Located above Found and in Kerrytown Marketplace & Shops, V2V is a very cute predominantly clothing store. There are so many aesthetic pieces here, but it is definitely extremely pricey, so keep that in mind as you check out the store. I've actually never bought clothing pieces from here. Instead, I've bought several cute prints, plates & cups from here & they are all such great quality. read more

Love this shop. Without fail I always go here to pick up something for my mom and aunt for Mother's Day and find something lovely. Be it nice jewelry or some higher end beauty products like lotions, perfumes, etc. They also have some nice home decor touches like candles, diffusers, or lovely little decorative knick knacks. For myself its easy to get lost perusing the racks for a lovely new frock or scarf. The prices are usually a little too steep for my wallet these days but I do think they have a great sale section and can usually find a nice statement piece there without breaking the bank every now and again. Definitely a good place to treat yo' self if you want something fancy, too! Staff varies from aloof to really friendly. I've never had anyone be rude or given me any grief but there have been times that I've felt like I was interrupting something. In the end though I always leave a little poorer but with some really great stuff! read more

Vintage to Vogue (or V2V) is a boutique in Kerrytown that carries a varied selection of items. It's not just women's fashion anymore. They also carry skin care and items for the home. They have a lofty, bi-level space that showcases their sections in style. Honestly, and I mean this in the most loving way possible, I'd shop here if I wanted to shop for my mom. The clothes aren't fashion forward, they are more catered towards women who like billowy, colorful threads -- think resort wear for someone who wants to hide their shape. I peeked in on a bridal trunk show here, it was fun and classy -- definitely check out their events if you get a chance. read more

The employees were too busy having a conversation and looking at their phones to say hi to me or offer any sort of assistance. Also, the store has literally no sense of organization. The clothes are not organized by color, brand, style, occasion, price, anything. So browsing here is not even fun. read more

There is so much to enjoy about Kerrytown and V2V adds a nice splash of fashion to the mix. Aside from V2V's unique array of clothing items, they also carry one-of-a-kind jewelry. My wallet favors the 'sale' items and you can usually score a pretty good deal. I bought these coral-like earings for only $7 (see photo). V2V also specializes in scents and you can sniff your way to a candle which seems as if it was made just for you. They've also got oversized calendars which are vintage replicas of various themes like maps and birds. I haven't seen these anywhere else. So even if you're not fierce about their fashion, there are still plenty of interesting items which may spark your fancy. P.S. If you are shopping with someone who is really having a blast and you just want to rest, there is outdoor seating right outside V2V (see photo) and a nice cafe across from that. read more

I love V2V! They carry a unique selection of trendy items from clothing to kitchen to home decor. While things seem a bit pricey, they are very on-key with trends and "whats hot" which can often be a bit questionable off the beaten path from "high street" stores. The staff was very helpful and seemed knowledgeable about any questions I had. I can't wait to get my paycheck in the next few weeks so I can do some real shopping here. It's a dream come true for someone looking to make some finishing touches to their wardrobe or decorating scheme. Love it! read more

