I have been going here for years and my nails turn out FANTASTIC every single time! They are very professional and make sure your nails are perfect! They have too many colors to choose from, and are helpful with suggestions if you ask. Perfect place to go if you want to get your nails done to perfection quickly. They are very efficient and you are in and on your way in no time. Tina and Annie are by far the best in the Treasure Valley, and I've been getting acrylic nails for 20+ years. I type for a living and my acrylics never lift, chip, or loose their beauty in between my apts that are every 3 weeks. Took my daughter in as a gift and both of us were very happy with our holiday nails (the photo shows 11 day old nails FYI). How fun! This is the second time in my life I have done this and I forget why I don't go more often. My dad (he wondered the same thing) pulled me into Beauty Nails to get a mani/peti while my mom shopped. What a fun daughter/father thing to do on Valentine's Day! I always worry about getting a foot thing from someone prior to me like I read about in the news. I was excited to see how important sanitation and using clean tools was to everyone in the shop! I had Annie and she was wonderful! My whole hand and foot work-over took about an hour. Annie never hurt me once, which I always stress about when I think of getting my nails done. The place gets busy so coming earlier than later is probably a good rule. Several groups showed up and were told 30 minutes, so if you want to enjoy some foot rubbing with your closest pals, get there before noon or even 11 but I am sure it can vary. I don't pamper myself very much when it comes to nails but I might try to make this a tradition a few times a year. Prices are a bit high but I do believe, you get what you pay for. My dad's basic mani/pedi was $35. Mine was $50, a bit more because I got gel nails but if you want your nails to last, I think it might be the only way to go. read more

Hands down, the BEST place for a mani/pedi in the Treasure Valley! I've been coming here for 5+ years. The cleanliness of the salon and friendliness/professionalism of the staff is off the charts!! Tina ( the owner) sure knows how to run a successful business. I'm always impressed by her clients who have been coming to her for years upon years! Not to mention, she greets every "regular" at this salon by name when they enter (majority of their customer-base are "regulars", which right there speaks volumes). Every time I call to make an appointment, Tina recognizes my voice and addresses me by name. All four of these family members that work here do amazing work - though, Annie is my favorite :) Her work is impeccable. This small business value their customers and it shows. I have been having mani/pedis done here for several years. They do an excellent job on my nails. I have complete strangers approach me in restaurants, in hospital waiting rooms, at drive through windows and compliment me on my beautiful nails! Their nail polish color selections are vast. The staff is helpful and friendly. They greet me by name as I enter this establishment. I've been getting my nails done at the salon for over five years now (by Duke or Annie) And as a Boise native who has tried most of the nail salons in the area until I found this one I can say with confidence that you won't find a better place to get your nails done! Finding a nail tech who truly pays attention to detail and makes all of the extra steps necessary to have your manicure really last makes such a difference. My nails can easily go 4 weeks between fills because they stay on so well! (And my nails grow fast) I also regularly get pedicures here and they do an amazing job with pedicures, manicures and acrylic/gel nails. Whenever we are traveling or out of town and I have to get my nails done or filled somewhere else I am always so disappointed in comparison because I'm so used to having an amazing nail tech. I really wish there was a no stars rating option on Yelp because that's what this place deserved. Me, my friend and sister all came in to get a manicure, manicure and pedicure, and pedicure, respectively. Instead of accommodating us by having the available employees (I doubt any of them were licensed) work on our group as they were available, they fucking single threaded us with one lady. What were the problems? Allow me... The cuticle scissors were dull. She had to yank for the scissors to clip. It hurt. They did not sanitize after each customer. I had to force her to cut my nails. She had the nerve to tell me that longer is better. WTF? I don't really give a shit what you think, actually. The nail clippers were dull and left my nails ragged and she didn't file my nails. She barely buffed them. She forgot the base coat - I had to ask for it The whole process from start to finish took 15 minutes. Quality right there, ladies and gentlemen. My friend's polish was globbed on. It was so thick every other nail had air bubbles in it. She was too irritated to ask for a correction. My pedicure and my sister's pedicure were equally as ridiculous. The used the same dull cuticle scissors, didn't sanitize the chairs in between each customer. Repeat all problems stated above. I don't expect a nail salon in a mall to posh and luxurious. What I do expect is competent technicians using sanitary tools. I am so pissed. I will never go back again. If I could I would shut the place down. This place is a fucking joke. And yeah, I know what you're thinking. We should have just left after my friend got her manicure done. But we didn't. Ask for Kim. She is a perfectionist. I'm not an acrylic nail girl, so I cannot speak to her skills with acrylics but I can say she does a beautiful French tip. The French tip is such a classic look and every line should be flawlessly aligned to your natural nail line. I have never been so pleased with a manicurist; it is hard to go anywhere else. Kim pays attention to detail and she is friendly. Whenever I poke in to see if she is in, I immediately dart for her chair. When I leave, I can't stop admiring my nails. Seriously? It's like getting engaged. Also, everyone else notices. What is a better compliment? They have different levels of manicures and pedicures you can do from basic to luxury. I get the luxury because they will get the cheese grater out and grind the calluses away. I haven't seen any other salon do that. All my girls who wear heels out there, heyyy! I encourage everyone to try the gel manicure, the manicure stays for at least two weeks and you can get it on your toes too. Perfect nails and perfect toes? AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I'm fighting off tears looking at my butchered eyebrows right now. After a busy couple weeks I finally had time while at the mall to get my brows cleaned up. The waxer sat me in an upright manicure chair (should have up and bolted then and there) and proceeded to slab wax all over my eyelids needlessly. I've been waxing for years, but exclaimed in pain after the first eye. Because of this I asked to see a mirror. She just kept going. By the end she had lifted skin off the bridge my nose and left one eyebrow noticeably thicker than the other. I can't even fix it immediately because the skin is still too tender after her rough treatment. The only positive thing I can say about the place is that they voided my credit card payment after I demanded my money back upon closer inspection of my horrific brow job. read more

