Lovely Nails on Broadway is my regular nail spot that I've been frequenting for the past 6+ months. I can't believe that I used to live so close to here but never went before, now I live downtown and make the drive here to get my nails done. I love the vibe of this spot, everyone is friendly and I've had so many great conversations here. While I've seen a few men come in for pedicures and whatnot, I can't help but feel divinely feminine while getting my nails done here. The vibe reminds me of the 'Legally Blonde' salon scenes, it's just very girly with the pink walls but also just a very comforting and uplifting environment. Bringing in a coffee or some sort of drink and getting my nails done is one of my favorite ways to practice self-care. I always get complimented on my nails/ nail art and have referred everyone to this spot! Jade is the go-to gal that I always call in and ask for but I've also gotten my nails done by Evelyn and she's great too! I've also seen some awesome nail art come from Maddie, but I'm sure you can't really go wrong with anyone here! The prices are very reasonable, the only thing to keep in mind is that there is a $1 card fee for credit/ debit transactions. I would say that for a gel manicure with nail art- I usually average about $45. For your first visit, they send you home with some nail care supplies that they've used on you to bring back your next time! It's to help cut down on waste and I feel better knowing that the tools have only been used on me! I keep it in my car so I never forget it... (Yeah, I have had to run back out to my car to get it a few times). Call in to make an appointment, I've seen a lot of walk-ins get turned down because they're just so busy. read more

Susie did a beautiful job on my nails! I feel she really listens to my concerns and wants me to be happy with the results. I've tried other salons when my own nails were long and tough but over several months they ground them down so much all my nails broke off from becoming so brittle. (Arg) Susie is working her magic touch to rebuild my nails with a strengthener I've never heard of before. After one visit, I'm convinced she cares about my nails and not just making a quick buck. I went here to Lovely Nails for a pedicure. Now, days later, my toes still look great because Wanda did an absolutely fabulous job! One of the best ever! I'm not sure if I will return though because of the atmosphere. The place had bright pink walls, two huge TVs blaring at the same time, on different channels. Initially, there was a scheduling error with the website since they have 2 locations now which wasn't too big of a deal. I booked an appointment on a Saturday just because, and rescheduled it to a Tuesday. This definitely made up for it. I am SO in love with my nails. Jade was incredibly accommodating and quite literally nailed it with a design I saw off of Pinterest along with the other ideas I had in mind. I went in for two things, a pedicure and a gel polish removal and cuticle trim on my hands. Both were really dry from camping/hiking for a week. Maddie, who did my pedi, was amazing! Friendly and meticulous. Wonderful job. This review is not for her! However the girl (Krystal? Karen?) who did my gel removal and 'cuticle trim' was *awful*. She used the sander to get off the gel instead of a soak and left chunks on. She didn't soak my fingers, or use an orange stick to push the cuticles back, but instead just tore off a couple hangnails. She roughly trimmed the nails but did not sand at all, leaving them uneven and square. SHE DIDN'T EVEN CLEAN UNDER THEM! My nails look worse leaving than coming in! My photo is *right* after leaving, sitting in my car. After she was 'done' she just signed and said 'ugh, your poor cuticles'. Oh ya and the kicker? These two things together cost $52!! read more

I went here to get my nails done on a lunch break one day and I'm conflicted on whether I'll go back. The color selection was more limited, but the options were pretty. I had an idea in my head and they didn't have the colors I was looking for (black glitter). No problem, found another that I liked. The service was quick, probably 45 minutes, and definitely no frills. My technician wasn't overly chatty and I'm okay with that. My nails are a little bumpy, which is disappointing. I wasn't overly impressed with my technician but all the seats were full and everyone seemed to like their experience. I think if I return, I'd try a different technician and not come with a color or idea ahead of time. read more

Couldn't recommend this place enough. This is the only nail salon where I can book with any of their nail techs and have confidence that I'll leave loving my nails - and I can say that because I've seen almost, if not, all of them. New in town. Nice girls but just sub-par service. I got a pedicure and there was no cuticle treatment or dead skin removal, just a scrub. You can also see the old polish sticking around in my pics. This should have been totally removed. Just a very minor scrub and massage. I'm talking extremely gentle. Everyone was so nice but it was literally just an average paint job and not worth $32 (which is pretty steep to start). My toe also smeared hours later which is unheard of for a salon job. read more

