I recently got into a car accident and had my car stored in their Camarillo yard. The gentleman working (Bobby) was kind, professional and very accommodating. Prices were beyond fair for the storage fee, and they were quick to help me get my car towed out and get it where it needed to go. The driver who dropped the car off after picking it up from the yard went the extra mile to make sure it was dropped in a safe place and made sure I was happy. Getting a car towed in any capacity sucks. There's no doubt about that. If I ever have a problem I'm coming back to Eddies everytime. They even followed up next day to make sure everything went how I wanted it too, and that's the kind of place you want to support. Thanks so much for making a bummer a little easier. read more

Once again, Eddie's Towing came through for us quickly and efficiently. Angel arrived to jump start my car and replace the battery. Very efficient and cost effective! Well, it was a "Fuel Pump" this time around. I must say, I was so happy when AAA sent out "Eddies Towing" - these guys are great. And the technician was very careful with my classic sportscar, careful to make sure the spoiler didn't catch on the inclined bed or that the cables didn't touch it on the bottom when hoisting it up. I appreciate people who do it right, not rushed and take care of my equipment. They are the best in town, good prices and value too. I rate them an A+ and I thought you should know read more

Battery died, car wouldn't start when jumped; contacted AAA, they sent out Eddie's Towing Battery Service. Eddie's was there in a little under the estimated time, my battery was tested, found to be in very sad shape indeed (not surprising as it was quite old), and replaced in short order. There was no service fee with AAA so I paid only for the battery. Very happy. read more

This company should be glad that they have Drivers that saves this company from a customer service standpoint. I called this place needing a vehicle towed, and the owner's daughter (Nikki) was an absolute smart ass. She first gave false information about an employee not being there, then absolutely railroaded the conversation. The Driver finally gets to me, and we had a pleasant interaction. Our vehicle got taken care of, and everything was golden. I asked him, "who was the lady that answered the phone there?" He immediately said "was she rude?" I said hell yes. He said, "oh that's the boss's daughter. She thinks she runs the company and is just not a people person. We get tons of complaints as driver's about her." I can absolutely see why they would. Lady was ridiculous. read more

Thank you Eddie's Towing!!!! I needed a tow yesterday and called AAA who sent over Eddie's Towing and both of the gentlemen that came to my assistance where amazing!! professional, caring and made me feel safe. I especially want to thank them for recommending that they tow me to the dealership as oppose to a mechanic in the area of which I was not familiar with being over 50 miles from home. Thanks to them my car was still under warranty and no cost for an engine repair or car rental. If it had not been for the gentlemen from Eddie's Towing suggesting the dealership, I would have been out of pocket in finances. THANK YOU!!!! Highly recommend them read more

Unbelievable. I have no words to describe the sheer lack of decency shown by a driver from this company. I called AAA for a tow which dispatched Eddie's towing. I needed a flat bed and they showed up with a dolly. I politely told the driver that I don't think a dolly would work because my car is too low. He told me to F myself and drove off. Entire interaction was maybe 10 seconds after waiting over an hour. Unbelievable Update: dispatch called me and were also in disbelief of what originally happened. They sent out a flat bed which arrived in 20 minutes and got the job done. The second driver was great read more

Eddie's Towing is the AAA service provider in Newbury Park. I was at Home Depot and when I returned to my car, it wouldn't start. It's a newer well-maintained car, so I was shocked. Called AAA and Eddie's Towing was dispatched. The tow truck driver assessed the situation and attempted to jump-start my car, to no avail. Rather than immediately tow my car, he called for a battery technician, who soon arrived. He used two portable chargers together and got my car started. Both the battery tech and the tow driver followed me to the 101 on-ramp. I apologize for not getting their names. Both were thorough, kind, dutiful and conscientious. Thank you. I am very appreciative! read more

