I cannot say enough good things about this place. Dr Song is not only professional and knowledgeable but very kind and helpful. This will buy the only optometrist I go to from now on. Her staff is also on the same level as she is. read more

I have been coming here for years and I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Song and her team. In fact, I came to Dr. Song when I was experiencing some pain in my eye. Due to her experience and the technology she has at her office, she was able to detect that I had symptoms of MS. She then gave me a referral to a great doctor that was able to get me on a medical regime. I cannot thank Dr. Song enough for all that she has done for me. I will be forever grateful. read more

Overpriced glasses that are garbage. Purchased glasses here and in a couple of months the left temple (arm of the glasses) fell off. Than a couple weeks later the right temple fell off. They said since it was already fixed they couldn't fix the other arm because it's a limited warranty. The only thing this office has going for them is the friendly staff. Save your money and just got to Costco. read more

Dr. Song has been my optometrist for as long as I can remember. Dr. Song is a great doctor with experience I only had to give my insurance information once making it so much easier to just show up on time to my appointment every other year and knowing that they are ready to see me. Dr. Song and staff are very friendly, attentive, and helpful not to mention I only had to wait an hour for my prescription glasses and I really appreciate that. I value my time and I appreciate they get things done. I drive from LA just to go see her not only for their great services, also because their store have great variety of brand name sunglasses and frames that are not found in many other offices. read more

Service, communication and sense of good care are what Valencia Optometry delivers. I have used them for the last 4 years and am so happy with their service. BEST in Valencia! read more

I was impressed with the quality of care I was getting from Dr. Song, so I brought my boyfriend, also over 50. Eye health is extremely important to track for people our age, and Dr. Song has excellent equipment and knowledge to do a very thorough exam and either give us a clean bill of health or alert us to conditions that need to be monitored very closely. Our prescription lenses serve us well, and the friendly staff helps us choose frames that flatter our features and meet our lifestyle needs. The office is comfortable and well-maintained. There is a great selection of frames and contact lenses. I drive there from Hollywood to get top standards of eye care and extraordinary service. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS OPTOMETRIST! I came here to shop for new bi-focal sun glasses. The girl that helped me was very nice, no problem. The prices were marked on each pair, so I chose some that would be covered by my insurance. The optometrist informed me the marked price was incorrect, it would cost more. I agreed to pay the difference. The glasses would be ready in 7 days. They were ready...Yay...new glasses! As I tried them on I couldn't see. They had not followed the prescription & had not included the bifocal in the lens....they said" we thought you just wanted them for distance" You're kidding, right? So they will re-do it and it will be another 7 days. Yay...my new glasses were ready! I receive a call that the glasses were almost ready, but the lens got scratched, and it would not pass inspection at the lab and they have to re-make the lens...is this a joke or what? It will be another 7 days. okaaay...I'm getting my new glasses today, Yay! I arrive to pick them up, and the optometrist informs me that they were wrong again....this time they have made a tri-focal. I asked for my money back and still can't believe what incompetent people are at Valencia Optometric!!! Absolutely ridiculous!!! read more

Had an appointment at 3 pm, waited.. waited... at 4 pm I asked how much longer it would be. They said hopefully in about 20 minutes. So I left and will not be back. Bummer because it is such a convenient location. read more

I've been going to this optometrist for the past 5+ years. Overall, everyone is really nice and professional. They have a good variety of glasses to choose from. Dr. Song is great! She's knowledgeable, communicates well and listens. She has always addressed all of my concerns. The lady that helped me choose my glasses/frames was really patient while I tried on everything. Two other ladies helped me with pricing and explaining the insurance for contacts and glasses. First Lady was really nice and explained things well. She was called to help another customer so a different lady with short hair came to continue. The second lady with short hair was rude and her tone was a bit loud when I wasn't understanding her. I wanted to walk out. If it wasn't for all the other positive interactions, I would've left and never came back. I felt really uncomfortable as if I was a customer dealing with a Karen worker. My rating is for all the other workers and Dr. Song. read more

Me and my husband were clients for a very long time (over 7 years) and have to agree with a lot of the recent reviews. Customer service has gone downhill so terribly. The wait times are ridiculous. I've personally waited over an hour. The Dr and staff are always trying to upsell you and it gets uncomfortable. Finally straw was they tried to charge two exam fees and when he said something their attitude completely changed and were rude. Unfortunately we will have to find a new Dr. read more

