Valley Pacific Landscaping, under the direction of Matt, remodeled my 1,000 sqft backyard. It was a pleasure to work with Matt and his team. I was very pleased with the results. I requested estimates from three landscaping companies. After receiving a consultation from Matt, I felt very comfortable giving my business to his company. I felt he was very genuine and someone I could trust. The plan he suggested met my needs. His estimate was also the lowest price. It was easy for me to decide to move forward with Valley Pacific. Valley Pacific's office staff were a pleasure to work with. They helped work through setting up the contract despite me requesting a few changes to the plan during the process. They also put together plans for me to submit to my HOA. The work itself was performed efficently over a couple of weeks. First was the demolition of the existing contents of the back yard: several trees, plants and pavers were removed. Next was levelling out the yard, installation of drainage and pavers. A new fence was installed. Finally, the trees and plants I requested were planted. There were some small hiccups on the way, such as small damage to our gate from their equipment. Matt noticed the damage before I said anything and arranged for the damage to be promptly fixed. The only work they didn't do was paint and seal the fence they installed. My neighbor and I assumed it would be painted white because we requested that the fence match the style of the existing white fence per HOA requirements. Matt told me they don't offer painting services. Painting wasn't specified in the contract so probably wasn't accounted for in the estimate either. I went ahead and painted the fence myself. It's a shame they came short here, because they delivered on every other aspect of the project. Overall, the results were very good, Matt and his team were very accommodating, the price was reasonable and the project was completed on schedule. They are very deserving of five stars. I would be more than happy to recommend Valley Pacific to anyone that needs landscaping services. read more

I called Valley Pacific Landscape in early October 2017 for a quote for paver installation in my backyard. Matt came to my house and checked out my yard. After taking photos and measurements, he told me he would email me an estimate. I waited for the estimate and it never came. I thought maybe he got my email address wrong so I called and left a message explaining all this. I never got any response of any kind. No emails. No phone calls. Thanks for wasting my time. I love my backyard. Matt took my pinterest pictures and rough sketch and made exactly what i wanted, but better. I shopped around with about 10 companies. He is the only one that came back with a reasonable estimate with explanation of cost and pictures to prove he could do the job. It was difficult finding someone in the inland empire that could do a modern look. The whole team was very professional. Although I got more things done to my yard than the yard I wanted to emulate. The qoute was thousands of dollars cheaper. And I actually had my side yards and walkway in front done too. I will be definitely be using them again . As a single woman, I have had problems with contractors being unprofessional and trying to get over on me. I got nothing but straight forward explanation of estimates, written contract, proof of license and bonded, all corrections done without asditional cost, and directions for upkeep. Even after I paid in full, Matt and his team would come out to help me with things, for example setting my light timer. Truly above and beyond. After getting 3 estimates, we chose Valley Pacific Landscape for a complete remodel of both our front and back yards. While their pricing was pretty much in the middle of the estimates we received, we chose Valley Pacific much in part due to Matt's easy-going nature and flexible approach to our project. We felt he was sincere, trustworthy and would ensure our satisfaction. He absolutely did not let us down! His hardscape crew (led by Israel) and his landscape crew (led by Adrian) were some of the hardest working people we have ever seen. The project began in late July and took about 3 weeks to complete. Due to some physical constraints, our side yards did not allow for heavy equipment to make it to the back yard; however, they accomplished everything they needed to through pure manual labor. We replaced our old, tired concrete driveway with pavers, replaced the grass with new sod and sprinkler system, added rocks and new plants around the perimeters with drip irrigation, a new paver patio in the back, new sod with sprinklers, drainage from back to front, new plants and ground cover around the perimeters with drip irrigation, accented by a rock area with stepping stones that match the pavers. We have received so many compliments from our neighbors and we, ourselves, could not be happier with the end result. Don't waste your time with Valley. They came out, took measurements and were told that a design will be sent to us in a week. Well we heard nothing for two weeks. Send a Yelp inquiry to see where we're at... heard back from Kelly right away. Then we waited for the design plan that they promised and finally received it. We had a few minor changes that we wanted to make before we can sign a contract (replacement of cheap plants...and mulch near brand new pool?) and still heard nothing back (sent in writing via email) about the changes requested. Over a week has passed and did not even receive a response that their working on it or even acknowledged receiving my emails. For sure not giving them 20K for such poor customer service! read more

Matt and his VPL team just completed landscaping work at our home, and we are very pleased with the results. VPL removed an old, weedy yard, installed new sprinklers, prepped the ground, then laid new bermuda sod. They sectioned around the sod with decomposed granite, leaving everything neat, clean, and functional. We also had VPL remove a large fig tree stump and roots, and several smaller stumps. For the entire yard, we replaced full sprinklers with drip lines. For our front yard, VPL installed drip lines, including to potted plants. The last step was installing artificial turf in a small, shaded, fenced area, just not conducive to plants. ALL of the work was done professionally, and the VPL team cleaned up every day, never leaving a mess behind. We have always been proud of our yard but with water conservation we decided to put in drought tolerant plants/shrubs in front yard. We spoke to a few landscapers but they didn't get it (no imagination) but as soon as we talked with Matt & Kelly Ann there was no question that they were our choice!! True professionals; very friendly & Matt has a vision when he takes on a project. We didn't want a desert scape but plants of various sizes & textures & colors. Matt suggested to put in a drip system which we did & also in backyard planters. Matt came out with his workman & gave us a design with plant suggestion. There were a couple of plants that I really wanted so he included those but all of his choices were excellent. We also added some lighting. The result was better than we ever expected.
