I have seen them put their genuine concern for people's hair over their personal financial gain, advising against services that would harm their client. She was so nice and took time with my as a client. I could not ask for a better hairstylist for my engagement! Like my previous review states I will never let anyone else style my hair but Lala!!! And now since it's been over 6 years I figure I would update my review! She's STILL my go to stylist and now she even has a makeup girl Elizabeth!!! Elizabeth has done my make up about 4 times now and she nails it every time!!! Whatever mood I'm in or whatever my event she always gets it right. She listens to what you want which is the most important for me. A lot of make up artists cake the make up on but she puts on just the amount for your face. I've also done an eyebrow keratin lift with her. My eyebrows were growing in every direction, it's been about 3 weeks now and the lift it still there. It helped my hairs grow in one direction and have more shape. I will definitely do that again. So not only is Valanciaga a great place for hair, but now it's a one stop shop for all my events!!!! The girls being the biggest sweethearts are a bonus!! read more

I always get nervous going to new hair stylists because I have a ton of red in my hair naturally, and seems like every stylist gets it wrong - every color I do turns out red and I usually hate it. Had been here a couple of years ago and thought I would give them another try with my longer hair. She had her mother cut my hair. Long, thick, curly hair, always worn curly. I asked for a trim. Everything was going fine until she used thinning shears on my thick, curly hair right in the front. Basically ruined my curl definition and created frizz right in the front. To say I'm pissed is an understatement. I called her after the cut to let her know you should never thin curly hair because it ruins the curl and creates frizz, she was extremely defensive saying 'YOU want to teach ME!? My mother has 30 years of experience!' Girl. Why in gods name would you thin beautiful, thick, curly hair?! After her mother thinned just that portion I quickly stopped her and said that ruins the curls, her mother replied ' but your hair was thinner at the ends before.' Well, no duh, that's why I'm getting a trim, breakage!! I wanted to just shrug it off, hair grows, but it looks so bad. Frizzy, limp, straight hair that's thin at the end right at the front of my face. Still pissed. read more
