Decent store and they have OK equipment. Just wouldn't recommend them for any clubs repairs or club building. Finally went to check my clubs weight and they did not swingweight them, clubs were at a C1, not ideal. Billy Bobs not far away is far superior for your club building needs. read more

Nick, the club repairman, is a total racist. Performs poor workmanship and cops an attitude all the time. I brought him 2 hybrids to re-shaft.I wanted the shafts switched in my 2 hybrids. I come back the next day and I see that they weren't switched. He insisted that he just reshafted them and that I told him to put the wrong shafts into the wrong heads. Hilarious...I told him that he pulled the shafts and put them right back into the same ones he pulled from! Lol. he then tells me to "act like an American and go back to my country!!" This business should be ashamed they have someone like that working for them. On top of that...I wanted one of the shafts extended and they couldn't do it bc there was already an old extension in it. I said it's fine but asked for a refund bc they "couldn't do the extension." i had paid for an extension because they make you prepay for club work. Nick completely loses it and acts like "he's the one that has to repay me". Rob, another employee, had to step in and ask Nick to relax. Rob then apologized and refunded me. Rob is the only decent employee there. Many people I know avoid this place like the plague because Nick is there. Sad read more

Have been going here the past 8 years an will never go back. They took full advantage of some of my students selling advanced clubs to beginners (probably because no one else wanted to buy them). Not to mention they always have an attitude every time I go in. Only reason its still open is due to no other golf shop is remotely close. Take your business to Billy Bobs. Stay clear from Nick, massive attitude an does a very poor job with club repair. I could go on an on but this will do....As a scratch golfer, take your clubs else where. End of story. Prices went up! I usually like this spot better than my local Dick's Sporting Goods. But my goodness did prices go up. I just needed a few grips put on the Golf Pride MCC Plus 4 are $10.99 pretty much everywhere. I get it, valley golf is much smaller, but they charge $15.99. If you're changing an iron set that's $35-$40 extra, not including if you grip your wedges. If you wanna save some money, drive over to Golf Galaxy or Dick's Side note, none of the employees wear a mask. I mean none of them. I observed 5 employees acting like we weren't in a pandemic. Just picked up a new driving iron yesterday. Went into try out some new irons. Brought my 7 iron and I believe Tim was very helpful. He switched out about 4 shafts trying to get me the best feel. I bought a glove from Valley Golf. The glove was made by the best manufacturer. After the first day, the stitching in the knuckles came undone. By the way, it rained too and the glove looked used. STAY AWAY from this store. I was looking at irons. They allowed me to demo the irons. I decided to buy them. I get to the counter and the two "fitters" had opposite opinions of the bend I needed. I began to get nervous that neither one knew what they were talking about, so I told them I wanted to hold off. They charged me 75$ for a fitting I didn't know I was getting. I called later and explained that it was wrong to charge me for something I didn't know I was getting " a fitting " and, needed a different fitting as the two "fitters" had opposing views. The second "fitter" informed me that the other fitter had told me I was getting a 75$ "fitting ". Which is a lie. What crooks. Go ANYWHERE. But here. read more

Worse place ever... spent over 3k and they acted nice and told me if I didnt like them I would have 30 days to exchange and when I come do my exchange the manager Jeff makes a million excuses and the older guy had to help me and make it happen for me which I didnt see the issue when they said it on they're own and I payed the difference.. then my A wedge breaks and Jeff fixed it for 52 dollars and I go play and breaks again and I come back and tell them its obviously defective so I'd like to get it exchanged and he doenst want to and makes a million excuses saying he has to fix it again but obviously doesn't know how to.. dont come here they will just take your money and act nice and then after they got you they will turn around... I believe Jeff shouldn't manage this store and someone with better customer service should and I'd like for Paul the owner to get ahold of me asap... read more