Dr. Song and her staff friendly, helpful, and professional. The selection of frames is huge, and all three of my kids found the perfect frames to match their personalities. When we've had any issues from two of my wild kid's frames, they were more than willing to help get the frames back to their original state. read more

My husband and I have been going here for years and really do like the doctor. That is where it ends! The rest of the place is a disaster. Trying to purchase glasses is like buying a car. Once you have gone through the entire process and finally get to pay, you have probably been there a good two hours plus (usually a half hour or so before you even see the doctor for your set appointment). That is all fine and good, but to have to keep calling to find out if your already paid for glasses are in is ridicules. This last time I got told that I was TEXTED that they were in almost two weeks ago. They TEXTED a LAND LINE! When did customer service become so poor that you don't actually call a person and offer to tell them? Unacceptable for what was over an $800 order out of pocket - that was after all the insurance company payments. Time to find a new doctor and not because of the doctor. Very sad. She needs a much better office manager. He is awful! read more

Staff is super helpful, prices are very reasonable, highly recommend checking this place out when its time for a new pair of glasses.

This optometry is going down the hill. Customer service has gone down and they cannot even find a prescription of their client, what gives. Time to look for another optometrist. read more

Dr. Song is very professional and always has time to answer questions. I have been going to her for several years and highly recommend Valencia Optometry. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. read more

Walked in there with my husband to check out what kinds of frames they had because I was in the process of shopping around for new glasses. Walked in there and the asian man behind the desk said hi but didn't say anything further to us. A "Can I help you?" or "Would you like to try some styles on?" would have been acceptable. As I was walking around looking at all the different frames they had there (Got an added star because of the good frame selection they had) I noticed he kept looking at us with a scowl on his face as if we were going to steal something. Didn't want to give my business to someone like that so I went elsewhere. Gave my business to Lens Crafters in the mall and was very happy to do so. THEY have excellent service ... with a smile! read more

I first met Dr Song when she worked at the Wal Mart Vision Center. I'm not sure how many years it's been, but quite awhile ago. Even though I no longer reside in the California area, on my visits out that way I schedule my appointments with her. She is extremely patient, caring and knowledgeable. The office has a great selection of frames and the lab does a fantastic job on the lenses. I have progressive lenses, I get the anti glare and reflective material added. Once I made the mistake of going elsewhere and I won't do it again. I recommend anyone try this office for all your optometry needs. A+ in my book!!! read more

Valencia Optometry is a first-rate customer-service-focused business that I recommend to friends. Dr. Song is fantastic! Her knowledge and skill of optometry is exemplary. If I have any questions, she and her staff are always patient and willing to help. It is always a pleasure to visit her office and staff. read more

Dr. Song is a wonderful optometrist and amazing person. She really knows what she is doing and the professionalism she demonstrates is a caliber above anyone else in the area. I recommend everyone go to Dr. Song for all your vision needs. read more

I've been going to Dr. Song for well over 10 years and yet it has taken me this long to write a review! I have had at least 6 Optometrists and Dr. Song is the best. Even though I have since moved out of the area, I still make the 1+ hour drive to her office to have my eyes checked. Yep, that's loyalty for the excellent service!!! read more

We have been coming here for 10years. Dr Song is an absolute love. She's so caring and kind and knows her stuff! They have an awesome inventory of glasses, which make it hard to choose! But they let you try on as many as you'd like until you find your perfect glasses. They take the time to size you and offer advice on what glasses would suit your prescription best. read more

Been a long time patient and lately with an appointment wait times are over an hour. Obviously no respect for her patients time. This is not right. Will find a new eye DR who reflects our time read more

I'm new in town and used yelp to refer this doctor to me. The doctor was thorough and explanatory however the staff does not make you feel appreciated. I felt I was less welcomed and my issues were ignored. Would i recommend or return probably not. read more

Nice people, but the service is horrible. I went in for an eye exam appointment and two hours later, I walked out seeing the doctor for 20 minutes and with no glasses. Then I went back and asked if they had contacts in stock to which he replied yes. After my transaction, he told me they would be there in 2 business days. This is unbelievable and so frustrating!! read more

