First time here. I just realized they charged me $60 for a very basic pedicure. My problem was the…read morepedicure. Look, I've been getting my nails done since I was 10 years old back when there was no gel. I specifically asked for a pink French pedicure and she said she wouldn't do it because if I she uses his regular polish, it will "smear." I actually told her to just leave it without polish and I'll go somewhere else. It's my birthday. I'm paying for toenails that I actually want. Thankfully, Nana told her how to do it. I've also had much better $25 pedicures. There was no massage, hot stones, no hot towels, she barely scrubbed. It hard to justify $60 pedicure. I also had a broken toe and I asked for square shape toes. She said "This one can't be squared because it's broken." ??? OK, so you want me to have one round toe? And one square toe? So when I go out and have my feet out on my nice date, I'm gonna have one round toe, one square toe lol? I had to tell her if she could use gel or acrylic to fix it. I thought that would standard to fix it... maybe that's why it was $60? HOWEVER. Nana was amazing. It was my first time getting like a Russian/gel manicure. She was very meticulous and did a perfect job. I'll go back to Nana for my nails, but I'll go elsewhere for a pedicure. Looking down I can still see my feet are dry and toes aren't that square like I asked 3/5 are round

I came in with sensitivity from a previous nail service and politely let Nina know that my nails…read morewere tender while she was buffing them. Throughout the appointment, I remained soft-spoken and communicated my discomfort respectfully. However, I felt that comments were being made about me while I was still sitting there, which was both unprofessional and uncomfortable. I eventually let her know that if she wanted to discuss me, I would appreciate her waiting until after I had left. What stood out to me most was the disconnect between the level of experience claimed and the quality of the service provided. Nina mentioned she had been in the industry for 16 years, yet the finished nails were uneven, which was disappointing. Everyone has difficult days, but professionalism includes treating clients with respect, especially when they are expressing discomfort. I left feeling more concerned about the quality of the work and the overall customer experience than the sensitivity issue itself.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after giving this salon multiple chances, I feel it's…read moreimportant to share my experience. One of the main reasons I kept coming back was because my favorite nail technician works here. Otherwise, I would have stopped visiting a long time ago. On one visit, I asked for nothing more than a simple trim to remove my split ends. I left looking exactly the same as when I walked in. There was no visible difference, yet I was charged a premium price for a service that didn't deliver the result I requested. What bothered me even more was the atmosphere. Instead of feeling welcomed and comfortable, I felt watched the entire time. Some staff members would often look at clients while talking among themselves, which made me feel uncomfortable and unable to relax. Another thing I found unprofessional was that, during business hours while the salon was full of clients, the owner would sometimes gather a few employees in one corner of the salon. They would stand there laughing loudly and having conversations unrelated to work. As a customer trying to enjoy a service I was paying for, I found this distracting and unprofessional, and it took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. A salon should be a place where clients feel respected, comfortable, and valued. Unfortunately, that was never my experience here. The only reason I continued coming was because of my nail technician, who is talented, professional, and always did an excellent job. Sadly, the overall service and atmosphere have convinced me not to return, and I cannot recommend this salon.

They pride themselves on detailed quality work but behind my nails were not cleaned properly. The one nail that was repaired did not get polished behind so now there is a ledge where food and grime is getting stuck. Also their credit card machine didn't work. And the owner didn't trust her own technician with pricing so she had to come over and confirm they charged me for gel removal and buff/shine with additional fees. I did end up getting the manicure and pedicure, which totaled over $200. I would not recommend this salon unless you have 3 hours to spend on slightly better than average nail work and want to over pay. I also don't think the owner understands customer service especially for a new client. I won't be returning.

Both Ani and Anna were very attentive throughout the appointment and kept checking to make sure I liked the shape and cuticle work, which I appreciated. I especially loved my pedicure. The only issue was with my manicure. Toward the end, I noticed a piece of dust trapped under the gel or top coat on one of my nails. Since it's something I'll probably notice every day for the next few weeks, I pointed it out when she asked if everything was okay. She checked it and added another layer of top coat, but the dust was still visible. I'm not someone who likes confrontation, so I ended up just leaving, even though I knew I'd probably regret not speaking up more. Overall, everyone was kind and detail-oriented, and I really enjoyed the pedicure. I just wish the manicure issue had been fixed before I left.

They responded back with great advice & scheduled my appointment for the next following weekend. my appointment came around and i didn't realize how close they are to me until i arrived. they don't have their own parking however their is street parking in the back. As i walk inside i was immediately greeted by a lady with a lovely smile & i told her that i had an appointment for dry pedicure. she got me in right away, no wait & the pedicure tech was setting up the chair. Varduhi is so nice. she introduced herself to me immediately and apologize for her English not being good which was absolutely okay with me because i speak Armenian myself! i didn't know backstage beauty was armenian owned until i arrived at the salon & seen all of the amazing hardworking beautiful woman's. Varduhi continued to make me feel comfortable during my appointment, she reassured me about my toe length & the sensitivity of my cuticles. i really appreciate when techs speak with you. i LOOVEE the complimentary snack & water. it was very sweet & so yummy! the chocolate was delish!
