I initially selected four gel colors from the wall I was shown, but all of them were out of stock. I ended up having to choose new colors while my feet were already being soaked and worked on, which felt disorganized. Within just a few days, my gel manicure chipped, so I called to have it fixed. At first, they only offered appointment times during standard 8-5 work hours, either the same day or the next, which wasn't feasible for me. After some back-and-forth, the owner agreed to open 15 minutes early to accommodate me before my flight that weekend. While I appreciated the effort, the repair itself felt rushed--three nails were fixed in about five minutes. When I walked in, I gave them my name, said I had an appointment for a mani/pedi, and picked out two separate colors for my hands and feet. My technician began right on time, and I explained I picked out two separate colors and showed her what I wanted on my hands and feet. She did a great job on my toes. After painting them, she set them on the edge of the tub and went to assist another customer. I thought, no problem. She's going to get someone else started and then come back once my toenails have dried. After sitting in the (very comfortable) massage chair for over 30 minutes, I took my toenail separators out, put my flip flops on, and walked to the register. I thought someone may ask about the manicure, but no...I paid, left a tip, and that was it. Maybe I should have asked to "speak to the manager," but I was honestly just trying to register what happened. At the end of the day, I have some amazing-looking toes, but feel frustrated at the interaction.
