These guys are pro! They spent hours fitting me with the perfect clubs and even couching improvements on my shot. They worked with my budget, and made sound recommendations on club types. If you aren't what they consider their "customer" don't go here. I was completely invisible. A women golfer who wanted a couple of new golf grips. Three of them completely ignored me. The one who actually waited on me wasn't particularly happy to do so. Only one of the four of them actually recognized I existed. Needless to say I will never go there again. I'm from another state and was in the area for a wedding, staying for a week or so and decided to visit some local golf shops. I have wanted some new irons for a while but was not really looking to buy when I went in this store. The staff, Tim and Jeff were so friendly and helpful that I ended up buying a new set of irons! Tim watched me hit some different clubs and checked my fit, adjusted the angle of the clubs and re-gripped them with my favorite grips all while I waited. Played two days later and was really happy with my purchase, they also took my old irons in trade at a fair price. Probably won't be back in this area for some time but would definitely recommend this store for anyone in the area, I may even make purchases from them in the future from Arizona as they ship also..... I purchased a golf set for my grandson, paid over $200 was told by their sales staff that i would receive from the company another golf club when i sent in the enclosed paper work. The paper work was sent and I never received the additional golf club. I went into the store on three different occasions the owner of the store told me that the agreement was between me and the company whose clubs HE SOLD ME and refused to even call the company to try to get my additional golf club that was sold me. This company does not stand behind the equipment that they sell you. read more

This place is awful. I went to store to have a putter re-gripped (with a putter grip that was graciously given to me as a gift) and while waiting the repair guy to do the work per his direction, he asks why I want to use that grip? (implying that it is not good in some way) and where I got it? (i assume he going to sell me his products or explain what he offers is so much better). After answering his questions (i like the grip and it was a gift), I state, "why does it matter where I got that grip". He condescendingly answers, "I'm just asking." I told him where he can shove his service (what an A-hole) and walked out. While I have re-gripped here before and purchased products, why bother with this kind of crap (never going back). read more

I had to get a new putter due to the fact I had broken mine. So I was coming just to look and see what I liked but they were so nice and informative that I ended up buying one the same day. And so did my husband. We also got info about getting a future set. Both gentlemen were great and pleasant to talk to. I would recommend them. You're not gonna find cheap brands here but well known brands that will last you forever. I also liked that they had used clubs for sale too. Overall my experience was great. read more

This place in an absolute joke of a golf store. First off their trade in deal is ridiculous, you can only trade in a putter to buy a putter or driver to buy a driver, like really? i cant trade in a putter and then buy a driver? so dumb and inconvenient. After dealing with that my first trip i gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned because i needed two clubs cut one inch, which i know only takes about 15 minutes. the guy behind the counter took my clubs and then says come back tomorrow, seriously for a 15 minute job? i asked why and he said they arent doing any shop work that day because they only had 2 employees in the store and both needed to be out of the floor. I call BS i counted 3 employees in the store, AND the only people in the store wanted club work done!!! so your not doing club work to help the people in the store yet the people in the store want club work done? seems like a bunch of lazy tools to me, not to mentioned the guy doing repairs was either hungover or high. he looked awful and not ready to be at work, its no wonder he wasnt going to do any club work that day. I just bought a brand new iron set form Valley Golf and the experience was a 50/50 experience. I traded in some clubs and was accommodated by the owner as he matched a current promotion going on with Taylormade, as well a adding a veteran's discount. This was awesome of him to do and really made getting a new set of irons affordable. That process was positive all the way around. On the more negative note, there is one salesman/employee on the floor who is charged with fitting for clubs and serving every other customer that walks in the door. Unfortunately, when you are trying to get fitted for clubs, you expect that little bit of extra attention as you are about to spend hundreds of dollars in their store. During this process, the owner kept redirecting the attention of the employee that was fitting me towards other customers walking in, meaning I had about 50% of his attention as he was trying to help everyone simultaneously. I'm all about stores that try to greet their customers and provide service, but if you are spreading that service too thin, then no customer is really getting that service they deserve. Perhaps staffing is an issue or the boss doesn't want to get on the floor to provide customer service while the employee is busy. I could sense the frustration of the employee that was assisting me as he was getting pulled five different ways at the same time. My suggestion is to focus on making a quality sale vice trying to make a sale on everyone that walked through the door. The last thing you want when you walk into a golf store is for it to feel like a car dealership. Overall, this is local owned and operated store and I want to continue to shop here as their prices are competitive and it's good to support local business. I also appreciate that the owner was flexible and willing to work with me on price and discounts and made that side of the process much more enjoyable. I would recommend this place for your golf needs, but don't expect Roger Dunn level customer service while here. read more

I've read comments on here that they're difficult to work with, I've been in there lots of times over the years and never had a problem. Maybe you're the one that's difficult to deal with? read more

What a terrific find. The staff here is amazing and friendly. The shop is immaculate and has everything you need. I found 2 wonderful irons in the used section and they are just what I needed. My husband had a custom 9 iron built on the spot. I must say that I am completely impressed with my entire experience here at Valley golf. I'll be back for sure. Great job guys. read more
