A couple weeks ago I purchased about…read more$350 in parts from our local Boardman Ohio AUTO ZONE store when our '07 Ford Edge had an engine error code that indicated that the #1 cylinders ignition coil has failed. I purchased all 6 new coils and plugs, as recommended by the sales rep, but once installed I noticed the car was still having the same issue as before. After some research on the internet, I found that our year Ford Edge is notorious for having the coils failing which in turn, also, fry's the PCM. I went back to Auto Zone for a re-built PCM at that point, but they were unable to contact their vendor that re-builds the Ford brain's, and had to steer me elsewhere. Here is where the problem comes in, the companies that do re-build PCM's on our year Ford, will only give a warranty on them if you purchase the coils and plugs from them as well. This left me with the $350 in "Electronic" parts that I could not use. I told my wife, we can try to return them, but usually part store will not refund money on electrical part. Now, here is why I am still in SHOCK... When I went in to Auto Zone and explained the situation to the sales clerk and then asked if I could return the coils and plugs...he did! ...he refunded my credit card with no questions asked. That was AWESOME customer service! I was fully expecting to have to eat the $350, and vowel to never shop there again, but because they were so understanding and helpful, I actually found a new lifetime parts supplier! All 3 of our vehicles have over 100k miles, so even though this transaction may not be ideal for them today....I'll be back for sure! My thanks go to Auto Zone for doing the right thing in this situation. During the course of this not-so-pleasant Ford adventure, I dealt with 5 different Auto Zone sales guys including a manager. Each was very knowledgeable and very helpful. They have a great group of guy's there at your Boardman Ohio store.

They claimed they were "slip-ons", and had a specially designed U-clip to install them. Neither was true. The local custom muffler shop said it would cost $100 to install them. I had to return them at my own expense. The they charged me another $30 for the return. I was out $40 on a $90 purchase. These people are CRIMINALS.

After countless emails and don't call their phone doesn't work, I finally got a response about the order (3 months later), it was never placed but they had my $500. I received one of the items but not the second item and they said the shipped with the first piece but that was a lie. You'll get 4 or 5 different names on emails making it look like they have employees but they don't.

Went in for seat covers, cleaning spray and a sponge.. they didn't put the seat covers in the bag…read moreso I didn't notice till I got home. Went there around 7:15 later to get them. Knowing I purchased them they put my item back and didn't bother to call me using my account information in the system! I told them, "hey you guys forgot to give me my seat covers earlier." JR the "assistant manager" said, "oh f*ck that was you?!" Nice language.. the other guy said, "we put that back because we saw you leave without it!" I said, "You put the item I paid for away to be purchased again by someone else even though you knew I purchased it earlier today?!" I asked, "why didn't they look me up with my purchase because I am a rewards member?" JR the ASM once again, "How the f*ck is that our problem?" I was flabbergasted... I said, "let me tell you something JR, I have worked in customer service too and over the years- yes, I forgot to give a customer a product they paid for- but I have not once said it was their faults, I took ownership of my mistakes and apologized over and over again! You never once said sorry! You just swore at me! Let me return all of my stuff because I will not be shopping here ever again- I will go somewhere I'm appreciated!" They still didn't say sorry when I left- I'm pissed. I work all day, take care of a sick parent, try to do something nice for me by making my car nicer and this is what I get in return!

Asked if they could check another AutoZone for availability of alternator, said they couldn't. Went to another AutoZone and had them run same test on alternator. Alternator was fine, I don't like being lied to and being ripped off. Don't believe them, very sad when people do things like that.

All I wanted was to try and get into another car without transferring a lot negative equity due to this not being any fault of mine. Because of him I will never buy another car from him. Another customer came to see if his truck was done and told Charlie that the problem with his truck was not a necessity and that he could work on mine. Charlie continues playing around with this truck while I'm still sitting there patently waiting. He finally looks at my car after three hours of waiting and says he's going on vacation Monday and then tells me he's not going to fix it and tells me to just keep putting brake fluid it and to use my first and second gear when using my brake and sends me on my way. What kind of mechanic would do that to a woman with a broken brake line, and did he actually think I was gonna keep putting brake fluid in it, until he came back from vacation? He probably lied about the vacation and believe he had something against me, why? I haven't a clue. I never had this problem with Charlie in the past, so why now, because I work? He even had the nerve to ask me personal questions that were none of his business, before he declined to fix my car.

My mother is a 68 year old retired RN who purchased a van from Haus Auto Group with the intention of traveling across the country, visiting national parks. Instead, she has spent months dealing with a nightmare--costly repairs, misleading information, and complete disregard from the dealership. The van was misrepresented from the start. It was advertised as a Flex Fuel Chevy Express, which she paid a premium through the dealership's vendor to have delivered to her in Texas. Upon delivery, she discovered it was actually a VIA Motors VTRUX hybrid--a vehicle that very few mechanics can service due to software restrictions that a quick Google search will confirm was a complete failure for GM. The hybrid battery failed 3 days after she accepted delivery of this vehicle, and despite taking it to multiple shops, no one has been able to fix it. Additionally, the van has significant rust issues that were not disclosed at the time of sale. They haven't even honored their own guarantee and reimbursed her for what she spent in repairs the first month she owned it. My mother repeatedly reached out to Chris Haus, asking for assistance or a buyback, as she unknowingly purchased a vehicle that is essentially undrivable, and the vehicle delivered is not the vehicle she purchased. Communication has been slow, dismissive, and filled with empty promises. Every time she pushed for a resolution, she's been met with excuses or silence. Meanwhile, she's still making payments on a van that she cannot use. This dealership sold her a branded title vehicle without proper disclosure, failed to ensure it was in working condition, and has done nothing to make this right. She spent her life savings on what was supposed to be her dream vehicle, only to be stuck with an expensive, useless burden. If you value honesty, integrity, and accountability, DO NOT BUY FROM HAUS AUTO GROUP. I strongly urge anyone considering a purchase here to take their business elsewhere.
