Dr Zardo is the best. She is thorough, explains what she is doing in layman terms. Dr Zardo takes the time to insure I understood what she is explaining. The staff is friendly and helpful. I've been coming here for four years and up until now, I haven't had a problem. The staff is usually professional, timely, and organized. Upon checking in, I reaffirmed the costs of my services that day, making sure everything was a go, and it was. After my appointment was over, they left me a bill that was nothing like the costs we had discussed prior to the appointment, and that's because my policy had changed. The newer secretary who had checked me in had made a mistake by quoting me last years benefits instead of the current year. I understand that my policies change often, but please take the time to actually verify them so that this type of stuff doesn't happen... It's super embarrassing for me and for you! She lied about quoting me the wrong information although it was crystal clear she did- you could even see the panicked, guilty look on her face. Alas, I was still stuck with the bill. After years of being a loyal and pleasant customer, I'm really disappointed this happened. I really love their optometrists, and they are very organized. Hopefully this isn't going to happen again. read more

This place has inexperienced staff. They don't seem to understand what no line bifocals are. I paid $998 for glasses that were made wrong twice. Then they are asking me to pay another $998 to make them again when it's their fault. Why would I get bifocals with the same prescription on the top and bottom. It's unprofessional to blame the customer and to raise your voice when speaking to someone. This is place has the worst service I've ever seen. I will never come back. read more

Came in recently for my annual eye exam. Just as I remembered, the staff was welcoming and had bright smiles on despite it being 8am the morning after Xmas. They were extremely efficient (I was seen for contact fitting as well) and had me all finished in an hour. My family has been coming here to see Dr. Kennedy for as long as I could remember because the staff not only takes the time to know you but will work with your insurance to provide you with the best services and care. Had to visit eye dr again for an annual check up. Going to Dr. Kennedy's Office is fun. I enjoy the people and the atmosphere and Dr. Kennedy always has a little time to talk about more than my eyes. My doctor is Dr. Kennedy, he is awesome. The staff, especially the manager, Kathy Obermeyer, is dry, careless,... I had my glasses repaired. My helper said it would take, the most 5 days. I called after 1 week and they said it would take till the end of the month. My visit was on the 3rd of June. I kept calling and nothing. My last call was on the first week of July and they said that they had my glasses since June 24th. SAD. I picked them up and they were like nothing. read more

We had appointments with different doctors but both were excellent. They reviewed all issues with us and were very detailed and patient. I recently made an appointment with valley optometric group. I was told how my insurance would work before scheduling, the appointment was made within days of calling. When I arrived, I was greeted politely. I filled out the the forms I was told I could, if it would be easier, on the internet, that I forgot about. The office was very clean and comfortable. When I got called back we did the normal tests, dilated my eyes, and then went to the room for the eye glass exam. I felt so comfortable and relaxed, not in a rush, or pressed for time, as I have felt at previous businesses. Because I have diabetes she explained that my vision needs could change at any time due to my glucose levels, as a result she took the extra time to check my vision using a contraption of glasses that you can change the lenses by hand on top of the usual one with the sliding and the flipping, and she got the same results. She wrote the prescription and I filled it there, that day. The selection of glasses was good, as I am very picky, I found the perfect pair, did some measurements and was told they would let me know when they arrived. When I picked up said glasses the office staff was just as friendly and helpful. I am definitely going back as needed and referring them to whomever will listen! read more

My daughters and I were patients here for over 4 years. The service was mediocre, some of the staff were friendly while others couldn't be bothered to even look at you while asking how they can help you. They offer a decent selection of over-priced frames but charge quite a bit for the add-ons. The final straw for me had to do with appointment bookings and how little attention they gave to the scheduling of our appointments. Each year we had our exam and at the end of the annual exam, we would schedule the next appointment for 1 year out. They scheduled me for a date in October, as that date approached I called to push it back a couple weeks which they agreed to do. They gave me reminder calls for my upcoming appointment never mentioning an issue with the date. I took off from work to make my 10am appointment, drive across town for 20 minutes, check in at the receptionist desk just to be told: "we can't see you today, your insurance won't cover this visit". Turns out it had not been a full calendar year from my last appointment so the visit was not approved. Something they should have seen at the time of booking, or when I rescheduled (remember, it was 2 weeks after the original appointment date), or each time they pulled my account up to give me a reminder call. When they asked when I could come back I told them "I'm booked all of December and cannot come in that month, it will have to be January". The receptionist asked me if December 8th would work. I repeated what I said about December not being open for me, to which she replies "what about December 15, we can see you then". I was irritated she wasn't listening to me so I decided to take my business elsewhere. Jump forward 2 months, I get a reminder postcard in the mail for my daughter's upcoming appointment so I call to cancel. I explain we left this practice and are no longer patients there. They confirm the cancellation, then 1 week later I get a reminder call from them for that appointment! Beware of their poor record keeping!!! read more