Hadn't used my RV is about 6 months and the main battery was dead. AAA sent Eddie's Towing Battery Service technician out and got it started. Informed me that the battery which was 3 years old really needed to be replaced. My is a special heavy duty RV battery that he doesn't carry on his truck and he suggested I replace it right away. Their tech was on-time, had the experience, right tools and was courteous. Hopefully when I need to use AAA again they send our Eddie's Towing Service. Very pleased with their service. read more

I cant be grateful enough for the encounter I had today with a worker named Petey! He made me not feel like an idiot for locking myself out of my car but also managed to be the first light I say in a very long dark day. He was sent quickly to my sight and it took very little time for him to get my keys, roughly all around 15 minute wait from call to finish, truthfully amazing. He also went above and beyond in recommendations for my car and it was so helpful. He made me remember what a real human interaction should be. Thank you! read more

Petey is the reason I'm online writing this review for Eddie's Towing. I needed help at my house getting the spare wheel onto my car. Petey was fantastically professional, simple, and fast. When he arrived he introduced himself, asked how he could help, and got my info. He then took the time to find & plug the hole from a torque screw in my tire and got me on my way. Meanwhile we chatted about German cars and his experience with them. I'm indebted to you, Petey! Thank you again! read more

Being in law enforcement and having worked both Thousand Oaks and Camarillo, i have dealt with Eddies Tow (both professionally and personally) for over 20 years. Every member of that company has always been courteous, professional and friendly. Earlier today i had to request a tow for our family car. The second the driver got out of his truck, he immediately stuck his hand out and introduced himself as "Petey." During our conversation and noticing the hat he was wearing, i quickly learned he was a vet. Petey was above professional and offered advice and solutions to my problem. Thank you to Eddies Tow for a great towing experience. I would also again like to say, "Thank you for your service". Merica! read more

My wife and I had broke down in Camarillo. We had a bad battery. We called AAA and a driver (Angel) from Eddie's Towing was dispatched to our location. Angel arrived to assist us in a timely manner. He quickly diagnosed the problem. And advised us we needed a new battery. Fortunately he had a battery in his work van. Angel replaced the battery and completed the necessary paperwork. We were back on the road. Thanks Angel and Eddie's Towing. read more

Petey correctly assessed my issue after I called AAA for service. He literally saved me a tow and an unnecessary repair for what turned out to be too little gas in my car. I called to request a tow service to help with parking issues in a gated community in Camarillo. All I wanted to know is if the Property Management called them, would they respond to impound vehicles that were blocking residents parking, or impeding traffic flow. The answer was.... "LOL.... we are too busy for that type of business, and you will never find a tow company willing to do that"....this woman was rude, and dismissive. I personally will never use this company, I tell everyone I know NOT to use this company.... and of course our Property Manager DID find a tow company that was thrilled to have our business. My advice.....when you come to Eddies Tow in your search.... KEEP looking read more

Arrived very quickly. Petey was very respectful of my 21 year-old daughter. Petey is very knowledgeable, checked out the damage to the car and explained clearly what was damaged. He reassured my daughter that it probably wouldn't be too expensive to fix. Turns out, she didn't need a tow. Petey was very personable and open to conversation while putting on the spare. He explained clearly the limitations of driving with the spare on and the precautions she should take. He never posed personal questions to us. Petey gave my daughter recommendations for a local body shop and a window fix service. He provided outstanding service! Oh and yes, he wore a mask the entire time and kept a minimum of 6 feet distance. Thank you Petey! You saved the day! read more

Broke down inside a car wash in Newbury Park, got a push out and called AAA. Braden from Eddie's towing was dispatched and arrived within 25min. He examined the car, diagnosed a dead (as in deceased, not flat) battery and gave me a couple of options. I chose to buy a new battery right there and then out of his fully stocked truck. My old 2015 battery was recycled, a new one put in and I was off back to work within 20 mins of Braden arriving. Totally awesome service from a very pleasant expert in what he does. Whole thing cost $200. Unbelievable value given the potential inconvenience in play. I'd recommend Eddie's and in particular Braden for any electrical failures while out there on the roads. I didn't even miss the meeting I'd already notified folks I'd be missing for due to being stuck at the gas station. read more
