Great bowling facility. It has been years since I have been in here and it looks amazing. The lanes are clean and it looks like newer furniture and tabletops. The house balls are a bit rough, so look for the smoother ones. Our group orders up a couple of thin crust pizzas that tasted good and hit the spot. Though, I felt like I need to wash my hands between bowls. The service was great in the beginning but once the "League Players" showed it was really busy. So if you have an issue with your lane it might be like pulling teeth to get it fixed. Overall, this is a beautiful bowling facility. Did I mention they have a full service bar? I had a good time! Went with a group from my church. Handful of adults and a dozen high schoolers. We paid for a group package with pizza and soda which was a smart idea. No hassles with ordering and they brought it out on time. With the package it's by time not by the game, you can get in around 2 1/2 games in. First time visit, pleased to see people enjoying themselves! Bowling lanes were busy with people enjoying bowling and time together over the holiday time. The fun center has a lot of options. As one walks in, the food area is to the left with counter seating. Next to that is the entrance to the bar. It was lit well with sports on the television. Some seating available. A well stocked bar. Bartender was pleasant sort. The front desk had three people that were busy and seems to be engaged in helping make the place run well. Good to know they are keeping things clean but it might be a good idea to keep the several bins for clearing not on the side counter but put more out of sight. Parking is close by. We walked from the froyo place a few doors down to check out the center. Bowling is one of my favorite activities. This place was inviting and I will return. read more

My son attended two of his friend's birthday parties here so we decided to have his 8th birthday here. Even though they were packed, they still fit us in for a Saturday in September. The staff are so nice! He even got everything set up with our Super Mario decorations snd balloons. He made sure all the pizza and drinks were timed to come out right on time. We brought ice cream sherbets and two cakes. The staff stored it for us and brought it out along with any requests for more ice tea and water. My son and all his guests enjoyed everything about this place! Bowling was great with all the guests including adults playing along with us too! So disappointed that the customer service here is so bad. Many of the young woman at the front desk have a bad attitudes. Ive been here 3 times in the last couple of months for birthdays and family time and I'm over the bad service. Most of the employees are not helpful, rude and brush you off when asking for assistance. During our last visit, we bowled with 6 hungry kids and ordered pizza, chicken strips, cheese sticks and a picture of soda. 25 min later 1 game is almost at an end and still no food. My sister from out of town went to check on the order and they said it would be 20 to 30 more minutes. They obviously forgot about our order without admitting to it. I asked for a refund since our game was already over and the kids were too hungry to wait. The woman who refunded my debit card said I should see it within a few days, which I did however they refunded the amount minus the $2.00 tip. ?? I called the bowling alley on 3/6/19 regrading this. They gave me to a young man who said he was the manager. I'll do him the courtesy of not putting his name on blast. He said that I should have told the worker to refund my total plus the tip and that I should have crossed out the tip during the refund process. ummm? 1st, I was never informed that I needed to ask for a refund of my tip for services/ food I NEVER received. 2nd: I was never shown my original receipt during the refund process. Was I supposed to guess that this is how they "REQUIRE" you to get a full refund?? I advised him to avoid this happening to other customers by training the staff to inform their customers that they need to "cross out" the tip when requesting a refund (on food /services never received.) Ridiculous? He was loud, talking a mile a minute, talking over me, and failed to take any accountability of the matter which in my opinion is that what they did was just wrong. He even was as rude to say, "it's only $2.00." WOW- sorry young man, but please don't think for a second that this is about the $2.00 dollar amount. What this is to me, is that it is wrong to assume customers need to go through this. How many customers has this happened to that have not caught it? We got forgotten about, we didn't receive food yet they felt entitled to keep my tip and not refund my full debit amount? Then, to be treated in such a rude manner to be made felt that it's the customers fault/responsibility to "cross out their tip" during refund process... all unknowingly? I needed a place to take the family for some fun for a couple of hours. I had the kids at home for the holidays and we needed to get out for the morning. The place was clean, not too busy, the service was friendly, and we paid around 30 bucks for an hour and 4 shoes. It was our first time bowling as a family, and none of us bowl regularly so I don't know if the lanes or balls are regulation or how the facilities would compare to other alleys. But I'm glad we came here. We all agreed we need to come here more often. read more

