Update on story below- I went to to Toyota again. The head of operation met with me as well as the…read moresenior head of service. They saw I put a new rim on where a tire had gone off. They wanted to assume the issue was caused by the rim like blaming a mythical pothole before. However, they did listen to me. That the old rim was checked and the only reason I put a new rim on was due to the fact after number of tires going off rims and near accidents I did not know if now something would now be wrong with it. They did want to take a look at the old rim but told me they would pay for other tire work. They wanted to see if there was a problem with the machine or rim for safety of customers. They believed I had problems and wanted to make that right. I give two more stars. I appreciate they worked to hear me out and repaid work done. I can't give more stars as it was more than one tire that went off shortly leaving the place. One was put back on by Flynn's by a friend there. The other that happened more often that I replaced the rim I wish they would have let me pay difference for other tires or other resolution on that one earlier when I told them I almost got into and an accident with a mother and kids. 3 times seems a little on the far side. I was afraid to drive my truck on new tires which felt very strange. Under a stressful situation I do respect how professional they handled it. My main complaint is not acting faster. As I am sure this does not happen with most tire installs and talked with sales, it surprisingly would not keep me from buying a car there. The sales staff is knowable and an older gentleman AJ or A younger man Tony would be great men to help you buy a car. So bought 4 tires for my tundra. One tire on the front passenger side, a side I have never had issue before has popped out of the rim and almost caused me to have an accident 3 times. Often within hours of instilling the tire. Auto tech at other places are mystified that they would let me leave or not do more to fix the problem as the have never seen an issue like that before other than two reasons 1. Someone installs the tire wrong. 2. The machine does not put the tire on right. I offered to pay the difference even though I most got killed for different tires. They told me they got them from Flynn's so I talked to Flynns. I had auto techs stopping by my house to see the tire the let me keep as they couldn't believe it. It had gone viral. I have heard different reasons the tire may not go on, ok by I am driving a Toyota vehicle a a Toyota dealership. Let's say it's a problem with the rim and you already know the tire has caused a near accident with another vehicle, then have the customer get a rim and a tire. But they did not see any issue with the rim. They did try to tap dance out of putting new tires on. You let a customer leave when you know there has been a dangerous issue that could put their family and others at risk. You make it right. You figure out the problem. Do not trust them to put tires on your car. You are putting you, your family and others at risk. I have a whole bunch of auto techs that are ready to testify. Other shops don't let vehicles leave like this. If it happens they make it right without trying to blame the customer. I tried to be be nice during this and keep my cool to the service manager Ben, but his boss wanted to try and blame other things. People and myself could have died. I also own more than one vehicle and drove the worst due to workers having kids and I do not. I lost a kid and did not want kids losing their parents so have much nicer vehicles. I was going to get a new personal and business vehicle for myself, but I know not to get it there. Buy them and get them serviced elsewhere. You life and those of people you care about may depend on it. They knew their bad work almost caused a crash with a car containing kids and they did not do more to make it safe. I am bringing elsewhere and bringing another old tire to them. Last thing I would do is trust them with the work.