V2V is in a very beautiful 2nd floor space in Kerrytown and is definitely a lovely browsing experience. To be entirely honest, I haven't spent too much time seriously perusing their racks and I have never purchased anything. (Except for one very important item! See below...) It's a bit too pricey for my blood, but I did notice a pretty great sales rack once. That being said, the clothes are very nice, not at all dowdy for the most part and skew toward the 30s-40s set. However, one day I stopped in and noticed they had a bridal/formal wear section in the back. I had just gotten engaged and had no idea what I was going to do about a dress, so I was intrigued. I looked through their samples and was very taken with the Siri line that they carry. I ended up finding a style that was perfect almost immediately! I called a little while later to make an appointment and they were able to get me in a couple hours from the time I called--this was in April. The actual ordering process was easy for me because I knew the exact style that I wanted. The salesgirl, Megan, was super nice and informative and easy to work with. The lead time quoted to me for a Siri dress was 3-4 months which seems kind of insane, but the wedding was in October so I had plenty of time. This is important to know, though! Maybe 6-8 weeks later I went in with my maid of honor who was then looking for a dress for her own wedding in December. She was much more open to different styles and didn't have a concrete idea of what she wanted, so the saleswoman pulled a lot of different things and very patiently and helpfully led us through finding a great dress. She also was extremely informative about alterations and special requests that could be accommodated by different lines. My MOH found a dress she really loved and was told that someone would get back with her in a few days with a price quote. Well....they just never got back to her. At all. She ended up calling them a couple weeks later and they said they had emailed and called Siri tons of times and hadn't gotten any response. The woman she spoke with said she'd get "right back" to her and--again--never did. Really unprofessional on Siri's part, but also on V2V's. They totally lost a significant sale when my friend just threw up her hands and said "Forget it." Also, I was told that my dress would be shipping in June. Well, June came and went, I never heard anything and had to call. Turns out Siri "ran out" of the fabric. Sheesh! Annoying, yes, but it would also have been nice to know about this. I did eventually get my dress after V2V apologized very kindly and expedited the process with no cost to me. However, even with "expediting" the dress took over 4 months to get to me from start to finish. Yikes. I can say, Traci and Megan were extremely kind, genuinely cared about my happiness and seemed to be doing their best to stay on top of my order. The general vibe I got, though, was that everything seemed pretty disorganized. I would not recommend this place for a bride if A.) you're in any kind of time crunch or B.) you want the store to handle everything for you and you have no interest in following up with anything. All in all, I am happy I went with V2V--nicest women ever and my dress is just beautiful, but they totally botched my friend's experience--and after my glowing recommendation, too! I've been shopping at V-2-V since 1993...and during that time it's been through a few permutations, and after the move to the larger space, I've hardly bought anything (I'm in my mid-30s now...) The clothing is, for the most part, a strange mixture of frumpy, linen-bodybags, and annoyingly floppy, trendy, cutesy-prints, or spandex-Jersey stretchy crap. What is tailored, is very expensive and they are lacking is sizes -- not much over a size 10, except for the aforementioned linen sack dresses. They have a nice selection of beautiful occasion dresses - but sometimes the trends are just wrong, and there won't be a thing a regular person would be caught dead wearing. (I'm talking about pleating around the bust/sack dress with a drop waist...truly hideous.) It seems like the upstairs has the more pricey/conservative lines - and the lower-level carries more trendy/boho/weekender items. There is also a small, very expensive kids section on the lower-level -- the clothes are actually pretty cute if you can hold-off going postal when your little darling colors her $200 frock with a marker. What truly redeems V-2-V is their awesome housewares and toiletry items. Yum. Ever so often, they have great jewelry or handbags as well. read more

Unsure if being about 10-15 years below their average target demographic made the service so terrible here. Despite waiting around the fitting area, I couldn't tell if the fitting rooms were taken or not since the staff/friends of staff were trying on clothes and fully giving customers waiting the cold shoulder, but it took a while for them to give me a fitting room once they wound up their conversations. I also couldn't really see if they were sanitizing clothes between customers since the hanging rack in the fitting room was even more sale clothes, with nowhere to separate the clothes tried on by people during COVID. This is a stark contrast from more chain-ey mall stores where I'd expect lesser, but all customers are usually made to drop clothes they aren't purchasing in a separate area which are then steamed/isolated for 24 hours. For me to even find a sales attendant to ask that question was an uphill task since they did not have any around the area. As a person of color and younger customer, I was definitely not given the same attention in terms of replacing/finding sizes, responsiveness, etc. compared to the white customers shopping there. Pretty cute options for office chic and summery mid 20s/early 30s outfits, but would avoid just based on the unhelpful staff since nothing in the clothing section is exclusive enough to not find at other boutiques. I'd definitely pick other friendlier stores in town for sure where customer service isn't discriminatory. read more