Went in to get a gel manicure done The gentlemen ripped my cuticle and tried to cover it up with a towel. Didnt like the way they looked from the start. The polish looked chalky and didnt look completely done. not even a week later my manicure started to chip and my nails started to crack. I called beauty nails and they told me to come in and they would have a look . Went back in had horrible customer service the gentlemen didnt fix the job just put more gel nail polish on top. And walked away. I've never had such a thick amount of nail polish on my nails before. The polish is all bubbly and gross looking. My nails are cracked and damaged looking now. Didnt fix it right to begin with. And my cuticles are all cracked and broken looking. Highly not recommended read more

I have gone here off and on for years ... and for whatever reason I keep coming back but now that's done. Went in to have a mani pedi which I scheduled, get there no record of my appt. (they have always been pretty unorganized) So I am told they will try as hard as they can . .. ok great... I still want to get my stuff done I made the appointment. Pedicure was pretty good ... manicure was awful. (The person who did my nails did not do my pedicure since she doesn't "do" acrylics) I wanted a fill and was charged for a fill when all they did was very poorly slap some paint over my nails, which by the way looked like total crap since I needed a fill asked for a fill and scheduled for a fill ... I had broken one nail off and the one that was repaired popped off the very next day. Will never go back, don't recommend this place. There are a million nail places this one is kind of a rip off. I would not recommend it. I went there to get acrylic full set done and I can say it was the worst nail job ever. The gel coating started to peel next day!!! And in less than a week the design is half gone! And btw they said its extra charge for gel coating over design. What? I've been having my nails done forever and never heard of that!! Terrible service. In the Boise Town Square mall, first floor, next to Sears. If I could give a negative minus 5 rating, I would. I didn't have appt and walked in. First gal did a pedicure and did a great job. Charged $45.00 for a pedicure with French gel. She didn't have time to do a manicure so a lady named Louanne did that. She was very rude, cut me, caused bleeding then said it was because I had dry skin. Seemed angry that I didn't want gel paint. It simply doesn't stay on my fingernails well for some reason- she said I was wrong. She rushed the job and the paint came off the very next day. When I called back to have it fixed, the owner said I would have to have Louanne repair it because they were all private contractors. Buyer beware. read more

I went here for a gel manicure. The lady kept trying to persuade me to get a pedicure. I told her "no" after she asked over and over. I explained that i am going camping and that I would rather not get one until after wards. She then asked me yet again (going on the 4th time, no exaggeration). I said, " I am going camping, remember?". She then said, it is only $20 for a pedicure if you get the manicure. I said, "ok great deal, but I am going camping!". She said, well $20 isn't that much money and I will put gel on your toes so it will last longer. So I said " Oh, okay, well then in that case, I will do it". After all $20 bucks for gel toes is a great deal in my opinion. Well I proceeded to the spa bath chair and she worked on both my fingers and toes. They look fantastic, I am not going to lie. However, at the end...she told me it was $65. I thought to myself, how does a $25 gel manicure and a $20 pedicure add to $65. Surely, she did the math wrong. I told her that she told me the pedicure was $20. She then said, no it is $40. They were closing and I had to rush home, so I paid and even tipped her $6 for the great job. However, I feel absolutely fooled and taken advantage of. I am calling them today to see what I can do about this! read more

