The most beautiful pieces of clothing I own are probably from Anthropologie. Generally on the more expensive end (but it is definitely worth it for unique/stunning/high quality things you'll love well), but I've also gotten a couple things I absolutely love in a good sale. I've really liked that sometimes when I start a fitting room, I'll find additional things I hadn't picked out myself in the room as recommendations based on the other items I picked and if we talk about what I'm looking for. Got an amazing dress to wear as a wedding guest that was heavily on sale and perfectly my size this way once. I don't think it was even out on racks. Also love their beautiful home goods. Also on the pricier end but don't sleep on the sale section. Just got an absolutely adorable serving dish and plate set for a great price. This location is in a nice plaza with a lot of other retail and dining options. Parking lot is always a little crazy but there's the additional space kind of behind the store (next to it technically) if the main lot out front is full. read more

The 40% sign was up in the sale room. Good news I thought until the rude employee told me that the sale was over. Since the sign was there I think the store should have honored it. I was prepared to buy alot of items.!! I put everything back. I then we to TJ Maxx and purchased look alikes (same quality) but for less money! read more

OK. I'll stop being a curmudgeon. The store selection still isn't the most thorough of all the area stores but dammit if the ladies here aren't just the nicest and most helpful customer service reps there are. I spent some time in there this evening browsing, trying on a few things, and doing some gift shopping and each gal was so warm and hospitable. I walked out of there in a way better mood than I was when I walked in. 5 stars for the staff. Holding one back overall just because I do wish the company would send them more stock. I was a new customer to Anthropologie and bought some petite items online because they're not in store. One of the items was huge so I went to return online and it suggested I return to store for free. The sales girls tried to refuse my return and loudly admonished me in front of other customers trying to tell me I bought final sale. I had to prove it wasn't and they finally processed the return with lots of snark. Left with a refund, bit humiliated and in tears. I'm so shocked by how mean they were to me. read more

Love this store! They have the greatest selection of dresses, jewelry, and clothes for any occasion. I stopped in with a friend, not realizing they were closing in 10 minutes.... (we thought they were open til 9 pm) Anyway, the staff was so friendly and helpful. One mentioned they were locking up in 10 minutes, but they were definitely not pushy to get us out. We made our purchases and we were out by 8:00. read more

I am a HUGE Anthro fan and was thrilled to drive past this store while moving to Ann Arbor. I do sadly have to agree with the other reviews where although the workers here are FANTASTIC... the inventory is fairly limited compared to other anthros. I typically shop sale-only items and the sale section is VERY tiny. I still will continue to shop here but I know my basket-size will be much smaller than usual (which in a way is a good thing for my wallet). If you find something online you love, I would highly recommend calling in ahead of time to see if this store has it on the floor! read more

I love this store as do both of my daughters. We now frequent this establishment since it is walking distance from our home! My girls LOVE the candles and wool wrapped soap and I love the clothing and jewelry. Do not miss the sale room in the back lots of great finds. The cookbooks are amazing! Outstanding customer service. Best anthropologie store I've visited (from Tennessee, Ohio, Virginia, Houston).

For the most part this antro has served its purpose but I do have to say the young ladies need to work on their customer service skills. I was trying to figure out how a scarf/face covering was suppose to be worn. The sales girl's response was, "oh I don't know I've never tried it on." And didn't seem to try to help me figure it out. I work in customer service and never would I tell a customer "I don't know" I would always try to provide a solution if I didn't know. So I hope someone reads this and can help train the staff to never say " I don't know" and try to find solutions for a customer. In these times I would of thought maybe she's a racist since I am not white but I am mature enough to not take offense to it in such a way, but you never know who will. So I advise this location to do better customer service training and be more helpful and enthusiastic, Anthro is not cheap by all means and would expect better service for the money I do spend there and working out of the same plaza. I would have given 1 star but that's bad karma so I won't do this and if I am acknowledged I will change my review but until then this is my honest opinion. read more

Absolutely NOT. I ordered canisters thru their bridal registry on Monday through the store because they did not have them in stock. The obviously untrained employee did not order them thru the registry like she should have, and it's now Friday, and despite multiple attempts at contacting the Ann Arbor store, customer service, and emailing the registry, they still are listed on the registry. I paid for these Monday. I've never seen such incompetence. They keep assuring me they will take them off, but they are still there! They were just delivered to my house. Do I have to take them back to Ann Arbor (15 miles), return, them and then have them properly purchased thru the registry? Utterly ridiculous! read more

Anthro is one of my favorite places to shop online for high quality items at great deals during savings events. I shopped in this store only a few times, (often my size is gone or out of stock in that store maybe because everyone who works there seems to be my size too) so when items go on sale there they probably often get grabbed by the employees. My bad experience in this store: a lovely jacket (short caramel leather with zip detailing) I had grabbed off of the sale rack was an additional 50% off looking at the price at the tag and how great of a deal it was (did the math quickly in my head) obviously grabbed it to try on! They put it in a fitting room for me while I continued to shop, I used the bathroom, found a few more cute items to try on then continued to the fitting room where the 5 items I had found here being held, no surprise absolutely LOVED the jacket! Was giddy about it even! The woman in the fitting room was very sweet even grabbed me a belt to try on a pair of high waisted pants I had found! I went to check out with a few other items too I had found and the jacket rang up at full price! What in the world, must be an error... I checked the tag and the sticker/price reduced tag on there was not the same one that was on it when I grabbed it off of the sale rack earlier. Puzzled and confused knowing I checked the tag and grabbed it because of the great deal, I offered to grab another one to quickly resolve this issue so they can make the correction. Found another one exactly like it but different color and size she scanned it, rang up full priced too and this one still had the sale discount on it still! The excuse of the manager was that it must have been placed in the wrong section and possibly mislabeled.... It seems like someone working there wanted it, switched the tag out while it was out of my hands to purchase it later for the great deal themselves. Furthermore, reduced items are not ringing up as reduced in their system, and often being mislabeled and misplaced... Disorganized, falsely advertised, lead to a very SAD, DISAPPOINTED and FRUSTRATED experience. I walked out with nothing, ($300 gift card unused still in hand) and will never shop at that store again... read more

I absolutely love this store! Everything from the clothes to the decor is beautiful. All the employees are incredibly friendly and nice. They go above and beyond to help you in anyway possible. It isn't the biggest store, but if you can't find something or need a different size, they can order it for you there and they wave the shipping fee! read more

Absolutely love this store, especially the customer service. We had ordered an item that wasn't in the store and had a slight techinal mix up. The manager personally helped out, after business hours. I am so impressed with this action. Most stores would have waited until the following business day. This store/boutique is the perfect store for Ann Arbor. I will return. read more
