A young lady named Betty had been helping a customer check out when I walked in. By the time I had gotten my slurpee which didn't take long, I turned around and she was diligently sweeping. Once she saw me stand in line, she immediately went back behind the counter to assist me in checking out. She asked if I had rewards and I said, "I don't think so!" She said, "Why don't you just put your phone number in and see?" I said, "Okay!" I didn't have an account but it prompted me to join the rewards program. She told me that I would save money on gas and get treats and whatnot. I thanked her because I did not know this previously.