The salon is super cute and clean and the owner is amazing. I had booked a short full set of acrylics, which I had been looking forward to. The nail tech was very nice but my nails turned out uneven and the polish was patchy. I ended up painting over the polish a fehours after getting home because it bothered me so much. So I started going here a few months back when I discovered Miki was the new owner she has always done a great job a little on the slower side but a good job. After my first visit she suggested I go to one of the other girls who could do more of the new stuff colored acrylic and designs.I trust her judgment and she said Torri was good. The fill Miki did lasted until my next appt.I booked an appt for a Pedicure and a fill with Torri I get there and no Pedicure had been booked. I live close to Eagle they are on Broadway she asked me to come back later and some one could do a polish change but not enough time to do a pedi and apologized ok no bigge. I drive back that afternoon from Eagle for the polish change. I them book with Torri a fill and Pedi Before my next appt with Torri I had four nails lift off completely she thought it was possibly the set, it was old so I paid for a take off and a new set and this time I can asked ahead of time about my toes and found out she had not booked enough time to do a Pedi but someone else could do it. Okay now I know to confirm a few days ahead although you should not have to call every time you make an appt to make sure they have it right. After I got this new set 2 lift of completely. So we decide maybe they are to long and we shorten them and its been two weeks no problems. I call to book my next appt and I am told Tori is not comfortable doing my nails. I am only told this after I ask what is going on because she tells me Torri has to many clients and I am like ok was I not one of those clients. I am like seriously after all the mistakes and driving back and forth on my end nails lifting after a week and the chances I gave her, I am also one of those people that believe in tipping and I do. I work just as hard for my money as they do and as the consumer I should be treated with the same respect and consideration they expect from there clients yet I wasn't. I would not recommend investing you time or money at this salon. read more

The girls are so sweet and my nails look beautiful. I won't return because they did nothing with my cuticles and literally zero massaging.

I have been a customer of theirs for YEARS. They've always done a great job. They just wrongly accused me of something I did not do and made a huge deal about it. They said I was late when I wasn't more than 10 ever and always called. Every time. And the last time I was there, I was not late. I waited in the waiting area for 5 minutes before they sat me. I've decided to terminate this relationship which is very sad. But I've never been accused of something in a salon that I did not do. I've even referred multiple friends there over the years. Went in for a gel manicure, they were very nice and professional! I don't get my nails done often, but I enjoyed this experince!

On March 9 of 2020 I went to get a fill at lovely nails, it was my first time going there, Suzie did my nails while she was coughing every two seconds on herself and all over my hands and the table, she did not have a face mask on or sanitize her hands before starting to work on mine but I still let her do my fill despite the beginning of the coronavirus rumors. She took about an hour and a half to do a fill because she keep getting caught up in different conversations with people at the salon. The following week I noticed two of my nails starting to lift and chipped off... I went into the salon to get my nails fixed unfortunately it was only Suzie there and so I explain to her what was happening she offered to fix my nails and I had to remind her to sanitize her hands before touching mine, about 10 minutes later the owner walked in the salon and ask if I was a walk in and I said no I explained that I was having problems with my nails and needed them to fix it and I asked her if she was available to do the work because I did not want Suzie to be coughing all over me again or to have to come back again because my nails were lifting.. Mimi the owner arranged for a third employee to come in the salon to help while she fixed my lifted nails. Torry was that 3rd employee... Tory walked in from the get-go with an attitude. Miki The owner asked Torry if she could finish fixing my nails because she had an appointment coming up, Torry in front of everyone in the salon told her no and replied that by law she can refuse to service... The owner continued working on my nails and let it go. At the end of my service I asked the owner if she would be there later this same afternoon to do a pedicure, she said she wasn't sure and so I turned to Tory and said are you guys going to be here this afternoon and she said yes we will but the owner won't. Then Tory told me she thinks it would be better if I went back to the salon that I had before and that she didn't want to do my nails in case they lifted again... Tory was extremely rude, obnoxious and disrespectful.... she has zero customer service skills. I will not be going to that salon in the future or recommending it to anyone. read more

Went here to get a fill since I couldn't get into my normal nail tech... by 4 days my nails were lifting and the paint was chipped. I'm two weeks in now and all my nails have fallen off! Never coming here again. Also it took them almost 2 hours to fill my nails and it was 50 dollars and I didn't even get any sort of design! Too expensive and they don't last!! My normal nail tech I go to I can wear my nails for 4 weeks before needing a fill and they never lift and fall off. Super disappointed. read more

The girls working at Lovely Nails in Boise are great. They are sweet and talented. However there are two large TV's on the wall both playing different music videos. When you sit in the pedicure chairs its just a cacophony of noise that is irritating (it hurts the ears or the senses or something). It is not relaxing, its like nails on a chalk board. I mentioned at the time I was getting my pedicure how aggravating it was. Nobody turned the sound down on either one of the TV 's. Perhaps this doesn't annoy anybody else and its just me. Im sad because Im going to have a find more relaxing place to get my pedicures. I love the girls there, they really do a great job.
