I stopped by on my way home and she hadn't even touched the skirt despite it presumably being ready the next day. Nonetheless she said it would be ready on time. I came in the next day to pick it up after it was finally ready. I brought it home in the garment bag and noticed it had ink stains all over it. She didn't bother to tell me that she stained it, nor that she tried to get it out and left a water stain as well. Horrible service. Accidents happen but not informing a customer is inappropriate and poor business.

I just got my dress back yesterday after two appointments and I still have two weeks to go! I am very impressed with the quality of the work that was done, the timeliness, and the professionalism. I needed the dress to be taken in about two sizes, I needed a bustle added, the skirt cut, and the veil altered. I have never paid for alterations before, but I felt what they charged for all of that was very reasonable. I have some other formal dresses that have been hanging in my closet that I will definitely take to them going forward. The place is also very clean and cozy. The room to try on your dress is so adorable, and they have all the accessories you need to make sure you have the look. I couldn't recommend or be more grateful for Alterations by Heidi!!

I decided to take in a very formal gown I was wearing to a wedding to test them out before giving them 'the' dress. I was blown away. They are getting all of my business for any formal or complicated alterations I need! I am a petite 5'1" female and there was a lot of this dress that needed to be taken in and shortened. They also put in some bra cups so that I didn't have to wear a bra. It doesn't look like much from the outside of the building, and it's not in the best location. But when you go inside, you can immediately tell you're in the right place. They have high end equipment and a nice space. It was busy when I walked in, which is also a good sign. The people here are well trained and know what they're doing. The man I worked with really took his time to make sure my dress was laying properly and would fit well with his adjustments. He reminded me to stand tall so that it wouldn't be messed up as he was taking measurements. They were also able to get my dress done within two weeks! They gave it to me freshly pressed and ready to go. Awesome service. I can't say enough positive things about this place.

HORRIBLE experience. My MIL booked a consultation for my wedding dress alterations and somehow they…read moredidn't book accordingly. Janet helped me into my dress and started pinning some stuff. I asked her to pin the underboob area and she just ran her fingers over it to "flatten" it out. She started pinning the bottom for hemming which was odd to me since the top of the dress should be altered before even looking at the hem... I looked down and noticed she snagged my dress! Front and center right on the top layer, I pointed it out and she scrunched her face and tried to smooth it over and just moved on like it didn't happen!? At this point all the red flags were glaring me in the face and I kindly asked "this is just a consultation, right?" And she scoffed and said "no, you're booked with me to tailor your dress." I let her know " I'm so sorry there must have been a misunderstanding this was just supposed to be a consultation." Then she proceeded to basically tell me I was wasting her time. I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. I feel awful after this experience. I left in tears with a snagged dress, I don't feel like she listened to me or tried to accommodate my requests. I would NEVER trust this place with any piece of clothing, let alone my wedding dress. I recently took my dress to Gorgeous K Co for alterations and was unfortunately very disappointed with the experience. When I picked up my dress, I noticed several stains on the front. I pointed these out, and they assured me it was just water from being steamed. However, the marks appeared more like stains left from measurements, not water spots. There was a perfect cross pattern right on the front. This was especially concerning as a friend who is in the same bridal party and suggested this shop to me had an identical issue with her dress being returned with the same stain pattern. My dress was brought out to me in a child size dress bag as the owner stated she mis placed her regular size bags so not only was my dress stained, I had to re steam it. Additionally, I was told that parking would be validated, but the validation sticker provided did not work. I was promised reimbursement for my parking fees, but despite reaching out multiple times, I have yet to receive a response or any follow-up. The issues with the cleanliness of the dress and the lack of communication left me disappointed. I felt very tricked as the owner assured me she would reimburse my parking but never refunded me like promised and then stopped communicating altogether.

So we were cool with that. I returned and they were not complete. Returned the next morning to pick up poor quality of work. It appears to be a Mom & Pop shop, very nice people, but will not use again and would not recommend due to issues above. The owner was apologetic about the delay and poor communication, but the poor quality speaks for itself.
