaching out). Now I'm questioning whether any of the other services he suggested were really needed. If you value honesty and integrity in car repairs, this place is not for you. If they flat out lie about a brake light replacement, what else are they misleading people about? Here's the YouTube video....does this look like it's 2 hours of labor? Driver's Edge robbed me of $251.49 for this. Shame on me for trusting Trey but in our busy lives, we sometimes need to trust that what we are being told is accurate. The mechanics were very insistent that I need to stay and fix these issues. They quoted me more than $3000 for the parts and labor cost. Being sceptical, I checked my car camera footage, and saw that the mechanics spent 6-7 minutes looking around the front hood, and then proceeded to chat in the back for the rest of the 1.5 hours. P.S. I went to another auto shop for inspection after. They told me there weren't any issues and that there were just faulty readings on the car sensor.

My 2019 Camry was barely driven prior to me buying it since it was 6 years old with less than 40k miles so they were right. I went to Brakes Plus - Coppell today, 4/11/2026, and told them the pads may need to be replaced because of the squealing. They came back with an estimate of over $500.00 stating that the rotors needed to be turned due to a glaze and that all 4 pads need to be replaced. I laughed at the 4 guys and said they don't the need rotor turned, they are not warped. They then came back with another price of over $300. I laughed again and said they are lying, so they showed me the rotors and pads. There were still plenty of pads left and the car was safe to drive. They also tried to point out a slight color difference on the rotors. At no point did they say that the rotors were warped. Now they came back and said that they were just trying to stop the squealing because that was my complaint. I asked them, would they pay over $500 to stop the squealing when the car is perfectly safe to drive? They didn't answer that question. Take your car here at your own risk, most likely the good reviews on here really did need new pads or rotor replacement or rotors turned but how would the customers know that. They are dishonest people, at least at this location.
