Adam filled in for someone once, so I went then as well. I don't have any other experiences at similar "sports arenas" or whatever they're called, so I don't have anything to compare this place to, but it seems nice enough to me and has a lot to offer. Big indoor soccer field, plenty of bleachers, a few tables, a concession stand, and then like... an actual restaurant. You can get pizza and beer and really kind of enjoy yourself while you watch your friends and loved ones kick a ball around and run back and forth over and over. The facility and bathrooms are clean and the staff was really friendly when I went. My sons soccer skills have gotten better and his confidence has sky rocketed during games. He also gets a great workout! At the time we went, they were offering a 50-minute private session to tryout the coaching session and facility. So we made reservations for both of our boys. We arrived and Coach Luis immediately started working with the boys together. They use this state-of-the-art ball machine that shoots out high and low balls controlled by the coach's phone. It took them a few minutes to get used to the speed but they adapted pretty quickly and learned so much. At the end of our time, the boys were competing against Coach Luis and having a good time. When we asked them about it in the car they both said they absolutely LOVED IT! If you are in the Dallas area, I highly recommend that you check TOCA out for your soccer needs. I was ready to sign the boys up for weekly/monthly training sessions on the spot, but I'll have to wait for them to come down south to Austin!

Some of the board members are coaches which becomes a conflict of interest. They have the referees (which they hire or are the same board memebers, so which side do you think they are on?) call out plays when it's only in their favor. They change game times last minute, so if you have Saturday plans you better cancel. Last season they didn't have a ceremony to hand out trophies, they gave trophies a month after season was over. Sadly, the kids all know the referees are being unfair. We will definitely not be returning to GPSA.