Traveled up from Hollywood on the advice of a friend. Am planning on giving said friend a very nice bottle of wine, because my experience was beyond excellent. Dr. Song was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, she explained things to me about my sight and eye health I was completely unaware of, and doing so in a friendly, calm demeanor. The staff is patient and at no point did I feel like I was being up sold or directed towards a more expensive pair of frames. I really can't Rave enough about the team. After years of spending hours at the eye doctors to be brushed off I'm glad I have finally found a place to take the whole family for all of their eye care needs. read more

Dr Song is a great optomologist and a nice lady. Staff is proficient and I usually find everything i need here. Couple of times there were some big time miscommunications between the staff and I. But they got resolved quickly. Accepts most insurances I believe. Wish I lived closer. Been seeing this place for over 5 years. read more

I really like this optometry. Everyone is super friendly, polite and very patient. The exams are quick and I hardly wait that much.

Great doc, very nice and knowledgeable. Have known Dr. Song professionally and been a patient for a while, and am very happy with her service. Even though I don't live in the area, I don't mind the effort and time to drive to Valencia, just to be seen by her. I highly recommend Valencia Optometry and their friendly staff. Good selection of eyeglass frames too. read more

I love this place. We have been going here for a couple of years now and have always been satisfied. Dr. Song will look up the insurance for you. The front desk staff always checking with me if they can assist. Cheerful service, and I always enjoy the time there (well as much as you can for an optometrist) read more

My family has been going here for years. Everyone is extremely helpful and super friendly. They were quick, efficient, and patient when it came to finding a pair of glasses and adjusting them. Great place. read more

I love Dr. Song, I have been going to her for years now when she used to be in Walmart...she is very personable.

My Mom was visiting from out of town and had an accident with her eye. I called for an appointment asap and they were able to take us last minute on a Saturday afternoon. We were seen very quickly and Dr. Song was so knowledgeable and professional. She made my Mom feel 100% better and couldn't have been more helpful. The visit was very affordable and pleasant. I would recommend her to everyone! read more

Dr Song is amazing! She is so considerate and great at communication. Great staff, everyone was extremely helpful.

5 stars for everything! Everyone is friendly and helpful. I was in and out for an eye exam and contact lens fitting in a little under an hour and for a great price I must say! Had my contacts the next day! Great service and friendly staff read more

I had a previous eye doctor and wasn't happy with my last visit so I decided to find a new one. I found Dr. Song on yelp and decided to give her a try. First thing I loved was that she was open on Saturdays and open late. The appointment was for my kids who are 5 and 3 . The whole office was friendly and welcoming upon us arriving. They all did so well with both kids. Dr. Song was so good with both kids and was able to compete a full eye exam (never done before). She is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed the visit and so did my kids. I will definitely be going back and recommending her to friends and family. read more

My coworker recommended this place to me and I'm glad he did because it is a little gem. Very comfortable...and considerate staff. The doctor seemed to care about my exam. When I had a question about my night vision, she was very informative in explaining things to me and told me things that I would never have considered. Very very helpful to me. There was an enormous amount of frames...looked like thousands....and the woman helped me pick some Oakley's. They made them in about 40 minutes and I was shocked because I didn't even know they could. She really made an effort to help me and she gave me her personal opinion and I'm glad because other places always made me feel rushed. She even asked the doctor for her advice. My family likes my glasses and I will definitely take them to this doctor next time even though we are moving away. I will recommend this office to everyone. They seem to really know what they are doing and I left with a smile. The staff was very polite to me ...excellent visit. read more

I love this office, Dr. Song, and her staff. My kids and I have been going to them for years. She was thorough and patient with my daughter's first eye exam, and even helped her pick out frames that would be "schoolyard tough".. they have a GREAT selection by the way! They've even offered to mail contacts to my son's Navy ship for me when I went to pick them up. An appt is usually necessary, but they've squished me in for a new contact lens fitting before a vacation.. I just had to wait a bit. No need to look anywhere else! read more

My first experience with an optometrist for myself, I have always went with family members to different locations. Staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. The office was clean and organized. Staff was aware of my price range and accommodated my budget. Definitely recommend, after seeing experiences with family at Costco and Walmart, I would refer them to try this office. Great deal! Thanks again! read more
