I read the great reviews about Valkyrie: educated owner and barista, great coffee. All true!!! Dakota, is a passionate purveyor of unique and exotic tasting coffee drinks and teas. Dakota has me hooked on the Triple Affogato (espresso flavored ice cream plus espresso, plus cold exotic coffee over ice) and the friendly atmosphere. His customers are diverse and pleasant. I really like the environment here. I wasn't sure what to order but the barista made a great suggestion. Can get a little busy and noisy here if you're planning to sit down and do work but not a problem if you can tune out the noise. It was just a little stuffy in here and the music was a bit too loud, especially with the crowd but I would come here again! I do wish they had more snacks or little pastries to go along with coffee. read more

There is a certain feel homeliness about the coffee shop that you just can't find at other places in the Hudson Valley.