I've shopped at V2V for along time. I hope they stay in business. I've tried twice in the last week for Christmas presents there but each time I went in I was stared at blankly by two salespeople at the counter. Really off-putting. I've loved their accessories and the brands they sell. A bit higher end casual and some special pieces. I get it, I'm not 28 but shouldn't they be welcoming to their customers? The prices are high and there is a lot of merchandise. Retail isn't easy right now but if you are hiring people who aren't interested in selling or treating customers well you will go out of business. I was looking for special things for my two nieces in their 20s. I went to another store and found some really cute things with the help of the salesperson there. If you work in a store you should know the inventory and be able to assist customers. Maybe they were social distancing? But they could still say "Hello. How can I help you? This is my favorite clothing store in Ann Arbor. It's locally owned and the people who work there are always really nice and helpful. The downstairs area is targeted more at a younger audience, as it is mostly Free People and similar looking brands. The upstairs features a formal wear area as well as great basic pieces that work for a younger and older style. They also do interior design and have lots of interesting furniture and home and kitchen items. read more

Great store, great selection. I found this cute little boutique by chance while shopping in Kerrytown. It's located in the marketplace just upstairs from Found, one of my favorite gift shops of all time. This is a store that caters to the consumer that likes a little variety in her wardrobe and elsewhere in her life. Super cute clothes, jewelry and unique gift items. I like the fact that the stock is so varied and not so "cookie cutter." The clothes are amazing, decidedly higher end than typical mall duds. I like that. As with most smaller niche boutiques, V2V seems to only stock a few pieces in each design, so locating a specific size can be tricky. I've asked about certain items that I was interested in if they had more of it, but in a smaller size, in the back, but they usually don't. Bummer. If you're a tinier girl, like myself, it could be a tough go of it because they don't seem to carry many smaller sizes- at least not in the pieces I've desired the most. It seems like every time I think I've found the perfect piece, it's too big. Like I said, bummer. I've found some cute jackets, over sized scarves and tunics here, albeit not as inexpensive as I'd prefer them to be, but they're too cute to quibble so about price. The pieces are, for the most part, eclectic in style and well-made, including items by some designers who specialize in an "ethically conscious" approach to making clothing/jewelry in either sustainable or recycled materials. I love that and can get behind that any day. Like I said, prices aren't that cheap, but you get what you pay for in this universe and I'd rather pay a bit more to have something that I love over something that is just meh if I can do that. Overall, I love the store. Everything is so adorable. The prices are a bit higher end than the mall, but it's hard to find items like this at The Gap, so there's that. They do run sales and other promotions here and there, but as the prices are a bit inflated to begin with, I don't see where the sales are saving me all that much money. Oh well. Aside from clothes, accessories and jewelry, they sell a small line of candles, perfume and other assorted beauty products, etc. The customer service here is fine, but not exactly what I would expect from such a nice boutique. They're friendly enough, though not overly attentive, but that isn't such a big deal because I don't love it when salespeople fawn all over the customer because it comes off as a bit disingenuous. read more

The store has a great selection of women's apparel and gifts, and excellent customer service - shout out to Julia for her help and making me feel welcome! About a year ago this store moved to much larger quarters in Kerrytown. I think that somehow the move ruined them. The selection of clothing is not nearly as interesting or varied, and the new stuff is disappointing. It just doesn't seem to capture the same spirit and style it once had. Too bad. read more

This store has gone from a unique, upscale boutique to a mostly T shirt cargo pants store, so dissapointed! The clothing lines shrunk about 75%. They use to carry european designers such as Sarah Pacini and Majestic, now they carry basic knits that are cut for Grannies and made in China. Except for some left over cute jewlry, gala gowns and a few pieces of interesting home decorative pieces, it is entiredly devoid of fashion. Vintage to Vogue? I think not, it is more like Garage sale to Coffin. read more

I think V2V is more of a store to be seen in than to actually shop at. They have a decent selection of clothes, but the prices are quite high. I'm a huge fan of some of the brands they carry and noticed a shirt that I had been eyeing on the actual brand's website was on display in this store. The shirt was on sale online and in other A2 stores, but V2V was still selling it for full price. I decided to make the purchase online, saving fifty percent with shipping included. While this was not the first time I had seen inflated or full priced items that are sold elsewhere on sale, I continue to make an appearance in the store every few times I visit Kerrytown. Sometimes you can score a great deal in store, but most of the time it is wise to stop in solely to check out new ideas for fun and hip outfits. read more

