Over 100 1 star reviews. I read quite a few and instantly decided that I needed to save myself a headache and cancel my appointment. I called this place and left a very detailed voicemail of all my information, stating I just made an online appointment 5 minutes ago and would like to cancel because of how poor the reviews are. Nobody called me back, so I assumed they cancelled my appointment. A few days later I received a reminder text about my upcoming appointment...I responded right away and left another voicemail (does anyone pick up phones at this place lol) explaining that I have already cancelled this appointment. No response. Again. A few weeks later...I received a $50 bill for not showing up to my appointment!!! Hahahaha oh my. Now I see what all of these yelp reviews are talking about. Horrible experience. I never set foot in this office or talked to one person and they have the audacity to try and charge me $50?? Even after I left 2 very clear and detailed voicemails explaining that I want to cancel and stated my reason for cancelling. I even texted their text system every time they tried telling me I have an appointment. They do not use a DONOTREPLY texting system, they can absolutely see the texts. So 4 attempts to cancel an appointment and they still try to charge me $50 for a no show. I already called their service number and was met with an interesting conversation. The lady on the other end told me that the appointment I made was for the very next day and since I cancelled the appointment, it was within 24 hour notice so I was charged. She also said since this is my first time, they will clear the charge. Cool. I accepted what she said and they got rid of the charge. ...but what she said was not true at all. My appointment was for 5 days after I set the appointment. I got a text confirming that I made an appointment. I also got another text reminding me about my appointment a day before the scheduled date. I didn't bother telling the lady this on the phone because she said she was getting rid of the charge. I'm confused as to why she lied about my appointment being made for the very next day and that my cancellation violated their 24 hour rule. I first cancelled the appointment 4 days before the actual appointment. Oh well. This "business" if you can even call them that - is an embarrassment. I truly believe every single one star review I see for this place. I have experienced it myself. They are not organized, they clearly don't listen to voicemails or take the time to cancel someone's appointment so they can try and snake you for $50. Im convinced they didn't even bother to look up the fact that I did call them and text them multiple times. They just gave me some BS they give to everyone "you canceled within the 24 hr period you owe us $50". I can imagine a lot of people just accept this and pay. What a horrible business practice. I spent several hours looking for a trustworthy piercing shop in my area, and finally exhaled when I found Electric Tattoo Parlor! I scheduled an appointment online with Ian for about a week out. I arrived to my appointment on time and Ian was there to welcome me! It was very clean inside and I appreciated that piercings are done in a private room in the back. Ian walked me through the whole process and showed me how everything is sterilized before the piercing. He quickly put me at ease! Ian did a great job with my nose piercing and walked me through aftercare. I was able to get everything I needed for aftercare at the shop. He also has you come back 2-4 weeks after the piercing for a checkup and to swap out to a shorter post! The fact that they have you come back to ensure the piercing is healing well shows that they actually care about the quality of their work. I only had my piercing yesterday, but I LOVE it and I'm so happy with my experience and how it turned out. I have already recommended Electric Tattoo to several friends and will DEFINITELY go back whenever I want another piercing!

The laser Removery uses is SIGNIFICANTLY less painful than what I experienced at the place I was going before, which claimed to have had "the newest technology" (obviously bs). Removal is of course never going to be comfortable, but I would say the pain level with Removery's laser is about a 4/10 compared to dang near close to a 10/10 at the other place. I had some issues regarding a misleading consultation that resulted in unfair pricing, however, Angie the studio manager eagerly stepped in to help with a quick & fair solution. She is super sweet, along with all of the staff I've met at this location! I'm still in the long & dreadful removal process unfortunately, but Removery is trying to get the job done as quickly as possible while also ensuring not to cause any additional skin damage that I obtained at my prior removal place. Kim was suggested to me through a current client if her's. I went to see her to get Botox and to talk to her about some facial fillers. Kim was so knowledgeable and explained everything to me about fillers, what I would need to do to achieve a desired look and what would and would not be advised. She also performed a session of microneedling/PRF injections under my eyes and the results are fantastic. I've scheduled another session. I would trust no one else with my under eye. 10/10! I can't say enough about her. In addition, I visited Dr. Bakhos for surgical removal of a lesion right on my cheek and the results healed beautifully. I would highly recommend both of them, whether you are needing a surgical treatment or simply visiting the med spa. Both med spa and surgery offices have the KINDEST, most professional staff. I'm disappointed with how this office handled a missed appointment. I did not receive a text…read morereminder or confirmation for the appointment, which I typically rely on--especially since the appointment was scheduled far in advance. I was not informed that no reminder would be sent. When I explained this, I was told that reminders are only a courtesy and that patients are fully responsible regardless. While I understand policies, I was hoping for some flexibility or a one-time courtesy waiver given the circumstances. Unfortunately, there was no willingness to meet in the middle. Because of this experience, I chose to cancel my future appointments. Just sharing so others are aware to closely track appointments on their own and not rely on reminders. After I requested cancellation of my future appointments, I did not receive a response or confirmation that my future appointments are cancelled. This further reinforced my experience of poor communication.