I never am not one to write reviews or take the time out of my busy day to announce a complaint, however I was so appalled by this company I felt it was only right to let others know by writing an honest review. When I googled "Nail Salons in Boise, Idaho" the company Beauty Nails popped up and without hesitation I set up an appointment for my friend and I to get our nails done. When we arrived, we were seated with a gentlemen who began the process of doing my friend's nails. Within 15-20 minutes I noticed there was not a nail tech available to help with MY set of nails... So I politely asked the gentlemen next to us, "Sir, is there anyone else who is available to please help with my nails while you do my friends, we did set up an appointment..?" He replied, "No, I will be doing both of your nails." At that point, my friend and I looked at each other with an awkward disbelief. Most salons are very prompt about attending to their clients, at least within a reasonable time manner, and especially if they set up an appointment! Although we should have just left, my friend was mid way through the process so we allowed the gentlemen to work on both of our nails simultaneously. (This is so unprofessional and rude to do to any client. One nail tech per client should be an automatic expectation, which this salon failed at delivering. Secondly, my friend and I had to hop back and forth between chairs every 10 minutes. How annoying, right!? Within that switch, no tools were cleaned or sanitized, which left me questioning their protocol for sanitation and safety regulations. We have all heard horror stories from dirty salons and no client wants to take that risk.) 3 hours later, we were finally done and leaving the salon tired and disappointed. Meh, the nails looked okay, so I went on with my day. Within 3 days, I had 2 nails completely break off, so I went back into Beauty Nails and asked the same nail tech if he could please fix my 2 broken nails. He told me I would have to wait an hour and the amount it would cost to fix- which I refused to accept. I had explained to him nicely that I was just in the salon 3-4 days prior, and that with the service I received and the quality of my nails, I did not feel I should have to pay. (Clearly the products they use are not high quality because nails should not be breaking days after you get them professionally done.) He ignored me completely, no eye contact, words of apology.. NOTHING. What I expected was "I apologize your nails broke off so quickly, please have a seat in the waiting area, I will get you in as soon as I can." But it appears this company does not care about customer service, the quality of their work, the sanitation of their tools, or the overall experience they service to their clients. I am a life long resident of Idaho, I have been to over 20 nail salons in the state, and Beauty Nails is by far the WORST nail salon I have ever been to. Thankfully, LE Nails was at the same mall, so I went upstairs to see if they could help me. LE Nails was able to fix both of my nails within 15 minutes NO CHARGE! This new nail salon should have charged me, technically, but they didn't. They were more eager to help me rather than make money, which I felt was genuinely kind and respectable. LE Nails has gained a client for life! I highly recommend them! Do not waste your time at Beauty Nails, you will only leave feeling disappointed. read more

Got a brand new set of gel nails and ONLY FIVE days later I saw green bacteria growing under my thumb!! :( Not good. Was the powder that they used on me bad? I had to find a DIFFERENT place to fix my nail and they told me the powder may have been old! I will NOT RETURN. Fungus growing can ruin your nails! read more

I have no idea what happened in her experience and I am very sorry that she had such bad service. I truly do hope the let that nail technician go. However, Tina and Vince (the owners) are great at what they do... always professional and going the extra mile to make my nails/toe nails look fabulous! The price is always right. ok so me my grandma and my mom went to have a fun girls day and they were right off the bat rude... they started me first and then 10 min later they started my grandma and half way thru my grandmas pedi they finally started my moms toes.... the lady doing my nails kept on cutting my skin and drilling until my nails were burning.... then when one of the ladies started my moms nails she was yanking her feet around and didn't even bother to ask if she wanted her toenails clipped. after she was done clipping she got up to do another ladies nails and my mom looked at her toes and the lady made her skin bleed and cut them REALLY uneven so my mom had to leave and go to another salon. the service at this place is horrible they don't treat you good at all they don't have good customer service there. I highly recommend to you guys NOT TO GO THERE!!!! worst service ever read more