Great staff and very knowledgable about the game and equipment. I have purchased a number of custom fit clubs and all have been perfect in every way. I like Valley Golf because if there was ever any issue with my clubs, I can deal directly with the shop or manufacturer, which you won't get on low value alternatives. I am willing to pay a little more for peace of mind. When you bring in anything for a fix like new grips, they usually do it right on the spot while you tinker around the shop. Daniel is someone I trust completely with my game and he is honest with his advice, never steering me to something that won't work for me. I normally do my own club work, but I had just moved so all my supplies were packed away. The repair guy was either inept or corrupt. Neither of which is acceptable. It's sad because this is the only golf shop in all of Temecula and Murrieta. I went in with a Taylormade driver shaft where the tip adapter had separated from the shaft. The guy at the repair desk (a young White kid in his early 20s) tells me that because the ferrule has cracked, the entire thing needs to be replaced because there's no way to align the markings on the ferrule with the adapter. What??? Now those of you that know golf, know that the ferrule simply slides on and is completely separate and basically irrelevant with respect to the tip. It is a cosmetic piece and in the case of Taylormade tips, it tells you the settings. They're not installed with any level of precision. You just kinda eye ball it. This was simply a matter of having to reglue the tip and replace the ferrule. Which should cost about $10 to $20. Instead, he tells me that I need to replace the entire tip because the ferrule is cracked even though the tip adapter itself was fine. He quoted me $40 for the repair which if I had needed a new adapter was fair. So you have to believe one of two things: either he's completely inept or he lied and was deceitful to a customer to make $20. I don't believe that he's inept and doesn't know how to do his job because it's such a basic repair, so to think that he would lie and sacrifice his Integrity to make $20 is rather despicable. I took the shaft and tip to golf mart in Escondido and they repaired it with no issues for $15. I will never spend my money at Valley Golf! read more

I would rather drive 27 miles away to roger Dunn to get top notch customer services . Felt like a bother while asking questions ... I would not recommend to any of my neighbors or friends . I was told by a golf professional that I needed My lie adjusted on my clubs. Jeff told me that he wanted to check my swing first. I was presently surprised when Jeff Joseph told me that my swing was good and I did not need My lie adjusted on my clubs. I was willing to spend hundreds of dollars to get it done and was willing to buy new clubs. Jeff could have made a lot of money, but he chose instead to give me a good faith advice. I wanted to purchase a brick of Golf Balls at this store instead of at the Course so made my selection, looked around for other items and then decided to pick up a Birthday gift for a good friend. I went up to the counter and showed my Retired Military ID thinking that I might be honored with a discount. I wasn't surprised when they said no to this discount for in today's world profits are usually more important than respect however, why was very eye opening! The person behind the counter said, "that the owner told him that because of the amount of retired veterans if he gave this discount that he might as well give it to all the population"! Only one in tens of thousands of Americans ever serve our Nation in the Armed Services and only 1% of those stay in as a career. That's on the Average of 100 for every Million approximately! I'm not comfortable asking for anything additional than the next guy and they have the right to run their business as they see fit however, I have the right to shed light on this one aspect of our community. Here, on the course, at work, at the club, at Harley Davidson Rides with friends, on Base, on Facebook, On twitter and pretty much everywhere I wish! I purchased the one reasonably priced item and left the rest! Way to go turning a multi item purchase into a one item purchase by the way. By seeing the store from the outside, you'd think they would have limited stock. They have a great selection of clubs from new all the way to used. From apparel and accessories, they pretty much have everything you need. Staff is very friendly and attentive and are willing to answer all your questions. They're also willing to knock a couple bucks off a specific club depending if it's a demo or used club. I've witnessed them give great service to those who were getting fitted for clubs too. I feel the bad reviews on here don't do them justice. In an area that is slim in golf retailers, I feel they do the best they can. Sure, you can go a half hour or 45 minutes to a Roger Dunn or a local Dick's Sporting Goods but good luck trying to get a consistent experience with a Dick's. If you're a scratch golfer or high handicap, they probably have what you're looking for. read more

Very unhappy with valley golf. They act like there a giant store and have way better things to do. Plus I am the dumbass that has spent over $1600 there in the last 3-4 months. I always try to support this place but I always walk out disappointed. I'm always being sold something. In order for me to see my ball flight on a monitor and try whatever Club I needed to, I had to pay the $75 fitting fee. Very disappointing. When you're spending hundreds of dollars on one Club you think you could hit it as long as you want, they did allow me to hit one Club two times. I will give credit where credit is due. They do have couple of young guys in there that are very helpful with answering questions and the service department is very good. It wasn't until I was in the back of the store looking at clubs that a third employee told me to yell if I had any questions. The store was empty, but, no one really seemed interested in helping.
