The sidewalks are paved well and a few walls around will help you work up a good sweat. Not very crowded usually which I like, and convenient for family walks .

You might have to pay to park but I found street parking around the corner. The park is all artificial turf so the ball is going to jump and run when hit on the ground. Also this park is very small. Ill bet the outfield was only about 170 feet and netting is used to catch the HR hit. They do have nice bleachers for fans and the dug outs are cute and cozy. The food shack has typical stuff like hot dogs, popcorn, candy. Nice little park given the compact nature of it. The boys loved playing here.

It's one of the finest youth baseball parks you're going to find in the Metroplex maybe in the country. The field is TURF!! Deep in the heart of Mesquite (or Sunnyvale, or Seagoville...whatevs) lives a cute 'lil dirt track…read morecalled the Devil's Bowl. It's kinda like Nascar only cuter. And way more affordable. We came for the World of Outlaws Sprint car racing and had no idea the evening would turn out to be so much fun. 900HP teeny cars screaming down a dirt track 2X2 and sideways?? Yes, please. Here's a hint or two to make your visit the best it can be: *I'm not sure if they're all like this but the premium seats (we paid $40/ticket) are actual chairs. No need to bring stadium chairs to save your butt from hard bleachers. *No outside food and drink, but there are plenty of food vendors on site. Just know that the lines get absolutely ridiculously long during the race. *This place fills up on the weekend. Get here early and experience all that is redneck racing! *If you want to see pit road, you won't see it from the main seats. The cars all exit and go behind the track for pit work. I came here for the One Day September Slam Tournament. Our game was originally supposed to be…read moreplayed in Mesquite at Baseball Nation North, but a rain shower came in early in the morning and caused the Tourney to be moved here. This was my first time at this ball park. I'll start with the good: -the fields are nicely maintained, I didn't see many holes in the field and the grass was green and freshly cut -the spectator area was covered with netting to shield the sun -the parking lot is paved -The outfield fence is 8 feet high and covered so no balls can get through -they have tarps to put on the in field in case of rain The Bad: -there is trash everywhere! Not just recent trash left by that days spectators, I'm talking about Gatorade bottles with 3 centimeters of dirt on it. The dugouts have water bottles everywhere. -the walkway has gaping holes in it from erosion - the bathrooms are GROSS! It's smells like a sewer and they were out of soap -the "pond" is a breeding ground for mosquitos. Bring lots of bug spray!

At first, I didn't think there was much to the park until I kept driving further into the locale. There were at least two baseball diamonds that I could discern. Then there was a pavilion of sorts located next to a children's playground. At a little bit of a hike, there was a piece of outdoor art, a scupture, that I really enjoyed reading about. The field is poorly maintained. There are holes all in the infield. Right next to home plate is a big dip. That is very dangerous when sliding into home plate. Nice park. We wanted…read moreto enjoy the early evening weather and take a stroll. We stopped by Debusk Park since they have a nice walking/jogging path. The trail runs all the way around the park. Most of it is cement, but there are sections of it that are bridges made out of wood, so watch your step. It helps break up the monotony of running on you average sidewalk. The path goes up and down some nice hills, through heavily wooded areas, and right along the side of some residential streets. There is a opening where you run next to and cross over a creek, so I can imagine that the mosquito population here can be pretty heavy. Be careful and wear some DEET. Probably the crown jewel of this park (for some people, not for me), is this huge play ground. When I say huge, I mean HUGE!!! It's a pretty massive structure of wooden beams and planks to climb and play on. The path cuts right by it, so if you take it the whole 1.44 miles around, you'll pass by it! Cool place if you want a change of scenery and a nice trail to walk. If you're close by, take a walk and enjoy Mesquite!