V2V is a trendy store that has a lot of luxury gifts and clothing. They had a decent sale rack today where I bought a pair of comfy sweatpants. Not on sale was a pink/purple lace bra which I thought was priced fairly and looked sexy on me. The sales clerk is polite and friendly. I love looking at the jewelry and shoes and smelling the soaps and lotions. A plus to this store is that it was recently expanded inside the Kerrytown Mall which has a genuine assortment of high quality goods. I love coming into this store to relax since I always feel welcomed. read more

I was in saturday before easter around 3/4ish in the afternoon at their kerrytown location and the sales associates were some of the worst I have ever seen in a boutique. When I came in both of them were engaged heavily with one customer while they were checking out which is fine but after said person left neither so much as welcomed either myself or my mom. I assumed this was because we came in while they were engaged with someone else but 3 other customers came in and had the same thing. Later when I walked by the counter clearly looking at clothing they both glanced my way then went back to their conversation. Additionally they were badmouthing the clothing not only while there were at least 5 potential customers in the store but they did so loud enough I think you could hear them at the stroller store. The exact words of the employees: Person A: "Oh look I don't COMPLETELY hate this." B(summarized): OMG I know right?! (then proceeded to say something rude about someone named stephanie whom I assume is the owner) In addition the sizes of almost everything only go up to about a size 12 which means I can't fit anything because of my large bust so I will not ever be going back to any of their locations(which is a shame because I rather liked their clothing but it was to small and I refuse to ever shop anywhere where the employees can't even smile and say hi). I would suggest gaining a couple lines that fit at least a size up and being careful about hiring college students(UM students I find tend to be snobby and not understand what customer service is I find). read more

20 years from now, I could see myself really liking this store. Right now, I don't look nearly old enough to be wearing most of the stuff in this store (or have a big enough bank account for that matter), though the only piece I have ever gotten from V2V was a blue eyelet tulip Kenzie Girl skirt which makes me look 14 all over again. But I really like the fact that there is such a store in Ann Arbor. It ups the fashion value of this Midwestern town :) read more

I was surprised to find Vintage to Vogue had moved to the upstairs level of their store. I was also surprised to find that Elephant Ears the children's store had moved into the space. What surprised me the most was how much I liked V2V in it's new cozy area. I love the new layout! The store looks awesome and I'm so glad to know it's still there. The store is sooo much easier to shop now, and the product is fantastic. I can't wait to get in there and get a head start on my Christmas shopping. read more

I would not recommend shopping here. The return policy is the worst for a high end boutique. You have 10 days to return an item, which tells me they are lean on money or ignorant to competition return policy. They have managers that are inexperienced and rude (they are immature and snobby). If I'm going to spend $200 on a pair of jeans, I would prefer to have good customer service and normal return polices that are consistent with other high end boutiques. I give both of these stores quality rating a 0. Von Maur is my new choice. read more

I am incredibly disappointed with V2V. For as long as I've lived in Ann Arbor I have been going to V2V ( Arbor Hills and Kerrytown) when I wanted a fun new clothing item or a unique gift. I recently got engaged and started to do some wedding dress shopping. Of course I called and made an appointment at the Kerrytown location and I was excited to try on the beautiful dresses I see when I visit the store. I had another appointment at The Gown Shop right before V2V that ran a little later than expected. V2V called me 5 minutes after being late and I apologized and explained that we were running behind but we were on our way. The extremely rude worker on the other end of the phone responded by saying "Well exactly how close are? We wanted to close early tonight so you'll need to get here soon". I told her to cancel the appointment and I will not be going there for my dress. Choosing a wedding dress is a big deal and trying on the different gowns is supposed to be relaxed and fun. I don't want to have to be rushed out or feel pressured because some sales girl wants to close the shop early that night. read more
