I walked inside to use *tap* on the card machine because my chip doesn't work. Story of my life :D I started to get in line but saw the slurpees and they looked SO FRESH. I hadn't had one in years, so I decided to treat myself. They were perfect. Whoever keeps those up did a great job. Often times the machines look runny and gross. A young lady named Betty had been helping a customer check out when I walked in. By the time I had gotten my slurpee which didn't take long, I turned around and she was diligently sweeping. Once she saw me stand in line, she immediately went back behind the counter to assist me in checking out. She asked if I had rewards and I said, "I don't think so!" She said, "Why don't you just put your phone number in and see?" I said, "Okay!" I didn't have an account but it prompted me to join the rewards program. She told me that I would save money on gas and get treats and whatnot. I thanked her because I did not know this previously. I made sure she rang the slurpee up after all was said and done because the amount she charged me for gas and my treat seemed too low. She said that she did ring it up! The driver who dropped the car off after picking it up from the yard went the extra mile to make sure it was dropped in a safe place and made sure I was happy.