The manger here tried to pretend like "he's the owner " and replies to the comments. It's sad because we don't know who the owner is and if he's being taken advantage of by this rude unprofessional guy who really shouldn't be running a business. This place doesn't have the highest stars here in Yelp and it speaks for itself. It is very unfortunate Because Salinas Valley bowl is nostalgic and a piece of history here in Salinas being ruined by one person. I came here to have a great time but the customer service was terrible. I ordered two pizzas but they only brought one to my lane. I told them they were missing one but claimed they had already delivered which they hadn't. Plus they don't hand out receipts so they completely robbed me. My lane also did not work mid way so they wasted thirty minutes of my time and later they didn't want to recompensate the time. Lastly no specific people stood out although the Caucasian Male with black hair and female with blonde hair along with the lady at the food counter all three presented a very hostile and negative attitude when I requested for my other pizza, time, or an exchange in prize when the teen male did not understand or hear the color I wanted. I remember when this place was hella whack back in the day! But now they remodeled EVERYTHING!! I like what they did with the place. Bowling balls are well taken care off, compared to back in the day. They remodeled the back area to be family friendly. A lot of arcade games for the kids. Bar is nice for the adults. Large TVs and really clean. One bartender is really nice. Really friendly and cater to your needs. It's a little pricey but they have deals throughout the week. Pool table are actually the same as it was before. I used to just play pool since there were no pool halls in town. Tables are okay, but should be better taken care of. the place is unclean. the microphone and stereos were too loud, approaches were not clean, machines broke down multiple times across the bowling alley, it looks like they put more effort in there arcade than the bowling alley itself. the arcade is the highlight of the place, although I don't suggest getting any prizes cause non of them are interesting. it's 20$ for an hour of pool which means 10 dollars for an hour of pool. really. the bowling alley smells bad and is hot inside. it just looks bad to. I do not suggest to go here, or from valley center to ever hold a tournament as there is hardly any room for bowlers to move around read more

I know the owners of this establishment, and they are very nice hard working people. But, there are a couple of issues, and I would be doing them an injustice to not mention them: First, the arcade games are always down. Any given visit we lose an average of 10 tokens because machines don't function. We have also experienced problems with the ticket counter, when my son put over 50 tickets into it and it failed to give him a receipt. The staff was difficult to find to get assistance, and when we finally did talk to someone, he seemed very indifferent. On the bright side however; the bowling lanes are great! Newly refreshed, with new seating. I would like to see a larger variety of ball weights though... 12 pound max just doesn't work for men. All in all, if you are looking for a fun time bowling and having a few drinks with friends, this is the place to be... Just stay clear of the arcade. read more

Poor management.... Me and my kids went bowling. Me had lane 25.. We were in the middle of a game. Were asked to moved lanes.. So we moved to lane 26 .. We had about 4 problems with that lane.. System frozen, balls getting jammed, pins fallng down.. .. We spent most of time going to the front desk than playing... When the game ended. We asked to speak to the manager. I thought he would compensate for all the trouble... All he said he doesn't understand why he had to do that... And if wanted to play I had to for it... Really bad service.. The people that work at this establishment are horrible. We came to bowl from Manteca with the Junior Adult Travel League. Prices were super inflated, the lanes were oily, the staff was rude (especially management) they let people bowl on the lanes on both sides of us. Rude, condescending, inconsiderate, disrespectful, and lame. $5.25 per game, $29.95 to bowl per hour. If you want to come bowl where you will be treated with respect come to Manteca. Have gone here about three times in 20 years. The last time a few months ago with my 18 yr daughter. It was an ok evening. It was the first time I went in a week end night. There was a definite unsavory element here in the later evening. When we went to the parking lot we smelt pot burning and saw more of the unsavory element. It's just Salinas I guess.
